Yin Transformation Eau de Parfum

The Parfum is more long lasting and projects more than the EDP. They are both equally beautiful. The EDP is lighter, airier, slightly more citrusy, but not as citrusy as Initio Musk Therapy. This is a very inoffensive scent, can be worn to work or in any professional setting, b/c its not going to make you stand out. The dry down of Yin Transformation is a delightful blend of powdery and smooth notes. Iris contributes a soft, powdery finish that adds a sophisticated touch. The base is further enriched by the creamy, woody tones of Sandalwood and the clean, subtle muskiness of White Musk. This combination leaves a lingering impression that is both comforting and refined.

Comparison between the Parfum and the EDP: They’re both equally as sweet, but in different ways. The Parfum is more nectary and thick. The EDP is more airy and fruity. I tried the EDP first and I like it so much better. The Parfum feels very one-dimensional by comparison. Neither have strong projection or lasting power, but the Parfum has a tiny bit more of both. I think the difference in scent is much bigger than the difference in strength, so I based my decision to buy the EDP off of that.

I LOVE this dry down. Been wearing it every day since it arrived! The citrus and floral notes are beautiful, but the clean dry down is my favorite. Don’t love the iris note, as it is very baby-wipe here, but it really does come and go on me. Longevity is lacking. Wish the dry down was stronger and longer! Not worth the price tag for me.

This version is much more citrusy, tart, and sharper than the Parfum version. These two versions are definitely sisters not twins. The EDP was actually stronger and more long lasting than the Parfum for me, but a bit generic to justify the price tag. It give aquatic orange florals with the slightest hint of musk. It smells like Parfums de Marly Valaya exclusif had a kid with Glossier You. The Parfum version is smoother, more musky, more iris heavy, and a bit creamier from the musk and sandalwood heavy dry down. I will be skipping on the EDP to save for the Parfum. This is a like not a love. The Parfum version is a love, but very steep price tag.

This is a unique lovely and dewy rose on santal and powdery iris base. I would be in madly love with this perfume but I consider myself healed and never fall for beauty that comes with commitment issues. And this edp cannot stay, it creates playful and loving atmosphere and then gone like in 20 minutes which is unacceptable. I let it play with someone else’s heart and stay with the perfume version which is a more mature one with much better longevity.

This Is Just like Chanel eau tendre, i am very surpirsed nobody noticed! I have a bottle of Chanel eau tendre and they are exactly the same. Very nice but not worth the price for me.

This is simple, but beautiful imo. However, I don't get along with poor performing fragrances so I cannot recommend this or encourage anyone to spend this much on something so weak. I like the smell on my clothes compared to my skin a lot more. My clothes smells fresh and bright as opposed to my skin which picks up more on the citrus and musk (still a nice, dainty fragrance but better on cloth). These notes and overall scent align with what I typically wear so I really enjoyed the clean, soft and sophisticated citrus, iris, and musk, but it just vanishes and it becomes unremarkable in that sense unfortunately.

Yin Transformation Eau de Parfum by The Harmonist dries down to Dove Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner, so yeah, I agree with the previous reviewer who said that it smells like CVS. It is a very clean, cute smell with rose and citrus, but it has no business being that expensive!!! The Harmonist is on my list of over-hyped, extremely over-priced brands to avoid.

Love. Very clean and powdery (which I love). I don't think it really smells like you are wearing perfume, simply that you smell clean. Delightful.

Flowery female fragrance. Sample goes to my 13 y.o daughter. Not for a man!

I loved this until my husband told me I smell like Tide detergent.
