Vanillac Dreams

I’m absolutely in love with Vanillac Dreams. As someone (male) who owns Indult Tihota, I honestly find Vanillac Dreams even more satisfying to wear. To my nose, it delivers a richer, creamier and denser vanilla experience, while Tihota feels lighter, airier and unfortunately disappears far too quickly on my skin. I also tend to go anosmic to Tihota almost immediately, much like I do with Vaniglia but Vanillac Dreams never has that issue. Every time I wear it, I receive compliments. People regularly tell me I smell amazing and always want to know what fragrance I'm wearing. There’s something incredibly comforting yet captivating about it. It's genuinely addictive. I catch myself sniffing my neck throughout the day because the scent is so delicious and beautifully blended. The vanilla is smooth, luxurious and incredibly wearable without ever feeling overcomplicated. What makes it even better is the value. You get a stunning vanilla fragrance that easily rivals fragrances many times the price, without the hefty luxury perfume price tag. This might just be DUA's finest vanilla creation yet. It's beautifully unisex, subtly seductive and impresses without ever being loud. With only two sprays on my neck, it projects elegantly and remains noticeable for the entire day. What truly sets it apart is its versatility as a layering fragrance. It blends seamlessly with other scents, especially heavier amber, oud and woody compositions. I often use it to introduce a touch of sweetness, adding depth and balance while preserving the character of the original fragrance. I loved it so much that I took advantage of the Christmas 2025 sale and picked up 6x 105ml bottles of Dua Lux Vanillac Dreams. After full maceration, I’ll have enough of this incredible vanilla masterpiece to enjoy for years, if not a lifetime. For a vanilla lover, that's a very comforting thought indeed! 🍦✨

Finally, this is up on Fragrantica! Hands down the most amazing fluffy vanilla I've smelled. I have Tihota as well and they are VERY close with DUA's being sweeter (almost like you are immersed in a marshmallow) whereas Tihota is slightly more complex. The differences are only noticeable if you really dig your nose into the fragrance. Also, the performance on DUA's blows Tihota out of the water. This is probably my most complemented fragrance (people always say I smell like cookies) and it layers well as the base of anything where you want to amp up the fluffy vanilla. A previous review I wrote from when I first purchased it: "I've received SO many compliments with this! People say I smelled delicious, like cookies, yummy, etc. It's macerated for a month with not much change thus far. When I smell it, I'm reminded of a MILDY banana-vanilla scented marshmallow and there is a minty/tingly feeling to my nose when I sniff it for the first few minutes. As it dries down - vanilla sweetness that lasts ALL DAY! I even got compliments from a jacket I sprayed the previous day! I've finally purchased a sample spray of Indult Tihota and I prefer this one. Tihota has a bit of smokiness that is not in the Dua interpretation; it's slightly drier and less sweet. Dua is a bit more feminine, a bit more playful/airy, and is for much more of a sweet tooth."

This is a syrupy sweet vanilla. It is a dupe of Tihota Indult and I will say that not only does it smell better it last longer as well. I have several bottles that range from a light amber to a dark amber and I will say the vanilla has truly aged to perfection. It has not restocked and that is why I use it sparingly but it definitely worth it. The longer it sits the more the musk evens out. So, if you are not a musk lover or new to musk and a gourmand lover, this is the perfect fragrance to start with.

My top most complimented perfume. I bought this dupe for Tihota by Indult and it smells pretty much exactly like it with half the price, one of the best dupes out there. Its pure vanilla and smells like vanilla extract, like you've just been baking in the kitchen. Be warned that one spray is definitely enough, don't overdue it, but anytime I wear this people say then can smell me after I leave a room and that it smells so good. I also love layering this with body lotions to make it more complex. 10/10

Tihota is my favorite perfume, but this creation from Dua is just absolutely beautiful and so spot on to the OG. I mean honestly I was NOT prepared for how much I love this inspired scent!! I baby my bottle of Tihota because of the price tag, but I find myself reaching for Vanillac Dreams every time. Now if they could just restock, that would be great lol.

THE best vanilla I own hands down. Its a simple vanilla with musk. Yes it does have a "minty" vibe to it like Eilish 1 or Nebras but its a bit dialed back. Its so delicious and airy. I have had my bottle for about two years now and the juice is absolute magic. I have a back up "cooking" right now. I will never not have this in my collection.

Guys I was suspicious before buying this bc its so hyped, but its sooo good wow I love it esp for layering. Smells just like nemats vanilla musk, idk about tihota by indult bc ive never smelled it. Honestly vanillac dreams so good I keep getting compliments, def buy it!!! 4.5/5

This is honestly a very close dupe of Tihota indult. I’m really happy with this as it’s pretty good value for money considering I purchased Tihota for a lot more. Longevity is also decent for me, it’s not beast mode but for the price I have no complaints.

Y'all....when the juice gets to that beautiful shade of warm golden amber, you have absolute magic! Sillage; stunning, Projection; potent, Performance; magnificent! Just be patient, Friends!

Strong sweet icecream vanilla. So rare to find a vanilla with good sillage. This is right up there with Spiritueous Double Vanille and Touched by an Angel, as really strong vanillas!

Layered over Eos Vanilla Cashmere, this is pure silken vanilla-musk perfection!

It’s the way the girlies hyped this up to an extreme last year. Yes, it’s a nice plain sweet vanilla, but I feel like Dua has many comparable vanillas at a better price point. It’s good if you’re looking for a linear sweet vanilla extract scent.

Very simple vanilla. The only problem is that silliage is extremely weak for being an extrait de parfum. I can barely smell it.

I agree with "Cogey" about that plastic chemical note. I've really been trying to be patient here, but it's been months. DUA version is sickeningly sweet at first, then dries down to Tihota. Vanillic Dreams is sweeter, less musky/smoky, less boozy. The opening of Vanillic Dreams is a vile, plasticky and cleaning alcohol mess. Tihota is in my top 10 fragrances ever, and I HATE this. Immediate scrubber, which makes it hard to suffer through because this is so potent that a bath and several arm scrubs later, it still won't leave me. I'll let this sit for a year more before I reach my final verdict, but it is leaving a BAD first impression.

I’ve heard you have to let some DUA fragrances “macerate” (or evaporate, really) for a month or so before you can get the full experience of the perfume. I’m hoping that is the case with this one, I was hoping it would smell similar to the Nemat Vanilla Musk perfume oil because a lot of reviewers say this is a dupe for Tihote (which smells like Nemat). It shares some qualities of it for sure, but also has a strange plastic-y chemical note. I put it in a cabinet and I’ll update this in a month to report if it becomes more palatable. I have another DUA fragrance that I love and did not smell weird at first blush and required no maceration, so maybe this one just isn’t for me if that’s the case! EDIT 6/26- I forgot about this and let this sit in a dark cabinet for two years and now the liquid is brown and it’s perfect. I don’t know when it became perfect, maybe a long time ago, but it’s PERFECTION now. Like absolutely divine. I’m not even a vanilla lover. The plastic note is gone entirely and all that’s left is this addictive, beautiful brown vanilla. I will need to buy another one to let it sit for another two years because this is my new favorite!

The most amazing vanilla. I wouldn't usually categorize vanilla as cool, but this smells like a waft of the purest vanilla that you've ever smelled, enriched by soft musk, as you're skating on the ice at Rockefeller Center.

Bought this as a plain vanilla for layering, but it has this weird menthol-y/minty opening. I ended up getting a 10mL of Fire at Will (I'm not gonna pay for Indult Tihota, lol), and that's my go to plain vanilla now.

Lol smells almost exactly as $4 Vanilla Bean Noel by B&BW and also very similar to $15 Vanilla by Outremer (I have all 3 now). Sorry but not worth it at all. It's not unique or special in any way
