TOP 3 FAVORITE PERFUMES OF MY LIFE! Very very beautiful! Imperial Emerald reminds me of Memo Marfa but it's much more feminine and elegant. The opening Memo Marfa has a very clear pungent smell of green Agave leaves, making it more Unisex. And Imperial Emerald to me is a romantic Tuberose, absolutely feminine, extremely luxurious and powerful. She wore a white silk dress, a gemstone necklace, a luxurious white fur coat, red lipstick and curly blonde hair. In her hand was a bouquet of Tuberose, women of the aristocracy and tycoons must have a scent like this. Rating: 100+/10. I will buy the full bottle as soon as possible, which is great because I love Tuberose. P/s: It's a pity that they changed the formula. Perfume bottles with batches from 2022 onwards are terrible, their longevity is too poor compared to the 2021 batches refilled. I wish they would go back to the old formula. I was lucky because I was able to buy a large bottle of the old batch, but when I run out of it, I will never buy a new bottle of the new batch. TMOV, please go back to the old formula!

This is the first tuberose floral perfume that I bought. I am happy with it even though it is a blind-buy. I love the presentation of the flanker that I would love to have it in my collection. The smell is so good, so delicious that I just want to spray it on my arm to be able to smell everyday. It is a combination of many flowers, mainly tuberose and rose. Tuberose of this house is so fresh and it doesn’t make me feel headache. I smell rose and light citrus too. Longevity and sillage are definitely great, over 8 hours on skin and even longer on clothes. I have loved the tuberose now, I will try Do Son of Dyptique and Carnal Flower of Frederic Malle to see any difference of tuberose

I bought this by mistake from an online shop that they advertised it as a unisex fragrance because I wanted to try this brand since I don't know anything about it, and what a beautiful mistake! I didn't return it because I fell in love with it since the first sniff, Amazing stuff that lifted up my mood. The mixing of roses with the soft amber and powdery notes gives it a calm atmosphere yet loud and beautiful and then it's balanced with the right amount of sweetness and the white musk to support it. The longevity is 7 to 8 hours and it projects really well in the first 3 hours Definitely will check more of this brand after buying this.

Imeprial Emerald inside of I would say imperial bottle.The Merchant of Venice as always extremely impressive and creative with their bottles.Very seductive fragrance, quite intense and strong but not aggressive or boring. I simply love how on my skin I can smell the note of pepper a part from amazing floral notes with nice creamy tuberose and ambery notes. Must have for 2019.

I felt in love with this fragrance is a floral oriental, I like the evolution from the cirtrus notes to the floral one in particular the quality of tuberose and ylang ylang that than is warming with ambery and musky notes. Concentration is very high and so the lasting. The bottle looks amazing, never seen a decoration so elegant and sofisticated, it looks like a jewel.

It’s no way I could resist this perfume: a fascinating and very sensual fragrance in an enchanting bottle. The sensual and elegant scent of the tuberose and further coming musk and amber makes is deep, elegant, sophisticated and mysterious. Each detail makes it a must have jewel, it’s impossible to not fall in love whit it.

This is intoxicating florals on me. I love everything about this perfume. It is fresh, floral, green and sweet. Very round, well-blended and creamy. This one may not be sth extraordinary but it is a good floral for sure. Since I love floral perfumes this one can easily be a signature for me.

Imperial Emerald is a very attractive powdery fragrance. I never get bored of this one, and everytime I smell it, I love it more. If you're looking for a white floral fragrance, then this is undoubtedly a good choice for you.

Nice, creamy tuberose mixed very well with warm ambery notes. Smooth, close to your skin fragrance for every day use. The bottle and the packaging is just simply impressive!

A nice unique take on neroli. A bit overpriced but I will have it on my buying list.

Dear Imperial Emerald. I love you.

I was not expecting this perfume.. I was expecting.... more. That said, it IS a very pretty white floral, tuberose-centric perfume, with a musky amber drydown. The presentation is stunning, the bottle is beautiful. The juice only disappoints in the performance. I layer it with the Imperial Emerald creme, and it's a rather lackluster result. It SHOULD last longer than it does. Tuberose, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang are some powerful notes! This wears more like a toilette, than an eau de parfum concentreé. The bottle prepares you for something rather opulent and this scent pales in comparison, mainly because of their lack of performance, not the scent itself. While there isn't anything overly unique about the scent, if you like tuberose, you will like this! I do. One reviewer here talks about a "fist of patchouli" hitting them in the face-- Huh?? If it's there, it's extremely faint. I love patchouli and I don't detect it AT ALL.. I wish it DID have a fist of patchouli, or something like it...the scent would last longer and match the bottle more closely. It's actually rather linear...most of what you smell at first spray, you will smell as it dries down. Even in the long drydown, it's still tuberose, amber & musk. Would I buy this again? No, it's just too pale...it should be vibrant. But, it's a very pleasant scent, works nicely in warm weather, in a bottle that truly shines. Overall, a 6 out of 10.

I loved the tester in the store, so I bought the bottle. Little did I know that it was reformulated... The batch I gave is 2211293a, from October 2022. I have a few nice moments with the scent... and after 30min there is no projection, an hour later, I can maybe sense some trace of it if I stick my nose into my skin... such a pity!

Imperial emerald is quite nice, smells clean yet lived in. Warm lived in laundry like scent that’s a little sweet, I get like an ice cream or whipped cream, soft warm sweater, and beautiful flowers living comfortably in a beautiful home. It smells very good 😊

I bought this in their official store in Milan in 2026, and these are my thoughts so far: When I was at the store, I quickly tried out all the other TMOV fragrances I hadn’t smelled before to see which one attracted me the most at first whiff. Out of all of them, it was definitely Imperial Emerald. Since I noticed a strong presence of tuberose- a note I truly enjoy- I decided not to wait any longer and bought it right then and there. I haven’t regretted it since. I wore it every day during my trip throughout northern Italy and Switzerland, and it matched the vibe perfectly. For me, the most prominent notes are tuberose, lily, and lily of the valley. It has an aldehydic, soap-like nuance, but it’s also creamy- almost lotion-like- most likely from the ylang-ylang. The top notes are indeed powdery and bright, but not overly so. The patchouli is well blended, and the musk makes it feel more intimate, even with the amazing projection it has. There’s a subtle warmth from the base notes, but it’s definitely not too warm. It has old-money vibes: slightly mature, feminine, and clean- the name suits it well. I feel like it could work for any season, and I’m really glad I have it! Edit: I ended up giving it to my mom, it's too mature for me in my twenties.

I remember liking this elegant bottle when I first tried it in-store but revisiting it later turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. In my memory, it was a greener tuberose, but what I get now is a very generic, perfumey tuberose instead. The opening is bright and lively, the heart brings a full floral bouquet, and then... the ambery base kicks in, turning it into a sweet, ordinary floral that feels far too mainstream for a niche house. I initially loved this as it reminded me of a MUCH more affordable version of A Good Night’s Kiss in its floral fabulousness. But it quickly loses its charm, turns a bit synthetic and it fades from the skin (although it does stay on clothing for longer). I almost bought this, glad I didn’t. Update: I can still smell it on my top the following day. It’s actually making me feel sick, as it has that pink, floral, air-freshener vibe that’s so synthetic. It was stunning at first spray. Oh well, that’s why it’s best not to impulse buy.

the bottle is so so SO gorgeous but it hits me with a fist of patchouli, screeching patchouli. (and lilies are a flower i hate so there's that predjudice) it all together gives an oldster vibe, perfume my aging auntie in her 50ies with awful tattooed permanent eyebrows, chemically red lipstick and a heirloom fur coat might wear.

The opening of this fragrance is AMAZING! I wish the fragrance smelled that way the whole time but unfortunately it turns into a glade room air-freshener it hurts my nose and gives me a headache. It’s a shame the fragrance turns so unpleasant because that opening is to die for

Very disapointed! The bottle is Imperial indeed, but the perfume is nothing like this. The opening is beautiful, but it lasts like maximum a half an hour and it's gone completely. The only thing you can smell like in 10 min after spraying, is a cheap soap ...ppff, terrible!!

Keep in mind this perfume has been reformulated recently. It seems they didn't only tamper with its longevity, they ruined the perfume itself, it feels like they removed everything but the musk from the base notes, so the perfume no longer has its wonderful creamy, (non gurmanic) sweet drydown, and longevity is barely half of what it was. The original perfume was worth every cent, a masterpiece if you ask me. It had everything one could ask for from a perfume - 12+ hours, 4-5 hours of intense projection, perfectly blended, it smelled very luxorious and expensive. I honestly hope their sales will go rapidly down because of reformulation, so I can still hope they will return to the original formulation... the new version is not worth 1/3 of the price they're asking for.

It was a scent I liked before, but now it smells awful. I don't understand why this happened. Can a change in formulation make a scent so disgusting?

Imperial Emerald – The Merchant of Venice I reached for Imperial Emerald because it promised glamour, flowers, the Orient, elegance, and a peacock in full tail display. It sounded like a luxurious theatre: old gold, heavy burgundy curtains, a woman in emeralds, and a scent that does not apologise for entering the room in fur. And it arrived. Only not as a polite lady from a box seat. More like an elegant courtesan after the final act in a dusty theatre, where velvet curtains remember more sins than a confessional, and the peacock from the logo has just suffered an emotional floral poisoning and begun vomiting flowers. With class, of course. But still vomiting. First contact The first hit is like entering backstage in an old theatre: powder, flowers, dust, warm lamps, old wood, the shadow of a dressing room, and the scent of a woman fixing her lipstick in a cracked mirror even though the audience went home long ago. There is no fresh, innocent flower shop here. This is not a bouquet for a teacher at the end of the school year. This is a bouquet that has survived a romance, a scandal, three acts of drama, and was still thrown onto the stage by someone with too much money and too little sense. Iris makes powder. Pepper gives a little sting. Citrus tries to open a window for a moment, but tuberose is already standing in the doorway in a peignoir saying: "we are not airing this out — atmosphere is happening." When the curtain rises After a while the flowers start taking over. Tuberose, lily, ylang, rose, lily of the valley — an entire chorus of white and pink divas enters the stage at once, each with her own drama, each convinced she has the lead role. It smells like a prima donna's dressing room after the premiere: powder spilled on the table, wilted flowers, champagne already warm, a fan under the chair, and on the velvet sofa a woman who looks expensive, says little, and carries in her eyes the bill for everyone else's decisions. This floral quality is heavy, theatrical, a little excessive, a little shameless. Like a peacock that entered a funeral in sequins and is offended that people are staring. At the bottom In the base, Imperial Emerald becomes warmer, stickier, more salon-like. Vanilla, benzoin, amber, musk, and patchouli arrive — which means suddenly the theatre has a back room, and in that back room stands an old couch nobody wants to dust because they are afraid of finding an earring, a love letter, and half the city's history. The flowers are still there, but no longer fresh. They are warmed, pressed down, a little damp with skin, a little powdery, a little tired. Like a bouquet after a night in a hotel room where the curtains stayed closed too long, and in the morning nobody had the courage to turn on the full light. And this is where it becomes interesting: Imperial Emerald is elegant, but not cleanly elegant. This is elegance with a dusty lining. The gold has darkened slightly. The velvet has collected dust. The peacock is still beautiful, but someone should give it water and close the dressing-room door. Longevity? Like gossip after a premiere. On skin it stays long, soft, and theatrical. It does not leave quietly. It stands in the doorway a little longer, adjusts an earring, and waits until someone notices it still smells of flowers, powder, and decisions made after midnight. On clothes it may remain like the scent of an old box seat: flowers, dust, powder, amber, and that strange feeling that someone once had an affair here with a person whose name should not appear in a diary. Marketing says "Glamour, opulence, beauty, peacock." They should have written "For people who want to smell like an elegant courtesan in a dusty theatre, between heavy burgundy curtains, where a peacock vomits flowers into a crystal bowl, tuberose smokes in the dressing room, and rose pretends she does not know the truth." Rating: hungover peacock / 10 These are not polite perfumes. This is a floral spectacle after hours, when the audience has left, the orchestra has packed up, and all that remains on stage is velvet, powder, warm lamps, and a woman saying: "Darling, someone always pays for elegance. Sometimes in cash, sometimes in reputation."

The best thing about Imperial Emerald by The Merchant of Venice is the packaging. The peacock-printed bottle and the presentation is excellent, and feels very expensive and lush. Each bottle is inspired by traditional venetian glassware designs. The scent itself is very pretty, yet quite generic. Imperial Emerald is a fresh, musky floral with notes of tuberose, lily, iris, ylang ylang, pink pepper, white musk and orange blossom. Despite the abundance of white floral accords, this fragrance is neither indolic nor creamy. It wears both crisp and fresh, and is best suited to warmer climates. I might be unpopular for saying this, but Imperial Emerald's bottle design doesn't match the scent. Peacocks are confident and dramatic, whereas, the scent itself is a muted fresh and clean white floral. This is a fragrance for a wall-flower, disguised in this outrageous, glitzy and glamourous packaging. If I had happened to buy this fragrance blind, I would have been disappointed. The bottle and the listed scent pyramid set certain expectations that are not met with this fragrance. Most disappointing of all, the longevity and sillage are quite lacklustre. Imperial Emerald is priced slightly higher than the rest of The Merchant of Venice line, and so far the only aspect that warrants this price increase is the luxury packaging. Imperial Emerald was a fragrance I had looked forward to testing for the longest time, only to find that it smells like a standard musky floral designer scent.

Not at all my favorite from this house, but it's ok cuz it was a sample and I know exactly what doesn't work for me. Tuberose and Ylang are usually not my friends. However, if you are a lover of florals, I would say try this because even though it has some notes that are my nemesis, I have enjoyed exploring this sample. And with the sheer number of florals in this, that is saying a LOT! It is VERY well composed. I do wish I loved it because that bottle is just an amazing beauty. Others from Merchant of Venice that I highly endorse are: Byzantium Saffron, Andalusian Soul and Mystic Incense.

The first Moment you smell it seems something quite,but after few minutes you can Feel The magic sensation as you see The peacock tail...powerfull, magic, vibrant and luminous! I think this Parfum concentree is very very elegant, flowery but not sticky,strong but not aggressive, vibrant but not boring, and e very time I smell it on my skin I discovery a new shade Of flower, patchouli, ylang ylang, a little pepper, Iris and a magical tuberose...love it

I could buy this purely for the bottle to put on display. But ooh the scent! Super luxurious. I get a lot of balsamics subtle sweet amber and the star of the show tuberose and bergamot, this is very my kind of scent. Balsamics, twist of citrus, white flowers. The rose is humble in the background (i prefer a subtle fresh real rose) Love love love!

I fall completely in love with Imperial Emerald! Everything is just perfect: the fragrance, the packs and the story. The fragrance is very feminine, soft and with an amazing lasting. The bottle is so elegant and precious. It is also a perfect decorative object for home. I highly recommend it!

I had the chance to try Imperial Emerald few days ago and from the first smell, it took me back time when Perfumes were elegant, feminine, strong, longlasting. The richness of flowers, the fresh top notes and the powdery touch makes it just perfect. The packaging is amazing...

This perfume is something sensational! It opens with citrus notes and then evolves with a fantastic tuberose. What about the bottle and the packaging .... fantastic!!!

Tuberose with freshness of musk and iris, sweetened with a mixture of patchouli / vanilla / benzoin(really nice tuberose).
