Good Karma

This was my first cheapie fragrance I found on a shelf and it was love at first smell. It's juicy and clean with a touch of a spa type scent but not soapy, sickly sweet or cloying. Longevity and sillage are weak. Would love to find a similar scent that has better of both! Very unique scent profile in my opinion. I have quite a few niche and designer fragrance samples collected now and find myself coming back to this baby which started it all. The lemongrass stands out to me in this one. If I had to pick a fragrance it reminds me of it would be L'Imperatrice.

Starts off with a burst of uplifting lemongrass along with a mouth-watering, juicy, candy-like sweetness. As it dries down it begins to remind me more and more of a humid tropical rainforest after a rain, the smell of water dripping off lush jungle foliage. It's a very fresh, clean and juicy fragrance, perfect for summer and I think it could even be light and unobtrusive enough for a gym scent as well.

I got it for $15 from Marshall's and I think its an incredible deal for what I paid. I'm looking for a really strong petrichor scent and this definitely isn't it, but I can smell a little bit of it and its really nice. Its mostly just fruity with a little something extra

I always find myself acting more hound than human when I pass by the perfume shelf in a Marshall’s. I admit the egregious sniffing could be putting people off but if you’re someone like me and every scent makes it feel like you’re a mole in a whack a mole game being played by a 5 year kid that needs anger management classes then you know how hard it is to find a scent that works. Good Karma, yes, it must be good karma that I’ve found such a safe scent for such a bargain price. I want to describe it as an almost spa smell. It leans more towards a scent shampoo would leave behind rather than an actual perfume. That’s to say it’s unassuming but clean, not in a sterile way but in a way you’d think “ah this person has a shower routine and actually gets their hair trimmed every few months and wouldn’t be caught dead in anything other than a nude or pastel color.” It’s not too little, not too much, just enough to be acknowledged but not judged. Yet I still find it difficult to tell whether it actually smells like apple and kiwi. I guess it has the essence of it + a green sweet smell. Does that make sense? Probably not.

Got it from TJ Maxx for $15, starts off fruity and a little sweet; The mid notes aren't listed here but I definitely smell the pink apple + kiwi. It's bright and a little flowery. I get where the petrichor note comes from, and while I wouldn't say it's accurate it does smell slightly "wet" I feel like it's a semi-linear scent because the dry-down is pretty weak. 2 sprays will last 3-4ish hours on my clothes. Very young and fruity; Unisex but leans more feminine
