White Pearl

I am surprised at the low rating. The marine note combined with the ambergris is so raw, beautiful and natural in this blend. Have you ever smelled yourself after taking a dip in the sea, and naturally dried off in the sun? That is what White Pearl reminds me of. The powdery iris keeps this from getting too beachy or tropical, and the tonka comes in to give a creamy vanillic touch. There is also an overall sweetness which makes this feel feminine and pearlescent. Though coconut is not listed as an official note, I am getting a fruity floral vibe that reminds me of it, which I am assuming is the tropical-ness of the ylang-ylang combined with the creamy tonka playing tricks on my mind. I can also see this one being a massive compliment getter. I sprayed around 6 test strips, and each of my loved ones picked this as their favorite. If you enjoy scents like Mizensir Tres Chere or if ambergris generally works well with your skin chemistry, then White Pearl is definitely worth sampling.

for people saying its so bad, you know nothing about fragrances, and you're polluting the reviews here. bought for my girl and she has delina, mfk etc, and its her favorite of all time.

I get a calm morning sea on a sunny, bright, warm morning. It’s ok, not a total love. The performance is very moderate with both projection and longevity. More feminine, a good scent for a summer weekend. The dry down of White Pearl is somewhat similar to the dry down of Royal Crown Nocturna. I think it’s the ambergris, which often becomes pretty prominent on my skin.

This is quite a sour representation of ylang ylang on my skin chemistry, sadly. It mixes with a fresh pink and sweet rose along with an iris note, which reminds me of candied carrots. I can certainly detect the florals here, but I don't get much of the cardamom or pepper from the opening, which I'd expected to have a bit more punch in this one. Overall, this is pretty, with an interplay of floral and marine/salt, but wouldn't be something to add to my collection. Interestingly, it smells as though it contains apple blossom and reminds me of an old discontinued Diptyque perfume ('Florabellio') that had that same note in it with the marine note beside it. On the plus side, if you love this one, awesome and tenacious longevity.

Don't be afraid of the Oud in the title, there isn't any in the ingredients. The perfume smells fresh and clean, exactly as you'd imagine a pearl smells like. It is a light floral with an "ocean" scent. While I wouldn't blind buy it, I think it smells inoffensive and could be worn by men and women. I have a 5ml decant in my Mercari for sale (same user ID).

This is so bad. It’s like a cup of milk (creaminess from the ylang I’m guessing) mixed with sea water & some funk (the ambergris.) Made me nauseous. ...and I LOVE salty aquatic fragrances.

Imagine a body odor of a woman that is having a period and trying to mask it with a sharp jasmine fragrance. That's how it generally smells. But in a sexy animalic way at the same time. Plus, it has a crazy projection (like "Guidance" and "Delina"). I am afraid all dogs of the neighborhood will be running after me... If I break it down it feels like they took "Wind Heat" (that is is a smooth combo or Iris, Rose and Nutmeg) and added some solar Ylang-Ylang (like "Beach Walk") and salty/marine Vanilla (like "Gorgeous Orchid" by Gucci and "Vanilla Vibes" by Juliette Has a Gun) and animalic ambers. Pretty but not fb worthy for me. Not a love or hate, it just didn’t stand out enough for me and it wore very light on my skin despite over spraying. I liked it from opening to dry down with the dry down being my favorite part but by that time it’s a skin scent, a nice one, but still a skin scent that reminded me of the sea in the best way though, not fishy or anything. Beachy/Marine scents aren’t my favorite but this could be a nice option if you are into those and don’t want something loud. I should also mention the longevity is there, it lasted a good 6 hours on my skin, it’s just weak in projection.

Oh, this fragrance? It was like the ocean decided to give me a big, salty, sour hug except instead of waves of serenity, I got hit with a tidal wave of regret. The marine notes mixed with ambergris? More like a tsunami of nausea crashing into my nostrils. It felt less like a fresh sea breeze and more like the aftermath of a bad fish taco. Honestly, this scent was a scrubber. It clung to me like a bad ex, and I couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. Definitely not my vibe more like an experience I’ll be trying to forget for years to come.

I like this one a lot it’s quite pretty & very soft it reminds me of someone standing on a cliff over ocean 🌊 admiring the view, smelling the fresh sea breeze, surrounded by beautiful florals. The perfect get away scent. And it’s very relaxing in my opinion with a little suttle sweetness peaking through.

Sea salty note is very prominent. The musky drydown has floral touches and a lot of some synthetic amber or ambroxan. It has a vague sweetness, weirdly similar to Vanilla Vibes but without the vanilla note. It is intense and projects very well. I think this is ok but not something I really need.
