This is very artistic and super potent. I did not know what to expect. And it is still difficult to describe the experience. The opening is a huge blast of grape, peach, and violet that is somehow fruity but not too sweet. The dry down keeps this theme but it’s not as in your face and it becomes more powdery and leathery with a hint of vanilla. I did not love it upon initial spray but months later I have started loving it as I started to understand it. It makes me think of running around powdery stone structures in leather sandals while eating grapes and peaches near a violet bouquet. Very long lasting and big sillage. The shipping was expensive but the challenging fragrance was worth it.

Having not sampled it yet, can anyone confirm if it’s anything like 1740? That one, to my nose, embodies the spirit that D.O. is trying to capture.
