Rendezvous

This is excellent. However, This is not a clone of YSL l’homme. This is that same fragrance reborn and coming back to life as an immortal super hero. For $33 you get extrait De parfum concentrate... Also for what its worth I like the atomizer! Like many people on fragrantica l’homme was a huge part of my fragrance journey. It’s one of the first fragrances that I purchased on my own. As you know the downfall of that fragrance is its failure to perform. To me, it still remains one of the best fragrances ever made regardless of its flaws the scent profile was always undeniably beautiful. Rendezvous takes a dark turn with the DNA. As you can imagine with more performance it appears the potency is finally what should of been. To me it changes the scent profile a little... the reason is that l’homme was faint and its freshness and faint style made it sparkle more. And this doesn't have that sparkle. Its not as bright but the performance is stellar. And it projects like a beast I think when ginger turns darker it changes a bit and this is what I experience here. The scent profile is absolutely gorgeous! I will be looking forward to other dua fragrances. I think this is worth a blind buy its cheap off there website. Cheers! 10/10

Love the DNA of L'homme but it truly just does not last unless you are right up on application point. Now this, this is right on point with the DNA and it projects and lasts like it should. It's not the most beastly DNA period, but several sprays should get it done. A different fresh scent than the norm and it was worth it on the companies sale around $22.

Just got this because of the promise of it being like my favorite fragrance of all time, L'homme. I can tell off the bat that this is going for YSL's L'homme, but as of first spray is falling short. YSL's L'homme is my favorite scent of all time, and I was so hoping this was going to be as amazing and longer lasting than the original. There is a very rich blended "sparkle" between the ginger, bergamot, and spices in the original that isn't coming across well in this as of now. What's strange is that in the air I'll get small wiffs of the magic of L'homme but when I smell it up close there is a very strong chemical "floor cleaner wood" addition to the smell that is a little abrasive which is definitely not in the original. I'm hoping letting it macerate will allow it to blend better, but for now I am a bit disappointed at how "cheap" this smells. Overall, I'd give it a 2/10 on my first day.
