Princeless Princess

This right here is the BEST dupe for princess...EVER! I sprayed her 5 times, and let her sit for 4 months(through winter), spring hit and I popped this jewel out to be greeted with a fresh lemon, and light ginger, with a creamy/tea opening. Middle I was given, jasmine, green tea & Marshmallow. Then in dry down...Vanilla, light marshmallow, & a warm benzoin. You do pick up a little apple and peach(adding sweetness) but they are blended in so well, they are not leading roles here. She's lovely, it lasted 12hrs on my clothes, I was still getting compliments at 8pm when I applied around 7am. This projects nicely for about 4hrs, then sits close to skin rest of the time. You will stop smelling it, but those around you will still delight in your sillage of, Marshmallow, tea, fresh, goodness. Will keep rebuying this version instead b/c the OG just doesn't last or even project good at all unfortunately. For me there is slight differences b/c the concentration is more in this dupe, so of course it's not SPOT on but if Kilian increased their concentration I fully fill then this would be an exact dupe! And I perfer it with more concentration. This is an almost spot on dupe imho. And I like it more. This is a love for me!

I'm not sure how I feel about marshmallow as a note--it's just spun sugar and vanillin, right?--but Princeless Princess, and presumably its inspiration, the long-windedly named I Don't Need a Prince to Feel Like a Princess by Kilian, is a pretty easy reach. My husband said I smelled good, and he usually just says "bakery!" whenever I wear anything vanilla forward, whether it's Guerlain or Dua (or Dior or Chanel or any other house or brand). That suggests to me that other people (besides myself) can discern the jasmine. Sometimes this reminds me of Dior Addict; sometimes it reminds me of Devotion. It doesn't project much beyond one's personal scent bubble a few hours in, but I feel like it might leave a bit of a trail. The longevity is also decent; I hear that it's notso hotso for the Kilian. Update on the longevity: It is INSANE on fabric. I smelled a t-shirt from the laundry that had a little on the sleeve, and it was still throwing like mad five days later. I think people must go noseblind to it when they're wearing it because Princeless Princess doesn't play. I'm not even 100% certain the fragrance will come out in the wash, so it's a good thing I love it.

ps: To the reviewer saying there fragrances smelled musky etc...its very possible someone accidently bottled the wrong scent in your bottle. Happened to me with the Escapade gourmande dupe. My dupe smelt fresh, musky, ocean, and soap. Disgusting clean man scent. Messaged dua, tested the bottle after sending back, nd yep wrong scent was bottled. Fixed it right away. I would have emailed them directly to send back for testing. I'm sorry you experienced that tho. It's a rare happening but ppl do make mistakes.

One of my top 3 duas, and that’s saying a lot since I have more than 80. This beauty is so expertly blended, the ginger makes it bright whilst not being overbearing or spicy. The green tea note makes it fresh, cozy, and calming, whilst the marshmallow note rounds out the fragrance making it addicting. Even people around me who claim to hate and are sensitive to fragrances like it! It’s also way better than the og, imo.

I really like this perfume! It has a lot of the DNA of Kilian Princess. If you look at the fragrance notes, the base of Kilian Princess has marshmallow and vanilla while the Dua Priceless Princess has it in the opening notes and the dry down is more fruit and floral. I own both and love both. It’s not a 100% dupe, but they are sisters. I recommend owning both! Pleasantly surprised and glad to have it in my collection.

I'm on my second bottle of this dupe! I love love love Princess, but I prefer this Dua version because it lasts much longer and the notes are stronger. The price difference is minimal, and the bottle for this dupe is much uglier, but I'm just such a huge fan of this scent I don't care!

I haven't smelled the original Princess, but holy crap. This one is magical: very warm and powdery ginger and fluffy marshmallow. When I smell it I can truly envision a refined royal beauty. Magnificent scent with warm memories tied to it for me. 10/10 truly.

dare I say it's better than the original. opens lemony but then the ginger and marshmallow shine through. lasts FOREVER and silliage is insane. stocking up asap.

ummm update... had her for a year and some change and theres this burnt note that has gotten stronger. its actually terrible now :/

I love it too ! Sweet but too sweet and really easy to wear ! Smelling it makes me feel happy !

This almost has a Burberry goddess type of sweet warm ginger sweetness without the stale ginger effect of Goddess or the overly warm ginger cookies effect of Goddess - the reason I got rid of Goddess. The tea note adds some much needed green freshness but the scent becomes warmer at the drydown from the ginger and peach - peach amplifies the warm sweetness. It's sweet like Voce Viva but again no fizzy orange blossom here and no peppery ginger spice because the marshmallow adds its lactonic smooth sweet quality. When I smell my skin close I detect some lemon and Apple but mainly the tea being a green aromatic element in this not too herbal in a crude way, but still the tea saves this scent imo from being another voce viva or Goddess super spicy scent. I haven't tested the OG in this. I only own Kilian princess of 2022 with the 3 notes by Honorine. This is much warmer and sweeter perfect for fall and winter and for those like me who dislike overly warm super spicy ginger Goddess-like perfumes. I only like bbw jolly gingerbread village in this warm spicy ginger genre only because of the "village" note in the latter from the timber - a unisex green vibe in it. The issue with many Duas tho is that because some are very oily, they seem to open in a similar way like the notes are drowned and blended in a messy way to render them indistinguishable and as if you're closer to the drydown than the more loud opening of normal perfumes which seems to develop in a more clear way into the mid phase and drydown than Duas. Demeter's are also oil-based so some act weird and become powdery on me but their opening is more loud and bright than some of the Dua perfumes' opening. I had the same issue with The glorious Tonka beans, Be in love with pistachio gelato and Sweet Amalfi, but not with Caramel Apple Turnovers and Cherry Caramel Praline. Some DUA perfumes like Princeless Princess and Be in Love with Pistachio Gelato are too oily so they stay close to the skin in the opening rather than a juicy or fresh or loud - alcoholic even- opening that regular perfumes offer. At first this smells plastic on me and a little fishy due to the marshmallow note but, I get the finished perfume in the drydown after 15 mins when I am able to smell the notes in a more clear way, but still not as bright as regular perfumes project or smell up close. The opening is a hot mess without distinct notes and it's fishy like I said. I'll have to see if in time it gets better.

If you like the original Princess but concerned about silliage and longevity, I would recommend this dupe. It's the only one I liked and kept out of everything else from my DUA haul. DUA is generally a pile of steaming hot rubbish, who makes most of their money through advertising and winning over influencers rather than making good quality products, but this was one from them that actually smells nice. It is NOT a replica to my nose, but a scent of it's own, even if you can tell it's inspired by Princess. It is the bolder of Kilian Princess, still feminine marshmallow and matcha, but it's a warm spicy take on it, with musk added. The marshmallow also has a slighty melted, bonfire smoked quality that isn't present in the original. I would liken it to a fusion between the original Princess, and Commodity Milk Bold. I wear the DUA dupe during Autumn and Winter, and the original during the Spring and Summer. If Kilian Princess is Jane Bennett, DUA Princeless Princess is Lizzie. like both, but the DUA lasts overnight on my pyjamas whereas the Kilian doesn't.

Opted to order a little travel size of Princeless Prince since the notes are right up my alley, and I'm really enjoying it so far! It reminds me a lot of Sabrina Carpenter's Sweet Tooth (pink bottle) just with a fresher kick from the citrus and green tea. The dry down is heavenly, and I can't stop sniffing my wrists! I'll definitely be purchasing a FB when it's back in stock.

It's not identical to the OG but it's not bad. a less sweet, more grown up version, with somethjing that resembles lavender. a lot muskier than the OG. but the inspiration is clear. i enjoy this and will get wear out of it, however i feel it is more suited to cold months versus warm months

Not as fluffy and sweet as the original. Ginger note is very heavy. Not bad, but I made the mistake of blind buying thinking it would be the same fluffy marshmallow green tea cloud that princess OG is, Sadly it is not. Projection and longevity is great tho.

Oh, this is not good—at all. I was curious because I love today’s Kilian Princess, not the round ball one. This dupe, I thought, would just amplify the OG. Nope: it’s not refined, it’s syrupy, and it has a bitter/black/brown note underneath.

since the dua website refused to post my review, i'll post it here. i'm not sure where everyone is getting this fragrance that smells exactly like the original, because i certainly didn't get it. not only did it not smell like 'princess' by kilian, but it smelled horrible! it smelled hot and musty, like someone took your attic dust and threw it in the microwave. there was no sweetness to it at all, no marshmallow, no green tea. would not recommend at all for a 'princess' dupe, and wouldn't recommend the brand either.

$36 dollars fucking wasted!! This crap smells like straight up lemongrass and maple syrup, it’s disgusting!!!!! The finery dupe is way better, I’m never blind buying again I’m literally traumatized 😭😭😭😭 whoever said this was a good dupe lied

I love Princess but it has the staying power of a fart in a hurricane. This one smelled nothing like the OG on first spritz fresh from the mailbox, but I left it on, ate a big ol' weed gummy and went to bed anyway. When I tell you I woke up and genuinely had a "wtf is that scent?" moment before remembering what I sprayed on the night before... and it smelled A LOT like Princess, 10 damn hours later!!! Not bombastic in terms of sillage or a perfect 1:1 dupe, but it meets my needs.

I second whoever said this smells like lemongrass and maple syrup. They bottled up something vaguely “gingery” and something vaguely sweet, but so warm that it smells toasted.... no actually, burnt. There are no good dupes of Princess, this solidified that for me. What a waste of damn near $40 for oily citronella fuel soaked pop tart left in the toaster for too long.
