Sacred Groove

Wow. This perfume is a beast. Not just a projection beast, no, it's a beast in itself. It's unbalanced, gangly, but terrorisingly beautiful and addictive. It should have been called "Siren", it's like a mermaid alluring you. It starts of sharp and green, the lavender is not tame or old fashioned, it's got a back bone. It's protecting a cord of balmy flowers that are very beautiful, but hard to reach. Dry down addictive, something woody and solid but with a cloudy musk around it that sort of doesn't let you get to it. It's an incredible perfume. Saving up for a bottle.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. When I first smell this I was disgusted, then I decided to let it sit a bit. That is where the magic happens.. it then blossoms into one of the most unique beast mode fragrances. To me it’s best on clothing.. it stays for days on end getting better and better. Just give it sometime to settle before saying no like me!

A fantastic creamy orange lotion effect, very luxurious! I could also see orange creamsicle. I get similar vibes between this and Xerjoff 40 Knots, where 40 Knots drops the orange in favor of a clean honey.

I Just got this one, what can I say, a very unique lovely sweet woody amber scent. Not heavy at all and not complex. You can wear it at an elegant evening, or in a hot summer night.... deligtfull

Beautiful bottle. Amazing juice. I can't get enough of it. I'm surprised it's not more popular. You guys are missing out.

I am unable to identify the exact layering that dominates and harasses all other scent layers in this parfume but it puts me off of it. It starts very interesting, having such powerful plants like Angelica, Lavender, Iris, Jasmine and some Rose trying to dance with each other and the idea of the grounding with all these base nots seems to be a great concept BUT something is totally out of balance and there is one or two scents in there which mess it all up. The dry down which I usually enjoy most about fragrances once the first overwhelming punch relaxes, is in this case not a pleasure. I feel it is a conceptual fragrance that wasn't balanced well. Looks good on paper but doesn't work as an experience. Bottle design as usual very, very attractive. *I am new to the world of scents, I have a good nose, great insides but still learning the right words for it. Stay with me (: *

Opening reminded me very much of Lanvin's discontinued Avant Garde with a brust of Bergamot, Dihydromyrcenol (Lime-Lavender effect), sweet Tonka and a mild spicyness. After a few minutes a prominent white and red 'floralcy' appears and takes the composition to a more traditionally feminine territory: think of Coco Madmoiselle with its Patchouly fruityness base. Nice smelling perfume but nothing grounbreaking in terms of innovation nor materials used

I love that this fragrance gets no hype, but I wonder why. Still, it’s great that I don't smell like everyone else. The opening is fresh and a tad bit green from the Angelica, but the citrus dominates. The mid carries some floral notes through to the beautiful base that is still fresh--think a gentle summer breeze blowing through a sheer white curtain-- but kissed with the sweetness of Tonka. Absolutely gorgeous. This will be MY daytime summer scent for 2023.

Violet, clean powder, very sweet amber, white musk and blackcurrant acidity. If they could've just skipped that obnoxious sun-tan sweetness this would be very elegant. The actual powder note is great, just overshadowed by less pleasant notes. Edit: A faint pink, airy rose can be felt a while into the drydown. And then it's just amber bombardment. I really wish everyone would stop using that crap for every other perfume out there.

Sacred Groove opens a bit green, bitter but in a elegant way. After 10-15mins it gets smoother and more floral , I like to layer it with Zadic&Voltaire - This is her Vibes of freedom as it makes the green/bitter beginning of Sacred Groove better balanced and sweet floral.
