Green Tea Therapy

I had this scent when I was a teenager. One day, I accidentally made the perfect scent. I had a lit stick of the regular blue Nag Champa incense. I sprayed the Green Tea Therapy room spray at the same time and the two scents merged into something I have never been able to duplicate. It made me want to stay in my room all day. I highly recommend, if we somehow manage to get this scent back, anyone trying it.

Loved this green tea masterpiece in my late teen and early 20s (2003-2006). Had lotion, shower gel, and spray and repurchased many times. It was sweeter than Elizabeth Arden green tea.

Fresh and light with an undertone of mystery. A personal favorite.

I had this in the 2000s as a trio set of body spray, lotion and shower gel. It was excellent. It had a mellow, almost matcha smelling tone to it. The lotion in particular felt as if you were inhaling tea with cream in it (probably just my brain interpreting it that way, because lotion *is* creamy)...though there was a certain softness about all of the products. A tea, but not with the dry tannin texture of tea, but rather a smoothness. Hard to explain, but I remember this fondly and loved it. Things in the 90s-2000s felt less fussy, and this line encapsulates the feeling of that era. I don't just miss *this fragrance, I miss how everything used to be...

I love this but it doesn't last long. I love the body wash even more but it goes rancid very quickly.

I got this as a child, and I found it boring and sour. I thought all perfumes are bad smelling and sour, and took this "I don't care about fragrances" view to adulthood. Basically I thought I hated fragrances because of this specific edt, until I turned 19. Now, at age 28, I find it a solid ok, and I would recommend it for green tea lovers. Still not my cup of tea

In my highschool years I had the body splash/tonic version of the Ginger Lily and the Jasmine scent, adored both. I had the deodorant version of this Green tea one and hardly ever touched it. I somehow always found it too fruity-sweet, not fresh enough. I guess I just don't like green tea scents to be on the sweet side.(I have no problem with black tea scents mixed with honey accords :)) Definitely not as fresh as the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea.

Green Tea Therapy, I rechristen thee: Gummy Bear Therapy. There may be some tea in this 'healing' blend, and even a dash of mint, but it is that remarkably vague "Floral Fruity Notes" note that really dominates the pyramid. This actually smells like I'm in the midst of eating several gummy bears at once. Also, the first few moments after spraying gives off a remarkably ascerbic tartness, like inhaling dry Kool-Aid drink powder. Yes, the olfactory reality of this fragrance smells a lot less 'Earth Mothery' than its official marketing story, ...but all the same, gummy bears and Kool-Aid probably are somebody's idea of therapy. Still, to be clear, this does not compare with the similarly named Elizabeth Arden classic, ...though GTT/GBT is a more persistant scent. Anything with a 'sweet gourmand' ethyl maltol note (or similar) will likely hang about for awhile.

This was my favorite perfume of all time for over a decade before it went away. I have never found this scent in any other perfume (but I did in shampoo/conditioner) although I have only searched through mall stores in the past looking for things like it. Strangely enough, the closest and almost identical smell (at least to my nose) is not perfume, but the shampoo and conditioner Maui Moisture BAMBOO FIBERS, which gives me the same amount of happiness. Also I see some other suggestions in the reviews above - Berdoues Assam of India and Burberry The Beat. I haven't tried those yet (see comments below). Also for the record Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea smells weird to me, like a clean diaper or perfumed trash bags, and it's barely comparable to this one. Bye Green Tea Therapy. You are missed.

My best friend in high school bought me a room-spray coffret of the "-therapy" series as a going-away present when I went to college in Florida in the late 90's. Green teatherapy was easily my favorite - soothing, slightly sweet, and crisp. I've recently moved back to FL and am on the hunt for hot-weather fragrances. Though it seems this has been long-discontinued, I found a good replacement in Berdoues Assam of India. Assam apparently also smells like Dior Escale a Pondichery... So that's two good alternatives for those seeking a similarly easy to wear fragrance, though they are much more expensive than green teatherapy was!

Used to be my best friend's signature fragrance in her early twenties. It smelled gorgeous on her, really soothing and relaxing. Bought a bottle for myself as well and enjoyed it while it lasted. Unfortunately I cannot find it in the stores anymore - or else I'd run off to grab another bottle. Perfect for grilling hot summer days when you need to go into direct sunlight a lot and feel thirsty in every five minutes. A life saver, almost.

Memories of my childhood. My mom bought this for me. Its green, sweet, floral-woodsy smell reminds me of jasmine tea and green tea ice cream. A surprisingly realistic low-cost fragrance.

yey, you've finally added this :) this is a great perfume. My first perfume given to me by my granny. Refreshing and kind of herbal, holds lots of memories for me

Smells good! Its so earthy! I smell the fruity/green tea more though than the rest of the notes. Its such a calming perfume!

Why is White Tea Rainwater nowhere to be found? That was my jam...
