[525] Get The Feeling is the last of my samples from The House of Oud, a brand that has impressed me overall. I was initially drawn to THoO thanks to their particularly beautiful bottles, and I was pleased to find that many of the scents within have been worthy of these works of art that serve as vessels. Get The Feeling is an aromatic woody-herbal scent, featuring a prominent, unlisted fig note. I love fig in perfume, and here it is realistic, complementing the herbal greenness nicely. GTF opens with the green fig note, bolstered by nice pine-like green, herbal notes - likely davana and angelica. There is some citric freshness in the opening and a hint of warm ginger. It becomes more peppery after a little while, with coriander and cardamom quite prominent to my nose. I get juniper during the early stages too, adding its bright, pine-like freshness, bringing to mind a gin and tonic. The aromatic accord is beautifully rendered, featuring unusual notes that fit together extremely well. GTF doesn't change too much on my skin, remaining foresty and aromatic throughout, but it becomes increasingly woody and earthy as it develops. Patchouli is the perfect inclusion here, not too dirty but enhancing the herbal quality, while the woody notes ground this scent during its later stages. It becomes cleanly musky as it fades, with remnants of pine and patchouli detectable on my skin. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Perfectly unisex, GTF is a high-quality aromatic green scent that is deceptively creative; made with unusual ingredients but smells fairly familiar. It is well-blended and nicely composed. Restorative and refreshing, GTF offers easy, cooling elegance for hot weather. 4/5.

First blast of bright citrus and coriander. Darkly green, cool spices, brisk. The warmth of musk comes through after a minute. At first I thought this one faded fast but really it just needs some patience. An hour's dry down later and it's much more potent than the initial spray, the patchouli and sweet wood notes projecting more. Leans a tad masculine and suitable for all weather methinks. 6+ hours later: The fresh dark green notes are still faintly there.

Lemon and grapefruit peel along with a hint of sweeter citrus aswell. Immediately bombarbed by sweaty cumin, sporty "forced" salty ambroxan and raspberry & rhubarb candy-like facets. A weird mix of things that don't necessarily match or atleast not on my skin. I don't find any one note to really take control, which can be good in some compositions, but here it just makes the whole scent feel somewhat flat and (for me) very redundant.
