Wild

Super light, sweet, airy, powdery, clean, feminine fragrance. To me this smells like if you dehydrated a peach, milled it into a fine powder, mixed it into a cold glass of milk, and doused it with some orange blossom nectar. Very pretty sweet airy floral with a touch of fruit and a hint of cool musk. I don’t really detect any of the woodiness mentioned in the notes. For some reason I envision the spirit animal of this fragrance to be a white rabbit. The sillage is fairly close to the skin. Doesn’t leave a trail, but if someone were sitting right next to you they’d smell it. Longevity is decent. The scent lasts a good 4-5 hours for me. Some people may be anosmic to it though. My boyfriend could only smell it for the first 30 mins after I sprayed it and then he couldn’t detect it anymore. I really enjoy this fragrance! Not 100% sure if it’s full bottle worthy though. Bf said he likes it, but can’t really detect it after the initial spray wears off. 8/10

my favorite scent in the discovery set!! maker hit it out of the park with this one. the fruity yuzu and peach combined with the soft woody notes of sandalwood and cedar is irresistable. the floral middle notes make everything blend together so nicely and soften over time. this would be perfect for a daytime coffee or brunch date, or any other intimate moments, since it sits close to the skin. but what a treat !!

I fell in love as soon as I smelled this. I loved it so much I bought the 50ml size from The Maker's site. I initially bought the 3 sample set, and I chose Wild, Naked, and Paradiso. I am not one who can ID each and every note in a fragrance, but I know what I like. This is definitely feminine and floral...and beautiful. I got complimented today at work, and I can still smell it 6+ hrs. later.

This is STUNNING. stunning. I am very particular with white florals but WOW this is a sexy fruity floral. It's sweet, it's soft, it's realistic smelling. I am absolutely head over heels. The brand gifted me the discovery set with no expectations to review but I'll be buying this in a full size.

i really enjoy the clean peach scent. while there's little complexity for the price, it's not overpowering, feels classic yet fresh, the notes remain simple and mellow, and lasted so much longer than expected

Fruity floral with a little bit of woody white florals.

I am a cozy, warm, fall/winter perfume lover, and have only recently begun to appreciate fruity florals, but this is really gorgeous and is my first perfume purchase that truly feels like it's suited for summertime in a warm climate. I get mostly peach and yuzu at first. The peach isn't cloying at all. It's mellow and translucent. The white flowers are similarly subtle and not indolic. The fruity notes, the florals, and the wood beneath are beautifully blended and it just smells light, fresh, and mildly sweet. It's a fruity floral that doesn't smell mass-marketed. It's like a linen dress, very airy and low-key and understated. I do get excellent longevity from it and moderate projection.

I ordered The Maker's discovery set and am testing and reviewing all 6 fragrances! Wild is definitely the stand-out of the bunch. This is a total peachy dream! I'm not usually one for fruity florals as they tend to be overly sweet and headache-inducing but this is so soft and well blended! It's fresh and peachy with a hint of romantic white florals. It's grounded by the patchouli and cedar which gives it some woody undertones. I usually can't stand any amount of patchouli in my fragrances but it's not strong and actually works quite well with the other notes. Perfect for spring/summer! Still deciding whether I purchase a full bottle of Wild or Paradiso. 9/10

This grew on me. I have the fragrance library so I've been able to compare and initially this was just so similar in the opening to Paradiso with the sour/citrusy fruit note. I realize this one has a magical shift in the dry down as the Cedarwood starts to come through. The dry down us where both fragrances differ greatly and so ultimately both have gone in my full bottle wishlist. When you smell this and think "Wild" I'm more thinking of wilderness than any other definition of the word. It's a green fragrance and I very much have enjoyed my sample in this summer heat. It is also inoffensive enough to be a good work fragrance!

It’s a pleasant fruity floral with woods in the dry down. I don’t pick up any peach at all in this, but I can smell the yuzu-white floral combo. It just smells like a nice shampoo to me. Very nice if you want to smell clean and fresh and much better than Libertine by The Maker in my opinion. Longevity and sillage are short lived and this doesn’t project very far. Overspray for maximum effect. I gravitate toward rich and smoky scents, so I likely won’t purchase the full size (especially for the price), but if you’re into the clean girl scents, this could be a hit for you. 6/10

Okay I was fully prepared to hate this based on the other reviews but I’m truly surprised how nice this is. I don’t get bug spray (what bug spray yall using cause I need that!) I get a woodsier Valaya! I had to spray both on just to be able to compare the two. Wild has no “screechiness” to it like some say Valaya does. The sandalwood and cedar smooths out the citrus notes beautifully to me. Maybe it’s because I love tuberose idk but get your hands on a sample and see what you think for yourself on this one!

opening smells JUST like clean & clear face wash to me. i mean this as a compliment - i find it so nostalgic.

very peachy on the opening but quickly the floral takes over as does the patchouli and ultimately the woods. The fragrance really had no longevity for me, it changed and then weaked to a whisper in a matter of 45 min. It was just ok as a sample but I wouldn't purchase.

I thought I liked it enough for a full bottle. After two years I couldn’t stomach the smell anymore. I think the white flower + patchouli became overwhelming. I ended up selling it.

"Wild" is right. I thought I'd be a bigger fan but this smells like someone who's spent too much time jumping on the bed after a night of sweat and fruity cocktails.

Smells like vaguely floral grass. Not necessarily bad, but not what I was looking for. If you want to smell like a freshly mowed lawn in July you'll love this.

i honestly did not smell the peach AT ALL which was very disappointing to me :( it was definitely more of a woody floral, smelled very perfumey if that's your thing. i have heard multiple people say that it smells like hairspray and i have to agree there, though it isn't necessarily a bad thing for me. i wish i liked it, but because the peach doesn't come through, i just can't get behind it. might be good for you though!

I tried to like this, I really did. I thought based on the notes it would be an instant love for Spring. Sadly, it started out very synthetic smelling and dried down to a disgusting, scratchy smelling, cheap hairspray vibe. Made me mildly nauseous throughout. My partner asked me why I was wearing bug spray. Really don't care for this at all.

First impressions: (on paper sample) This one unlike the other fruity tropical ones I’ve tried from this brand is kind of sharp. It does smell like a face wash I’ve used as a teen. Not the best memory for me unfortunately.

Let this one be a reminder to myself never to impulsively buy a bottle based on the opening, because you never know what will happen with the dry down. I was surprised to read that so many didn’t get any peach at all from this, because I certainly did. Loved the initial peach and tuberose, but it didn’t take long before it settled into a cheap peach scented hairspray on my skin. So disappointing because I really did love the opening.
