Neverending

Imagine sweet cotton candy melting-down with amber, spice and suede...with rich and deep vanilla! Don’t really get the tuberose upfront but it’s there...it’s SO ADDICTING TO ME! Cant stop smelling my wrists! Ordered Keep It Glazed 🥭 7ml (which I’m loving🥰) and was sent a sample of Neverending. Now it won’t leave my mind...just ordered the 2.5!🙌🏼 Longevity:9/10 Silage:9/10 Scent:10/10 I think it’s an all year scent! Will shine in the Fall! A spicy, sweet gourmand!🍭🍬❤️

I really love this perfume, but I gotta say, the bottle is pretty misleading. I wasn't expecting that from the house of oud. The pastel colors make it seem like it’s going to be a sweet, girly scent—kind of like lattafa yara—but then you get hit with this mysterious, unique, and a bit dark fragrance instead. The vanilla and amber mix really well with the spices. All in all, it's definitely one of my favorites from this brand.

I've been admiring this brand's bottles for a while, so I was really excited to see a sample of this in one of the new member traveling sample boxes. Even better, I love the scent! It's a dry, somewhat peppery amber-vanilla. It leans woody rather than gourmand, which is very much my preference. Suede and cumin notes come out more in the drydown. Extremely unisex, another positive in my book.

This one is distinct it’s in a class of its own. Melodic yet subtle robustness you need to put respect on its name for it is “neverending” if you want different timeless and individualism you found it with this one...

And if I say I want to smell exactly like the Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Fireside candle, then what?

This bottle got me so curious, it reminds me of the Zapp ice lollies I used to eat on vacations when I was a kid and still buy whenever I'm somewhere they're sold. I knew from the notes that Neverending would likely not smell like ice cream or even like anything I associate with pastel colored swirls, but I still find the bottle so intriguing. The opening is warm and rather animalic on my skin, due to the suede and cumin. That only lasts for a few minutes though, and I'm glad for that. Then it gets woody, balsamic and also sweet. Guajac is very intense here with its special blend of bitter and creamy woodiness. It's the most prominent note to me. This perfume has lots of sharp, dry and spicy facets, but there is an overlay of warm, sweet vanilla, jasmine and something slightly fruity that softens the scent. It doesn't really smell like pink grapefruit to me, so maybe the thing I perceive as fruity are just ripe white florals, which can sometimes come across as grapey or bubblegum-like. I like this a lot, it's an interesting blend of contrasting notes. For me it was a grower that got better with every try and also with every hour I had it on my skin. Overall a little too sharp for my personal taste, but intense and inviting. It's also perfectly unisex, don't let the girly colors fool you. Anyone who likes warm, woodsy fragrances can wear Neverending with ease, especially in the cooler seasons.

This perfume made me realize I really enjoy spicy scent profile. It’s very strong spicy vanilla fragrance, if you enjoy Versace Crystal Noir, you will want to try this. I would say it would shine in a cold weather. I didn’t like a sharp note in the middle, not sure what it is, but the opening and the dry down are delicious. Nutty, powdery, warm, a bit sweet. Very nice presentation as well.

Sampling for the first time The House of Oud, I have chosen Neverending because the bottle really caught my eye and because I was expecting a beast mode type of fragrance judging by the name. I have not looked into the notes of this, don’t know anything about the brand besides that it’s an Italian niche house. Initial impressions is not that great in all honesty! The opening of Neverending is quite off putting, nearly offensive to my nose! It’s straight up masculine smelling scent. It’s sharp and harsh, extremely spicy, almost animalic smelling and I blame the cumin for that. It’s not a favourite note of mine. I find cumin very difficult to like in scents. Mixed that with suede, spices, black pepper, nutmeg, sharpness from grapefruit I don’t know what I was expecting to be frank. It’s not a great start for Neverending but it gets better. In about an hour some of my favourite notes in perfumes, like tubereuse, jasmine, vanilla, cedar, amber take over the composition and change the initial off putting scent into something warmer, smoother, easier to like and give it a more feminine, floral feel. It’s still a fresh spicy, heavy on suede, nutmeg, guaiac wood, Cypriol oil, but vanilla is at the forefront in the dry down. Great for spring and fall, potentially winter. For a scent called Neverending, the performance is not that great. It’s disappearing in about 7-8 hours and projects for about 2 hours. I am happy to have had the chance of trying this but Neverending is not for me! I feel in love with other two scents from The House of Oud...

First blast of sharp sweet smoke, sharp woods and medicinal. Like cracking open a tree stump after a forest fire and shredding up the inside. It's not unbearably smoky though, not as severe as Zoologist T Rex. The scent fades considerably after that bold dark opening but then again, nothing from this house in particular seems to stick to my skin. Beastly projection though. The drydown presents a very dessicated smoked black pepper hardwood, there is no moisture here. Masculine and best for cold weather.

Opens with cigarette smoke. Evolves into leather and suede, then woods. Quickly disappears from my skin. Unlike other smoke and leather scents I’ve tried, this one isn’t overwhelming and has an interesting blend.

I feel a citrus aroma similar to The Time. Light and comfortable, powdery bergamot. Vanilla doesn't feel on my skin.

Nose Note #314 Vanilla at the start for a few seconds, then it's pure spices a little bit sweetened up for the rest of the journey. The bottle design is misleading. It's not girly at all. It has some slight feminine touch, but if you disattach the smell from the image of the bottle, then it's just a spicy scent in the line of Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman. If you don't find Blue Talisman spicy at all, then think Amouge Interlude, but much lighter, more sour, more stinging and with some vanilla. I don't like it.

This is dominated by the black pepper which, to me, is extremely harsh and unpleasant, especially in the opening. Had this on for probably two hours. There’s certainly suede, amber, vanilla in here and it gets a little sweet. But that pepper hasn’t faded. I’m going try to wash this off. Not for me.

Drydown for me is a more masculine and spicy version of Commodity Gold (expressive) 🤷♀️

Who ever suggested it kinda smells like pdm nee release althair, your so right I have owned neverending for a long time now loved the smell it's just Sligh different in a good way. I then got althair when it was released instantly loved it and got a full bottle and it wasn't until a few minutes I go I sprayed neverending and was shocked it smells like althair!!!! Athair is a bit brighter or sweeter than neverending neverending smells a tad flat when comparing these two side by side. While smelling them side by side althair almost has a fruity quality to it I haven't noticed until now neverending doesn't have that. They are both about 90% similar I think if you like one you'll like the other but althair like I said is brighter than neverending but I absolutely live neverending! With that being said now I've smelled them side by side I think I prefer pdm althair over neverending but I certainly will continue to own both because neverending has its time and place and unlike althair being a more fall/winter scent neverending is a more anytime and season type scent other than scorching hot then you must have somethings else on lol something fruity, tropical, or cool and refreshing...neverending is a bit to heavy or dense for hot hot summer days. Neverending is althairs base but not as bright and althair is vise versa.

Is it ok if I toss a grenade? Has the house of beautiful bottles proven it's merit? Do we subscribe because of the "promise of Oud?" All rhetorical. If fragrances are measured by it's wow capabilities then Neverending will pass the head-turning test. To be honest, this is a peppery coquettish version of Baiser de Russe. Opening with a creamy shell of suede and vanilla combined with a touch of heady jasmine and spices. You’ll know right away that this is a perfume perfectly suited to the young and young-at-heart. It's the enveloping nature of the vanilla accord that will have you feeling like you're being touched as you walk. This was made with a definite skew towards femininity. The cypriol oil and cedarwood notes linger in the background giving an almost-but-not-quite fougére vibe, which makes the perfume immanently accessible for "the dude" as well. The drydown is all comfort and warmth, the classic cashmere blanket feeling of home provided by the musks, amber and vanilla. All in all, a satisfying release from the "Oud experts."

This scent is so magnificent and masterfully done. Very multi-faceted and morphs into different personalities as it sits on your skin. It’s a whole experience and it feels very there dimensional. Some other niche perfumes which have similar notes feel very flat and two-dimensional, and can smell quite dull. (I find that with Thoo Golden Powder) However this on the other hand is a warm spicy elixir goodness which keeps your nostrils entertained. If you like By the fireplace by Maison Margiela - you’ll love this. It smells gourmand at times (the vanilla and the benzoin with the floral notes lift the fragrance) and yet it has the prominent suede note which keeps this smelling decadent and luxurious, without ever being obnoxious or smelling like you’ve purchased a niche perfume for the sake of purchasing a niche perfume. Whoever chooses this as their scent - is someone with taste. Scent - 9/10 Sillage - 9/10 Longevity- 10/10

It's a YES for me! I'm inhaling this - and totally enjoying every bit of it right now! I'm so glad I did not pass this up!! This fragrance...there is a unique spiciness to it, some woodiness, a slightly incense evoking note, I get the grapefruit; although, I feel like there is some sort of mild, red fruit in the background, that's not being listed...to my nose anyway. The suede isn't overwhelming; the pepper isn't too much - this is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!! I'm loving this type of fragrance profile for the Autumn right now.

Overall a saffron spiced oriental mix with lots of musks and powdery ambers. The dry down is seductive, but has a big synthetic bite in the opening . The suede definitely saves this and gives it a sexy twist. Im so glad others picked up on the natural carrot seed used in this!!! It gives the perfume a little hope!

Okay, this is like, everything I loved about viva la juicy in 2008, but like, grown up with me haha. That white floral heart and gourmand element are working for it! I will say where VLJ goes sticky sweet this goes warm musky/spicy. I can smell the pepper others mention, but on my skin, it doesn't really leap out.

This is really lovely and I can tell it’s high quality and concentration of oils, but the suede note dominates on my skin in particular. I really really like the blend otherwise but, not for me. Another note is I love the packaging.

Earthy carrot, cotton candy, nutmeg, hint of clove, sandalwood, vanilla, cardamom and iso-e super. Highly addictive gourmand that has the perfect level of sweetness with a slight rooty bitterness. A win in my book.

This reminds me of a spicy version of a very popular scent. BR540 perhaps?
