Rose Oud

I recently found a bottle of this that belonged to an elderly relative. I saw 'rose' in the title and expected that it would be overwhelmingly mature. To my surprise, it wasn't all bad! It's prominent and doesn't suit me particularly, but there is a certain youthfulness that I really appreciate. The oud is pretty good too. I've smelled oud done better, but this is pleasant and inoffensive. It's not an awfully complex perfume, and rose and oud are pretty much all you get. I do pick up on amber at the very bottom. It would benefit from a bit more complexity.

it is a bomb of rose and oud for the first two hours -- pretty strong, sometimes with more oud, sometimes with more rose -- i sprayed it on my forearm, waited for it to dry, and then lowered my sleeve -- i could smell it through the sleeve for a couple of hours, and the sleeve still smells like it 8 hours later, even if it has almost disappeared from my skin -- only a vague skin scent now. a male fried adored it on the blotter -- where it was felt with almost the same intensity for a couple of days -- and a female friend was disgusted, saying that it smells like cheap old alcoholic soviet cologne. so it would create strong reactions in others. and i would say this would have better longevity sprayed on clothes, rather than directly on skin.

Smell of India ! Strong red roses mixed with pure oud! Veryyyyyy long lasting, I think it’s totally evening scent! Strongly recommend to test before buy !
