Each Other

First blast of bright citrus immediately followed by warmth and herbaceous earthy coriander, a peppery ginger zing. Scent turns darker and musky after a minute, invigorating like bitters in a cocktail. This smells like it would be a good drink in a chic speakeasy and it settles on a green note, fresh herby and pleasantly bitter. No projection and I'll wait a bit to see if the drydown intensifies the performance. Unisex but a leans a touch masculine and great for hot weather days and nights. 6+ hours later: A very faint generic sweetness remains.

Standard fougere, closer to Roja's Apex than it is to Creed's Royal Oud. I do notice a slight bitterness which makes me think of hedione or grapefruit, which is indeed present in the top notes and gives small vibes of Roja's Burlington 1819. Definitely nothing special, "Each Other" doesn't really accomplish anything out of the ordinary. Spring-summer masculine, solid performance (estimating ~8-9 hours, moderate sillage going intimate after ~1-1.5h).

Wormwood and lingering warm spice.

You're a green, unripened banana, bitten into with the skin still intact. Pungent and sour, mostly plant flesh. You came too early, unfortunately, and everyone is judging you for what you are, not what you could have been. Each Other by The House of Oud.

I got a sample of Each Other and indeed it smells like drinks, gin based (herbal infusion), and the bitter ones with a touch of sparkle or fizz. It's also like an edgier version of French Lover. However it's not totally edgy, as it is quite low key, tranquil I'd say (so not necessarily only a night time or cocktail party frag) albeit raw and green. EO will fill a small niche when I feel like it and it doesn't have direct competition in my wardrobe. It lasted a good while (with a low hum), I'd put it in the long lasting category. The marketing and associations make sense. I really like fragrances that give me cocktail associations and I like this one too.
