I purchased Raspberry Candied Violets in 2024 and let it sit until recently; the juice had turned dark amber so I knew it would be strong. On my skin RCV smells like medicated menthol for a little over 2 hours - it's very noticeable as I was asked if I had applied Icy Hot :( **About 3-4 hours later, it had changed to the powdery sweet candy close to skin scent.

Pretty strong and old fashioned. It’s got that medicinal orange blossom like LDBS does and the violet is sharp. Not sure if I’ll keep it, but I’ll let it marinate. Starting to think violet is not a note that I enjoy. I’ll come back to this review if my opinion changes. Sad, because I have been wanting to get my nose on this for at least two years.

It smells like Smarties candies + Mentos + Vaporub/menthol. It’s powdery and artificial, not for me.

This stuff is STRONG! I cant compare it to Mallow because i bought this instead of spending $200 on a novelty type of fragrance that isnt ultra wearable... its definitely beautiful though. My husband said it smelled like cotton candy and it does. Just mixed with violets :)

I get a lot of pink pepper in the opening. Reminded me of rifaqaat but with a powdery violet note. I have not smelled the OG, either babycat or mallow so I can’t compare to those but I almost get love don’t be shy and rifaqaat vibe but more LDBS to my nose.
