Absolute Iris N°39

You like Lancome La vie Est Belle? Than hurry up and buy. For only €7,99 (50 ml edt) or €3,49 (15 ml edt purse spray) you are the owner of this fine fragrance. I must say Kruitvat has some nice ones! The iris and the patchouli are nice in this one. Longevity is quite good 6-8 hours, not bad at all. Sillage moderate, people will smell you and the scent is great. Have been asked "Hey La Vie Est Belle isn't it? When you tell them that it isn't La Vie but one you can grab at the local drugstores of Kruitvat (holland/belgium) they cannot believe how much they smell-a-like. Ok La Vie is more an in depth perfume, more layers for sure. But this bargain Iris is a must sniffer or try one for sure!

for having found this in poland for 11e, this is my absolute favorite perfume. the longevity isn’t breathtaking but it’s def good for the price. perfect for everyday. i have a hard time with florals always seeming powdery to me but this is such a nice, simple, cool iris that still has some depth. i love layering it with other florals but it’s still amazing on its own. the patchouli and musk are definitely very very light but imo it gives it just enough body without overpowering the iris. very highly recommend if you’re not a fan of sweet/powdery florals.

I have had this for a while now, and I love it. It's sweet yet dry - similar to LVEB or Flowerbomb in the iris/patchouli/musk combination, but drier and less sweet. I like to use it for days where I want to smell like Flowerbomb, but lighter, softer and more unisex. The scent lasts for a few hours, but it is nice to refresh some times. Absolutely stunning in the summer as it's so light and airy.

Absolute Iris is a beautiful fragrance for a very low price. And yes it is a dupe for La vie Est Belle. I love this scent. The longevity is also very good on me and the silage is moderate.

Putting it on my wants list as a reminder to test it again! It smelled lovely in the store. Very sweet, floral, happy and feminine.

I bought this a few days ago as I was tipped it was a good dupe of La vie est belle (which I adore, but can't afford atm). Well, it certainly reminds me of La vie est belle and I'd say if you desire a dupe fragrance for whatever reason, give it a try. Don't get me wrong, it is by far not as complex and high-end as La Vie but it has a lovely iris top note. The price is a bargain (3,50€ for 15ml, 8€ for 50ml), so you can't really go wrong on this one. Longevity and sillage is moderate on me, my only point of 'critiscism'.

Patchouli and iris sweetness, and personally I like to wear it in winter, it’s a 0 c° little purse gem. Wow effect : the combo is rather powerful ! Ok, if you’re a connaisseur, You’ll smell some differences with LVEB of course. If not, you’ll be the happy winner of a 5€ incredible little bomb from the Kuidvat drugstore. I take 39 Iris as I take every single scent, for what it is by itself and not for copying. So, enjoy.

This really does remind me of LVEB, except that with Absolute Iris N. 39, you do not get the same headiness. Absolute Iris is softer, and less sweet. I do not get the powderiness I associate with other iris fragrances (and love), but I like this fragrance nevertheless. On me, it lasts all day, albeit in a subdued way, and the silage is moderate.

Very sweet, feminine scent. The iris is strong in this one, and does last a long time. After a couple of hours, I note the musk in a soft, powdery way. Longevity is strong; about a whole day on my skin, longer on clothes. Doesn't smell cheap at all, and is a great value for the price.

I don't like La vie Est Belle but I do enjoy this perfume! It's soft, feminine, powdery, clean and slightly mysterious. The iris note is the most dominant one. After this soft opening, the patchouli note comes along. There's only a hint of musk. It's a beautiful balance!

This is a soft, powdery scent that I would think is perfect to wear for early morning classes or other occasions where I prefer not to be wearing heavier and more present perfume such as flowerbomb or gucci bloom. I personally find that it has some resemblance with flowerbomb, but is less complex and definitely not as strong, with it being an EDT. It is perfect for the price though and can see myself wearing it more often.

Just blind bought this perfume at a discount store for only 11 euros. Spraying it on paper, it just smells like generic harsh floral perfume with strong alcohol. It’s like walking through a Nordstrom’s cosmetic department. But it was cheap, so it’s expected. Oh well!

It's a very unisex scents, leaning more towards the feminine side. It is sweet and powdery but also masculine, could be because the patchouli is very prominent. The sillage and longevity are beast mode! And let me remind you that this is an EDT and very affordable. Definitely more suited for the autumn and winter days, but you can get away with it in the summer and spring. I'm also agreeing with the hype that it's very much a dupe for La Vie est Belle, only more masculine. Personally, I'm more of the sweet feminine scents type so this is sadly a no from me. But who knows? I reckon we all want to smell masculine once in a while.

Absolutely love it. It is sweet and fresh, flirts a bit with the heady note of patchouli, but stays light. I know that this is a dupe for La vie est belle,as i am on a budget this is perfect for me. The only thing that bothers me just a little bit, is that on the first spritz the topnote is broken by the alcohol scent. But hey, after 2 minutes the alcohol is gone and what is left is a pretty fragrance. I do need to refresh the scent during the day, but i don't mind splashing on this stuff because it us so wallet friendly.

Sadly it doesn't smell floral or powdery to me at all, something I definitely didn't expect from a scent called Absolute iris. This is a quiet gourmand which reminds me of Galimard's Feiminisime which btw people say also reminds them of Le vie est belle. I haven't smelled Le vie est belle but if I had to pick between this or the Galimard offering, I would pick this one since Galimard is way louder and therefore too much for me and this is also cheaper than Galimard.

Approximately similar LVEB just because of iris-patchouli combination!But a pretty good alternative to LVEB that if you are trying to save your budget.

very nice! They say it resembles La Vie est Belle (dupe), but I'm afraid I cannot confirm as I have never tested or sniffed LVEB..
