Touched By An Angel

This is a perfect copy of Pierre Guillaume's a une madonne. I love the toasted rice dirty milk it's literally one of my top 5 fragrances ever. I have the OG but unfortunately it's so expensive $175 for 50 ML. I love how lactonic it is and the way the vanillas play w the animalistic elements making it a little dirty but so beautiful. I smell toasted rice krispies in almost evaporated milk with a vanilla bean next to the bowl. Not sickly sweet. The vanilla smells like an actual vanilla bean not like cake or ice cream or pudding. 10/10 I might buy a couple of back up bottles

Strong sweet vanilla with strong green cardamom note. This is so strong that I layer with Dua Vanillac Dreams to tone the green note down a bit! Strong enough to stand out outdoors on a breezey day.

Similarly balsamic from the balsam and styrax as Magnetic Moon and with the same lactonic green herbal spice of the cardamom as Magnetic Moon amplified by the balsam, but the latter is alot more woody with a smoky effect and the vanilla is subtle and prominent at the later drydown, while Touched by an Angel is more vanilla-infused and sweeter also less woody with a fresh musky unisex feel from the civet leaning masculine at first and more musky-sour at the later drydown. The guaiac wood makes it smoother in the woody element and adds to the leathery effect of the castoreum since guaiac can have leathery nuances. This and Magnetic Moon are both weird, same league to me and the lactonic balsamic effect is clashing with the green element in both especially in this one, but they make sense at the later drydown when they become smoother. The drydown is slightly leathery from the castoreum but not like gasoline, like cistus is usually. The myrrh also adds sweetness and it makes this more sweet than Magnetic Moon. Both made me nauseous but especially this one so I sold them while I was in the US. I love weird scents esp woody green ones, and I did my best to like them but I'm prone to nausea and just couldn't stomach the sickly sweet incompatible elements I described.
