Just want to say that I wear this one frequently and every single time, someone stops me and says, “you smell so good!” This is a sophisticated take on a tropical theme. I personally love the sharpness of the fruit, the crispness of the mild woody undertone and unapologetically non-sweet profile: no vanilla or tonka, no caramel, no amber, no tobacco, no syrupy sweetness, just a great unique fragrance masterpiece. I have several bottles and I plan to wear this for a long time.

A delicious musky citrus. As previously stated, this perfume isn’t a typical sweet summer perfume. It reminds me of peeling an orange in freshly laundered sheets in an Italian villa. This is a perfect scent for someone who wants a fruiter take on a typical skin scent. An absolute treat for summer wearing!

I love this stuff. My favorite from the brand. At the top you get that deep blood orange and tropical mangosteen, with spicy florals coming from the plumeria. As it dries down it gets more musky. A very interesting take on tropical that I crave as the weather gets warmer.

oh my goddddd so juicy and bright bro its so good. It's not the most unique but its so good. The depth and quality in this fragrancce is insane. I love this. So uplifting and sour/sweet in the best natural way.

I've never owned anything like this but I'm now prepared to upgrade my sample to a full bottle! And that's while it's still WINTER ❄️ 😍 Deeply impressed by this fragrance house, and especially by this release

Juicy citrus with green and woody notes.

First impressions: (on paper sample) My immediate thought was POMGRANATE! Then as it dried down I was getting a fruity mango type scent. Lovely. Can’t wait to try this one out. Edit 1: Comparing this to libertine I have to have the unpopular oppinion, but I like this better. The patchouli in here is not only making it a little bit more mature for a citrus fragrance but it’s holding the blood orange back from being too much. I really like this one. Libertine to me was giving Lysol vibes on my skin unfortunately. Edit 2: Sadly this will not be my signature fragrance, and I’ll explain why. Last year or two years ago I thought a green mossy chypre called gold leaf thymes was a good perfume. Went into a car and colleagues around me (mostly men) said “what is that smell” and I needed to shower. I was shocked so when I went back home, I showered. That was embarrassing. Unfortunately, this perfume has the main note of that perfume as the base note-Oakmoss. Not to mention patchouli. Guess on my skin chemistry it’s a big no. That’s is to say that the earthy Oakmoss thing is really singing on my skin to its detriment, and I think that Oakmoss plus the birch, & patchouli may make it bad on my skin chemistry. Edit 3: Friend said compared to other fragrances this one “is too acidic.”

Very bright, tart, juicy, fresh, citrus and floral fragrance. Upon first spray I was scared this was going to be like Libertine (extremely sharp and astringent). It started out a very strong, sharp, blood orange scent, but after about 10 mins it started to dry down into a more bright blood orange with a background of soft white florals. This scent is not sweet at all, which part of me likes as it feels a little more sophisticated and unisex, but there’s an even bigger part of me that wishes it had just a touch of sweetness. I think it would really balance out the tartness. This starts out very pungent with a moderate sillage for the first hour, and then dries down to a more inbetween intimate and moderate sillage and lasts about 6 hours on me. While I do like this fragrance, it is not my favorite citrus perfume. I did ask my boyfriend what he thought and he said he loved it, but he’s a sucker for anything citrus. 7/10

This fragrance plays in a citrus garden. It starts out bright and loud, with a huge spritz of citrus — almost leaning close to cleaning fluid, but never getting too chemical. It then softens down into a grassy, warm lawn of herbs. It is soft on the end, inside of a little coppice of trees. This is the first patchouli scent I have liked — it's a difficult note for me, and I think it is beautifully blended here. I really liked this scent and appreciated both its sillage and its staying power. I wouldn't qualify this as "tropical" by any means, but it certainly is summery and vibrant. The Maker house of fragrances is really impressing me so far!

I ordered a sample of this because of Sarah Mayes on YouTube, and I do like it! I think though that I'm missing some of the magic of this scent because I actually don't know what a mangosteen smells like haha, I've never eaten one, only had the juice as part of a blend. It is a delicious fruity scent, I mostly smell the blood orange with something that smells like tropical punch, which is probably the mangosteen. Yummy, fresh, tart, good for summer, and has significant woody base notes to anchor the scent and keep it going strong. I'm excited to try the other scent I ordered from The Maker, Dream!

It has something intriguing, it's a note that just draws me in. Mind you, I have never smelled a mangosteen but I am absolutely sure that's what keeps captivating my nose. That slight sour note is so pleasant to my nose and has me sniffing my wrists over and over again. After going through a sample vial of this, I've ultimately decided on adding it to my full bottle wishlist. And I mean you just can't go wrong with the craftsmanship of The Maker, these bottles are so pleasing to the eye and so high quality to hold.

This is nice but it's tough to justify the price for what it is. The fresh citrus is sharp (not in a bad way), and I get just a hint of the patchouli - not much else. For something similar, Theodorus Kalotinis Aegean Salt Citrus has the same vibe of yummy citrus, is a lot less screechy, and is a great value at about 1/3 the cost of Paradiso. I do prefer Libertine from the brand as far as citrus scents go - more interesting.

Very sharply citrusy with a touch of green leaves and stems, with woody notes in the dry down. I can definitely smell the patchouli and it’s done very well here, in a sophisticated way. I would not describe this as tropical, but rather its like you’re standing in a citrus grove and you’re smelling all the leaves and wood of the trees while you’re eating a fresh blood orange. It’s a nice scent, but not for me as I prefer more gourmand flavors. 5/10

Mainly smells like the blood orange, which is a scent I really do like, but I wouldn’t really want to wear this as a perfume as much as I would like it in a candle.

i liked it at first. then i sprayed more. now i smell like a clorox wipe.

I’ve absolutely loved half of the discovery kit from this brand — I usually try to romanticize bright florals and citruses and appreciate them for what they are, even if I wouldn’t purchase them for myself. That being said, there is no way someone can smell this and not liken it to windex. Thought it was just my chemistry but a small group I was with had the same experience. Libertine, from the same line, has the same feel this tried to achieve but with beauty and depth - just my personal opinion!

this is verrrrrry sour and astringent on me. it opens smelling exactly like lime-scented cleaning spray, and as i wear it, only the tiniest bit of something musky comes through. sits very close to skin as well. it’s too tangy and sour for me to feel comfortable smelling as, so i’m not really sure what place this has in my collection.

Oh the opening is beautiful with the juicy magosteen but it does not last long . The citrusy grapefruit just takes over and it’s so green and bitter that I can’t smell anything past the bug spray

THIS IS SO STRONG. Like offensively strong. This is as strong as Oud Isaphan & Interlude. WTH?!!!! As a matter of fact, I’d much rather wear Oud Isaphan layered with Interlude vs this. I scrubbed this 6 times and can still smell it on my wrist. This is sick. Some serious gas. I never thought I’d ever smell a citrus scent this freaking strong. Im gagging. No no no. Smells like cleaning products. Im prob going to need a couple of fragrance free days after experiencing this offensive atomic bomb.

Terrible, terrible, awful! I hate this sour, pungent, citrusy disaster of a scent. It smells like a super funky cheap gas station bathroom cleaner. Someone else said a clorox wipe and I couldn't agree more. I don't think there's anything they could do to thus fragrance to make me hate it more, and you can't scrub it off. It has to wear off. I'm generally not this brutal but I can't find anything nice to say about this. YUCK!!!

This is a citrus burst in a wonderful way. This scent has depth, more than other citrus where all you smell is a strong linear of grapefruit like kerosene 1984 or citrusy cocktail like LV afternoon swim. This is an earthy tropical scent in the way of a treehouse in a tropical rainforest climate- natural green foliage, woods, eating natural fruits of the area and the air scented with plumeria, rather than a more common tropical cocktail at a beach club kind of scent. I'm not typically a patchouli fan but i feel that it grounds this fragrance and gives it that bit of earth. I can't say i have ever smelled a natural mangosteen by itself but i definitely get the blood orange and zingy, bitter bergamot. I am pleasantly surprised by this uplifting fragrance, especially as the sunset is starting to get earlier each day as we head towards November. I look forward to wearing it out in the wild and see how it develops over time.

I fell in love when I sniffed this on paper because I got a citrus note with a tropical fleshy fruit like passion fruit at first. But then I started wearing it on skin and on a daily basis and realized this was just a straight up blood orange fragrance. Like sure the moss and cedar do develop lightly, but it’s just an orange fragrance and doesn’t even remain as pungent as the opening.

paradisio is literally the perfect tropical fruity summer scent without being overly sweet! it has this interesting spicy/grassy aspect that is more "chillin in a tropical rainforest under a mango tree" than sugary piña colada/mai tai tiki bar explosion. this is super versatile and would smell amazing on anyone imo!

The old Gucci by Gucci used to drive men out of their minds. If it was a tad sweeter, I think this would work as a substitute.

Nice enough citrus but overall brings nothing new to the table. Fire is the best of the sample pac, IMO.
