WOW!! When I first sprayed this on paper, I was intrigued but there was this awful sour note similar to what I smelled with Lux Opulent (which I ended up giving away). But on skin??? This is AMAZING. That sour/funky note disappears immediately, which it didn't for Lux Opulent until much later in the drydown. This is witchcraft...I don't know how others will react but this has jumped up to my favorite. And I have put my nose to quite a few Dua's at this point. All the Boadicea dupes have been amazing (Purple Sapphire, Strength of Wind, jury still out on Valor). At this point, I only buy dupes where the OG is out of my price range and/or discontinued. This is a dupe of Blue Sapphire (Burj al Arab Edition) which I believe is 'sold out/discontinued' but it looks like there isn't much of a difference in the scents, the special edition just projects more (according to Dua). Can be worn anytime except super hot weather, as I think the oud would be too much. Formal-leaning but moreso because this smells RICH, elegant,...and powerful. There's a depth to this one that I've been craving. Will update once I've had a chance to confirm longevity, sillage, and if others also enjoy!
