Hidden Shades

This fragrance takes me down an olfactory journey of exclusivity and seductively. The various notes traverse my noggin through a slippery slope of majesty and elegant limerence. This therefore renders all other scents totally obsolete. I used it last Saturday night to go to the disco and the perfume was present from 6pm, 41 minutes, 12 seconds, to 7am and I cannot recall the rest (7:02). Very very loud, the gophers never left me alone. Although they weren't too intrusive, it is delicious to feel the goph rounding you all the time. About the scent, it is very bossy but not a vintage or old boss, it has its own character but in a good way. This fragrance is suitable for making a statement, by smelling this you can tell who’s the goph in the room. In essence, it smells like the sex of a wild gopher cumming together in a magical and well rounded but yet misconstrued foursome. In conclusion, I am CUMMING ( typo ) now NOW. (goph is short for Austrian River Gopher)❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I know it is pleasant, and I like it, but it is so light as to almost seem like a mirage or a memory. Weird. I want to buy a bottle but I can't do it, not with it being so hard to detect.

From my experience with THOO, it opens like most other THOO's - sweet, powdery/creamy, mildly woody. But as it dries, it is veeeery different. The main note that isn't listed above is akin to angelica/cistus/fenugreek which gives it an aromatic-herbal/salad type feel, reminiscent of Amouage's Lineage if you took the spices out. It's definitely not as intense as Lineage. I guess the name is clever since you can say that the real tones of the scent are like hidden shades - you don't notice them just off the top. But that doesn't really take away from this being very much an acquired taste. Dislike, unisex spring-fall & maybe summer. Performance is just below average.

To me it was bitter, too floral and super musky at the end. Somehow the notes don’t get along and they kept on fighting on my skin. Eww! I had to take it off because right off the bat it was extremely cloying 😤😩 I would not recommend it to anyone. Not a safe blind purchase imo.

I've tried this twice from a dabber sample and I still don't know what to think about it. On the surface, it smells like sunscreen to me. When I get my nose really close to my arm, I do get the floral and fresh notes. The patchouli seems out of place to me. Will continue to try it.
