One of the greatest joys of life was birthed from a perfume bottle!? Imagine that! I can see why some of you thought God was disguised as Memories. This Gate beauty is proof that if you always go for Macy's and JCPenny fragrances then you will never know how amazing you can smell. I'm willing to bet that the maple note ALONE in this bottle can garner 10 new friendships. This could definitely pass as a John Pegg offering due to its ruggedness. This is a "Hey look at me" type of men's fragrance. This daring cologne blends warm spices, balsamic and woody accords for a rich, robust aroma you'll feel confident wearing from the bedroom to the club. The notes of maple, tobacco and frangipini open the scent with a luxuriously enticing atmosphere, while other notes of cherry, tonka bean and olibdanum lend a more exotic flavor that no one can resist. This fragrance was made for people to engage with you boasting lasting aroma while staying true to it's cigar guise throughout. I'm often roaming the fragrantica neighborhood looking for a tobacco fragrance to explore. Eureka! Gourmand fragrances is where I live. Just knock at the front door.

Love from the first sniff! I may buy a bottle. It has a strong opening with arabic DNA imo. There is a tiny similarity with Bond No 9 New Haarlem & The Spirit of Dubai Majalis and it doesn't become cloying like the last one. This is a sweet scent but not overly sweet and it doesn't feel gourmand. Its smell is not edible but delicious. It could be an aromatic and exotic luxurious tobacco blend for a pipe. The opening is very strong and oriental with distinctive olibanum, dominant tobacco, very strong maple sap and noticeable cherry note which feels like Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum. The dry down feels unisex. The opening feels masculine, arabic. There is also frangipani & blackberries at the background. The performance is also very good. Heavy sillage and projection for the first 3 hours and long lasting. Ii'm still evaluating it. Update After trying it multiple times I feel that this beautiful beast fits perfect on a woman. Still I believe it's unisex but it leans clearly to feminine scents. I love its smell..

Love at 1st sniff. The best cherry scent I have encountered. Makes Lost Cherry truly look lost. It has an underlying smokiness that keeps it perfectly balanced. Fruity and sweet without being girly. Performance is all day from 3 sprays. Now I need an arabic house to clone this as the price is out of my budget.

This smells so delicious, you can smell cherry and berry and honey and tobacco, maybe a little smoky, the gate fragrance the whole collection smells very delicious and tasty. Memories really make me feel like enjoying a very good cherry cake, it is very good for all ages. I just love this so so so so so much.

This scent smell like spicy sweet tabacco. I wear it, enjoy it & make no apologies for it!! lol However, on a gentleman(my hubby) this fragrance smells delicious! so sensual:) I get great performance on this frags.

Amazingly beautiful perfume! First it smells like a burnt sugar with some cherry liquor. Then it softens a bit and you feel a tobacco coming. Definitely getting a full bottle of this one!

Unique perfume, 10/10 longevity, 8/10 sillage, the only negative issue is its price.

At first spray, the cherry note is the first one i detect with fleeting spiciness and tobacco at the back, after 10 minutes, the spices lessens and the sweet maple sap hovers to the front making it smell thick and syrupy but not cloying. Borderline gourmand. Smells a bit medicinal to me but not to the point of being unpleasant. The first ever fragrance i smelled with maple sap. Unique. But if you're looking for a tobacco based frag, this is not it. The tobacco here is just a supporting role which gives this a slight smokey smell to balance the sweetness of maple and tonka. Projects heavy. Definitely a winter fragrance.

Lovely dried fruits with powerful dry tobacco and a touch of spices. Nice base with soft woods and dark tonka beans balances the harshness from tobacco notes. It’s good but slightly cloying. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

#1540 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant. I am not a big fan of cherry scents, and the opening is like "Luden's Cherry Cough Drops". The cherry in this scent settles a bit as it dries down and you can pick up the frangipani, maple syrup and blackberry, just a hint of tobacco. The olibanum gives it longevity on the skin. It's good quality overall, but it smells like a plate of "Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity" pancakes at iHop. Fort & Manle "Late Harvest" is similar, as is Initio "Narcotic Delight", but they are not as sweet and fruity as this. The only one like this I considered adding to my collection is Kilian "Back to Black" (Paris Corner has a $30 scent called "Emir When the Soul Gets High" that some believe passes for "Back to Black." I do not.), but I changed my mind. This just isn't my style. For me the liqueur, almond and cherry together smells like one of those cheap, synthetic-flavored Christmas chocolates my Aunt Ruby bought at Walgreens. Cost her more in postage to mail to me than the chocolates themselves. Always guaranteed a Christmas afternoon of nausea. That said, I will definitely take this scent over Tom Ford "Lost Cherry" or Boadicea the Victorious' copy of Lost Cherry, "Bodacious." Both are more synthetic than any other scents I've encountered and ridiculously priced. Women can get away with this for daytime casual wear. But seriously guys, this would just be silly on a man. You'd only wear this to an office Christmas party to go along with your "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" sweater. Yes, I mean the battery-powered one.

When was the last time you experienced child like joy? The very nostalgic moment you have when you hold a waterballoon in your hands, or when you jump in a puddle of water, or squeezing a fartballoon, playing with LEGO. And the place where Memories from The Gate Paris brought me was my favorite smelling store as a child... the candyshop! Memories starts of with blast of sweetness, sugary candylike sweetness. So much that it brings a genuine smile on my face where you just forget you are an adult. Its so funny how people describe this scent. I find it like a candyshop, others smell the carnival, other smell a lunapark! Almost all have something to do with places that they loved as a child. I just can't get enough of this fragrance. At the top notes there are cherries and berries, in the heart we have frangipani, tobacco, olibanum and in the base there is tonka and mapple syrup! In the dry down the tobacco and the olibanum show up for the rollercoaster fun ride, but fortunately stay they only as a side passenger, never stealing away the show from the candy like fruits! I can't imagine someone smelling this and not remembering a fun place! Its sweet and delicious! Some people find it leaning feminine, however I dont agree on that. Its perfectly unisex and childproof! They might even nag all day because they want to visit a theme park... and you know what... DO IT! Youre never too old to feel like a child!

Just by reading the reviews from our good friends below, I’m already salivating 🤤 I can’t wait to get hold of this intriguing but very well received fragrance . I am just a small time hobbyist/ collector and I already knew since I was young that I love men’s frags. Reading along the notes and accords, I am excited and intrigued to put my nose on this one. I have lots of successful blind buys lately because of the reviews from our friends and by reading the notes. We’ll, I promised myself just one fragrance a month ... but we only live once, right 👍 Since I’m excited and no options to sample, I’m blind buying and just ordered online directly from The Gates website. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it would be love on the first sniff. We’ll see till my next update. Happy scent 👃 hunting folks 😉 Update: I received the sample and this one is a winner 🥇 👌 according to my nose. More of a holiday scent 🎄 it evokes a different kind of vibe that’s defines its name “memories” 10/10 “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness 🙏

Well, the young lady who said it was cherry and tobacco that shine through was absolutely correct in my opinion. I was unable to find this in the US for quite awhile but came across it on a small, online perfumery. I was a bit disappointed but I have learned the valuable lesson of coming back to a fragrance. I love The Gate Paris’s presentation, it comes in a box that opens from each side, a la “gate”. It is pricey @ $260 but it. If I up to it like the brand’s other offering ”Inside Out”. That is my favorite scent of a collection of 70.

تست بعدی که یونی معرفی شده ولی حس زنانچی داره عطری فروتی با طعم بوی گیلاس و بری شیرین که شیره درخت افرا با طعمی شیرین امکا بویی مثل برگ سوخته چنار رور رقم زنند عطر خاصیه ‌ تلخی و شیرینی مضاعف که قلب گلی. سعی در ملایمت کینه . با این عطر خاص و نسبتا الگزوتیکی بود نظر منو جلب. نکرد تو نگاره اول. ممکنه بگید ید عطر ارینتالل سادست که بوی توتون خیس خورده هم همراهی می‌کنه اگه پیدار کردید. تست کنید .
