Scrumptious

This is addicting. A sweet rose/oud fragrance that is perfectly unisex. My wife and I both love it. It performs. It's a sillage monster and it lasts 8+ hours. I have worn the original but haven't compared side by side. For the price, it's great.

I bought Scrumptious during the summer and hated it - it smelled like BO mixed with patchouli on my skin so I shelved it. I decided to give it another try today since it was very cold and some fragrances seem to work better according to the temperature/season. Initially this was a very loud, medicinal scent on my skin - the loudest notes were juniper, cypriol oil and patchouli for about 30 minutes. At the hour mark, it changed to a rose + slightly spicy/incense scent that I loved and it lingered for approximately 12 hours. I probably could wear it in the office but wouldn't want to wear it every day. Hopefully I can use up the bottle by the end of winter and would not repurchase - it's not a hate or love but just interesting enough for me to enjoy it then let it go.

I blind bought 2 Roja Scents (one is the most expensive 34 ml Dua sells) & Spiritus Dei, mainly because everyone has been remarking in the Dua facebook groups how close they are to the Roja Dove fragrances they were cloned after. Scrumptious just doesn’t speak to me, I am realizing that I appreciate more fruit & candy gourmands but not so much those like Snif’s Crumb Couture (had nothing to do with that being an EDT btw), the pastry & cookie scents - even Sugar Cookies xSource & the hottest new Dua on the scene today - none other than heavenly loaf. She’s over 80% full (the other Roja the $80 one ‘Parfum De La Nuit No 3 by Roja Parfums’ or Exotic 3 is full minus a few pumps to start the oxidation of the juice, the Roja it’s cloning is over a band! Crazy! It’s the same price or more than Frederic Maille’s ‘The Night’ ... she’s also up for swap, I’d prefer to bundle them for swap to justify shipping ... I’m flexible & don’t need Dua’s that are $80 exactly- a couple I’d love to trade these for- even though one is a DDL & the other isn’t as pricey either, I’m finding them SO difficult to get my hands on... Marshmallow Dream & Dust of Delight, the swap doesn’t necessarily have to involve Dua at all & there are countless other Dua’s I would swap either or both for... I can definitely show you pics w/ my nameplate. I can also give you my eBay handle as I’m a 100% positive feedback ebayer who most recentLy sold a Penhaligons Portraits Mansion Set w/ 8 brand new 10 ml fragrances from the collection- they don’t sell travel or minis for that collection outside of this set you can view on their website that has been sold out for over 9 months... I have all manner of receipts to show you that I’m legit) ... so in closing- pm me here & we can exchange pics of what we’d like to swap. I am in all the Facebook Dua groups & about 35 or so other fragrance related groups... naturally I’m hesitant to broadcast my real name publicly but I have no issue doing so & you can find me on Facebook along with my eBay account information 🙂 ... I’m not suggesting that one should necessarily buy the Dua instead of the Roja, especially if they have the coin but Sweetie Aoud & at twice the price of sweetie ‘Parfum De La Nuit No 3 by Roja Parfums’ ... it’s a great way to ‘test drive’ the scent profile’s before investing in some of the most expensive scents on the market- many people including myself will use spot on dupes in conjunction with the originals so that their bottles last so much longer.

While I'm not a BIG fan of this house, I felt I had to jump on and give them a good review because I own sweetie _____ AND this and have worn them both extensively and side by side and while SOME Dua offerings miss, this one certainly didn't miss.... Obviously it CANNOT be EXACTLY the same but.. it is the closest of any of tried in a side by side comparison (more than ten)... After 15-20 minutes it is ALMOST INDISTINGUISHABLE from the much more expensive and famous version.... Now your FEELINGS about how that is accomplished or whether it should even be attempted might vary... But this one is really uncanny... A nice fragrance in my opinion but even the one it's trying to copy is a polarizing scent...

Rose + Cypriot Oil + Spices + synthetic oud in the opening results in a resinous, sweet, loud, kinda medicinal scent up top. It misses, in my opinion, that bakery note I get in Sweetie Aoud. Overall, it's not a bad scent - I found it pretty linear, very loud, kind of sweet, and very incense-y as an overall scent. Something like I've smelled from Swiss Arabian and other lower cost offerings from Middle Eastern brands. Longevity was massive at 12+ hours with hours of loud projection. A 7.0/10 for me. It's not a horrible scent on its own but it's also not that close to the scent it's trying to copy...a theme I'm noticing from many Dua offerings.
