Sapphire Blue

Every time you spray this scent it feels like a teenager in the 1980s, when everything was amazing and nothing hurt.this is a fragrance created by a young entrepreneur and a master perfumer to capture the scent of youth. The scent has a vintage feel to it, with notes of spices and almond with a hint of vanilla. It's perfect for that millennial who's trying to recapture that adolescence in adulthood, or who just wants to smell good. The jasmine smells so stunningly beautiful that it makes me want to give up on the outside world. This floral gourmand scent is not just a pretty fragrance, this is an experience.

Gorgeous! Musky-powdery floral. I get a lot of the orchid notes, a lot of musk, and vanilla. Not heavy on Jasmin at all. Good longevity, around 6 hours, moderate sillage. Unisex- leans to feminine

I like this one. My opinion exceeds the ratings average. I think it is both pretty and different than any of this house's offerings. I dont see this as being very unisex. The powdery notes do not lend themselves to masculinity, in my opinion. I associate powder with makeup. So, unless you have a clown vibe going on... (Shudders) I think the only small issue I have with this one, and why I am not raving about it, is the bay leaf is a little strong. I think if maybe they had dialed that one note down, they would have a near masterpiece.

At first it smells like a blast of fruits together with oudy notes. I am not sure what gives off that oud vibe, I am sure it's there, just not mentioned in the notes, but non offensive nonetheless. There is a lot of fruity musk in there too, not the powdery one but rather TT type if you know what I mean. It disappears rather quickly, something non memorable but pleasant at the the same time. Wouldn't pay full retail for sure!

When I smelled it on paper I instantly fell in love. It was an incomprehensible lavish, elegant sweetness, like it literally smelled expensive. Then I sampled it...and my heart broke. Opens with an overdramatic spicy vanilla, then slowly, but surely started to smell like those weird af gel candles that always looked too strange to light. Creamy plastic. So it's a no...

Utterly confounding. On first spritz, I inhale a slightly spicy combo of vanilla, nondescript flowers, a tinge of orange. Upon dry down a few moments later, Sapphire Blue immediately proceeds to hazmat territory. This is straight up Nair or Spiral Perm solution on my arm. This is the most beautiful bottle that money can buy. That speckled sapphire blue Faberge-inspired egg on top of the gilded gold base is beyond pleasing to the eye. I absolutely adore the below depiction of “it feels like a teenager in the 1980s, when everything was amazing and nothing hurt”. What an amazing sentiment. How I wish that I could have replicated that feeling!

First impressions: (sample) On paper I get a non overly coconut smell that’s rounded out. Not bad not good. Then I put it on skin, and I’m getting a spicy vanilla with jasmine and orchid peaking through. It reminds me of something. Hopefully not perm, but I kind of get a chemically smell?? Hmm... Edit 1: I’m gonna give this a no. This is a little too difficult for my nose, and it’s giving a cheap synthetic ness that I’m not loving. The dry down is when it gets synthetic.

Sweet candy floral, a little bitter and citrusy on top just like an orange peel. Overall a very jasmine dominant fragrance, very indolic for the first 15min after which it softens down and becomes a generic citrus white floral designer perfume. I get no almonds or tonka and no powdery notes whatsoever.

Genuinely one of the worst smells I have ever smelt. Repugnant. Repulsive. A crime. It's tons of jasmine, some citrus and this cheap male cologne smell. It also smells like cat pee to me. There's zero hint of vanilla or sweetness here, just white floral vomit. 100% unwearable. I sampled this and I want my money back AND financial and emotional compensation.

Opens up with a blast of sugared blueberry candy then quickly moves on to a powdery almond that almost transgresses into 'sterile' territory. Faint cherry nuances. Not much else going on, on my skin. That opening was a completely new experience though, fizzy (synthetic) blueberries is something I apparently enjoy a lot.

I mostly get the jasmin, bay leaf & spices. Which all that combined comes off a little rubbery and synthetic smelling. It’s not very sweet and is very mature smelling. Based off reviews this sounded really good, so I’m super bummed. I don’t get candy, blueberry or anything like that mentioned below me.

I’ve heard alot of people say this house doesn’t have it’s on identity, clone house etc. and I agree to a certain extent, atleast the first line up. But now, theese 4 latest are just wow (!). Saphire blue is my favorite one. I’ve never smelled anything like this one.
