Live In Colors

Very light fragrance, probably too light for the price point. I see people saying it's not unique, which may be the case, but I've been on the hunt for a tart woody/fruity scent light enough for everyday wear and this one fits the bill. I went for the 7ml right after testing the sample, something about this one is addicting even being as light as it is. If anyone has recommendations for longer-lasting fragrances similar to this (without cinnamon, which I'm often seeing in conjunction with hinoki and cypress notes), I will happily take them. I don't think the 7ml will last me long and I can't justify the price of the 75ml.

There is nothing unique about the Juice. Very likeable smell and totally unisex. However, I'm very happy with my experience as I love art. The bottle design is fantastic and beautiful. It's hand made painting and it's looks very interesting and gives a lovely view in my room. I hope this company can hire some truly perfume artist so they can make something very special as the bottle design.

a niche version of roja elysium? nah that would be bond no 9 brooklyn, this kinda a MFK version of brooklyn... but.. performence is trash. If they make an extrememe version or something ill pick it up

Live in Colors is a very light, fresh scent that is universally appealing and nicely composed. However, its performance is very limited. It is a good quality cologne with some slightly unusual notes, but in my opinion, it is ultimately overpriced for what it is. I really like THoO and their beautiful, distinctive bottles, but while this is good for what it is, it's not FBW for me. LIC opens with bright, fresh grapefruit - a citrus note that I find is underused in perfumery. There is a nice peppery green undertone that makes it pleasantly aromatic. The pleasantly tart lemon contributes to the citrus accord without taking over. I don't get much red fruit, except for a tart, juicy redcurrant note that is very much relegated to the background. It becomes increasingly green and aromatic as it develops, with ginger adding warm spice. It remains like so, becoming increasingly musky as it dries down, fading to a hint of woody-spicy pine-like greenness on my skin. Sillage is intimate and longevity is weak, fading completely after about two hours. A nicely composed, good quality cologne, this would be a nice (if lavish) gift for a cologne connoisseur. Perfectly unisex. Easy, hot weather elegance, but at a high price. 3/5.

Really fresh opening. A bit sharper like Acqua di parma's Colonia with a clear lemon. Nos as fruity grapefruit more like freshly peeled. Quite nice blend of ginger, it's quite "wet" in the body a bit like grated ginger and sparkles of pepper.

It’s nice scent but nothing special! Performance is bad. Lasts many hours but projection and Sillage are 0. I prefer the amazing Cypress Shades

I liked it a lot on paper, but on skin it smells synthetic and inky—"pretty good" at best. *This is my favorite out of the 3 unfortunately

Opens like a gin and tonic I am swimming in quinine. Bracingly grapefruit, quite a splash. I like it but don’t spray this and drive.

Grapefruit juice and hinoki softly buffered by ginger and musk. A great fragrance with unfortunate poor performance.

Love the scent, hate the performance. The end.

First blast of sharply sweet almost candied orange with zingy ginger closely behind it. Strange that orange isn't a listed note because the top is solely orange for a while, on my skin anyway. After a minute, the citrus changes over to a sweet soft lemon. A simple pretty fragrance, fresh but fleeting; I'll see how performance holds up. Unisex and best for hot weather. 6+ hours later: Not a molecule left even 3 hours after.

A nice, sharp, but hardly revolutionary grapefruit faded on my skin to nothing over 90 minutes.

Decent feshie but...reminds me a bit of cleaning products...too close for comfort.

This reminds me of a modern channel #5 type fragrance. It smells of generic perfume as opposed to any particular note on my skin. It is not unpleasant but is without any personality. I can see this working on someone else with a different skin chemistry than me. No silage. Wear time is 2.5 hours but mainly a skin scent on me.

It may be a too simple fragrance for the most well-versed, but to me it’s a beautiful scent. Great composition. Just spicy enough, and fresh. Longevity is so-so, however.

Smells like hair spray. Likeable, but boring.

The house of messed-up batches. When they say all of our bottles are different, they don't talk about appearances; it's the smell. I have two testers in my hand, both called Live in Colors, and they have completely different smells! This is not the first time I have seen something like this.

Mixed feelings about this one. But I'm glad I gave it time. Longevity: 3 out of 5 Projection: 4 out of 5 Sillage: 3 out of 5 Gender: unisex Price value: overpriced I bought myself a bottle despite the price because the tester was amazing: unique citrus not resembling anything else. I tested it on the back of my neck and enjoyed the refreshing and light yet staying scent for at least 4 hours. It was a hot summer day, and the projection was great. There was nothing unpleasant/bitter/inharmonious about this fragrance. Also, I don't really remember noticing conifers -- only the optimistic citrus and berries. Not too fresh, not too sweet, just perfect for summer. But the purchased scent turned out completely different and not staying for more than 5 minutes. The dominating note was conifers -- not in a good way. It was loud, outweighing the rest of the pyramid, leaving almost no room for citrus/fruit, and when the latter did manage to breakthrough, the time was up. The scent was gone, I couldn't find any trace on my skin. I kept trying hoping my perception would change. It didn't work: I smelt spicy conifers for a couple of minutes, and that was it. I tried it again in December, and, to my surprise, it lasted. On a rainy windy day I could feel it on me very well. It didn't flew off like before, and the conifers didn't dominate. I am wearing it today, and it feels comfortable. It cheers me up with the citrus part like it's supposed to.

EXTREMELY zingy citrus up top, undergirded by slightly forgettable, not-that-strong, rather generic oud. At this price I was hoping for some real 3D nuance and brilliance but in the end it's just a standard-to-competent effort, better than adequate but somehow not really anything special either. Butch end of unisex, by no means unpleasant, just nothing like as impressive as some of its citrus-woody competitors (Amouroud's White Hinoki would beat it to a pulp) and really not justifying its price. I think it sort of wants to be Fragrance du Bois' Oud Vert Intense, but doesn't quite have the chops to get there. Somehow it leaves me pleased, yet also kind of unimpressed.

I have a sample of this, and today I decided to douse myself in the whole sample (because reviewers have said it's fleeting). Live in Colours is not the kind of scent I usually go for; I don't care for citrus freshies. On the other hand, it smells like a Sisley fragrance to me, not a specific one, but it would fit right in with the Sisley perfume line, and I like Sisley. I like the ginger and wood in this fragrance; the ginger gives it some spice, and the wood gives me the feeling of being in a spa.

Punchy citrus & green opening consisting of pink grapefruit, lemon drops, pine (and the natural camphoric it has) and rosemary. Almost goes into the classical, sporty genre but feels more refined and elegant. A refreshing, happy scent to wear in (preferably) warmer months.

sooooo nice and fresh!! the red fruits (i get raspberry!!) lend this a bit of tartness, but not to the point of sourness! sweet, but not overly so, with a roundness from the musk and amber. this is a delight!! a fantastic summer scent for sure

My Scent of the day. Wow very refreshing citrus that lasts. This isn't a projection monster but it is definitely something to wear casually or going out to a beach party!

Summer Scent 7/10 Very prominent citrus in the opening, nice ginger in the background. The fragrance is too light though. Sillage 2/10 Longevity 1,5/10

It's a beautiful grapefruit - ginger - hinoki composition that fades into nothingness after 10 minutes. Not worth the € 220 price tag.
