I knew it wasn't pure violets from the very first spray. Right off the bat you're hit with the unmistakably pungent odor of cassis, and then your sinuses are further assaulted by some generic chemical citrus. The notes scream at each other trying to take lead of this poorly blended cacophonic mess, and the violet itself is quietly sobbing in the background - for what we have here is anything but delicate, and everything that's going on in this fragrance completely steals the thunder from the titular note. It is supposed to be the star of the show, not be reduced to a supporting role for the loud and vulgar indolic flowers and whatnot. Final verdict: migraine inducing screechy scrubber and complete lack of respect for the beautiful violet note.

I'm not a fan of it simply for the name alone, I hope the scent isn't as tasteless as the name..
