Vanilla Boba Milk Tea

This is a truly lovely tea-based vanilla. To my nose, after the dry down, it’s maybe slightly more vanilla forward than tea ...but they are both there. It’s just the vanilla jumps out more while the tea lays back, more mellow and abiding. Crisp and fresh in the opening (especially with the nutmeg) and then cool and calm in the base, while the vanilla sings most in the middle heart of the journey. While there is a journey it’s not a complex one, the notes are all always there, they just come out to play their part in more prominent ways at different times. Ultimately this more of a tea fragrance than a gourmand fragrance. (And if you’re looking for the reverse, I think you’d be disappointed) What I really find unique though is the tapioca pearly, I can genuinely smell a starchy quality to the milkiness of it, similar to rice water. Reminds me of a lot of 90s/y2k zen tea scents I used to love back in the day but with a milky gourmand twist.

It's ok I guess. Yep smack in the middle. Light gourmand for warmer weather as it's more on the intimate side as far as projection. Soft and a tad bit sweet which is odd as one would expect the brown sugar and vanilla notes to "POP" but on my skin it's more milky and creamy. I did not finish my sample but it's ok maybe a dislike but not a hate.

first of all, I think that Dua is overhyped. I have seen thousands of youtube videos saying this is gourmand dream and long lasting perfume but this is so far from reality. I purchased this perfume expecting it will smell vanilla, lactonic.. perhaps a bit of tea in it. But not at all. its very chemicals smelling, the vanilla is heavy vanilla from those designer houses YSL, d&g.. There is nothing gourmand or edible..it really reminds me some perfume from those big house names which I always try to avoid. They say that you should let Dua's perfume to macerate for weeks or months but why would I spend 50-60$ for perfume (without tax and shipping, which the total price will go up to 70$?) I cannot use asap?? and do not forget this is just for 30 ml.. this is insanely expensive. I purchased 50 ml from small niche brand called sugar milk co and this is true edible scents. Its oil spray so it does last long time. If you compare 60$ perfume (30 ml) vs perfume oil 45$ (50ml).. I mean cmon. Again, this is just my skin chemistry. Perfumes are very subjective. HMY, You are absolutely correct. People are not realizing This can be over $200 for what a 100 ml bottle would cost. They have a few good ones, most have a weird DNA, but the reality is, DUA should be shipped free & cost $35 for their 30 ML bottles. This "Maceration" thing is fonky. Makes me think something really cheap is going on, no other company has ever said that.
