Vanille de Mexico

I have been on a quest for a few years for perfumes that remind me of Aquiste’s Anima Dulcis. So far this is the closest I’ve come, they aren’t identical - AD is cacao while VdM has vanilla, the pepper in AD is more nuanced/savory, and there’s more incense in AD too. But still, they give me a similar feeling Also feel this is totally unisex imho. I could see myself or my fiance wearing this (he prob feels it’s too gourmand for his taste tho).

July 2024 - Brutal. Messy. Animalic. Offensive. It’s a bad funk. This needs time and a prayer. March 2025 - Incredible. Fresh. Fruity. Floral. Spicy. At the rate this is maturing, it is going to be killer this fall. It is über complex and has a lot of depth. Smell your arm and you can get lost in it ‘cuz there’s a lot going on. Bergamot. Lime. Ginger. Tobacco. Caramel. Wood. Vanilla. Familiar notes, sure, but the way they work together makes a really unique gourmand. Get ready for a journey ‘cuz this thing evolves. Tip: With all Dua, you need to give them time. If you want a nice Winter fragrance, buy it in the Spring. Spray it. Let it sit. 6 months minimum. Each one of my bottles gets better the longer it sits. For whatever reason, Dua intrigues me. I now have over 30 bottles. Per ml, they ain’t cheap unless you get ‘em on sale. By comparison, I find their dupes to be 90% spot on. Maybe not as well rounded as an OG, but close and always stronger with better projection. I am not trying to sound like a Dua fanboy, but I would gladly try anything they wanna send my way. Just sayin’

Completely for men, no unisex in any way. It's also very strong so no worries about performance. Personally I hated it lol it's just too masculine

Smell's like skid marks in dirty underwear. A synthetic mess, save your money and buy anything else.

I knew this was going to be strong and heavy and love the notes listed but this is not at all remotely a floral fruity gourmand. I was expecting it to be intense in the vein as my beloved Shalimar and not an actual gourmand or sweet or light scent but this is really more of an Arab scent than it is even a Mexican vanilla.
