It smells like an old castle with wooden floors with lavender scattered around and some prairie flowers. I love it! Winter-spring-fall fragrance.

If I had one word to describe this it would be crisp. It achieves this crisp freshness without using any citrus (at least obviously to my nose), which is a nice change of pace. Instead of citrus, there is a static-y pepper and geranium airiness that gives an uplifting and stimulating feel to it. The cedar comes out much later in the dry down, but as always, I wish the cedar was a larger player. Still, I appreciate the floral feel that avoids being generic or "perfume-y". If I had to paint a landscape of this, it would be in a simple backyard garden in springtime, when the breezes bring a freshness of life and alternate between the chill of winter leaving, and the warm promise of pleasant days ahead. There is a buzz to the air and mood, as if expecting a change that has yet to come. You are feeling relaxed, yet invigorated, and decide to pick up that long neglected book. The projection is there without being too loud, and the longevity is super impressive. Lasts all day on skin, and days on clothing. Anything more than 1-2 sprays gets a bit too loud for the first hour. Very gender neutral, I could see this working on many different types, from your grandma to a dirt-caked landscaper. As with the other Nue Co. fragrances, they are marketing this as "patented neuroscience technology" to help you do one thing or another, in this case to focus. The science seems a bit opaque to me, but I do think there is definitely a link between fragrance, our olfactory, and our brains. I'm not convinced they are doing anything special with scent molecules that can't also be found in other top notch fragrances, but I will say I do get an uplifting feeling from Mind Energy. Plus, the placebo effect is a powerful drug.

I picked this up for a very low price at TJ Maxx. It strongly reminds me of a the discontinued Acqu Di Parma Cedro di Taormina, which I used to wear often. However, the ADP is richer, and a more luxurious experience than this. If you like this but want it elevated even further, go for that fragrance. For what I paid, it was worth it. But I wouldn't pay retail, or even half of retail.

Very uplifting for the senses! A crisp and clean energy boost of geranium and something fruity (raspberry?). Can’t say it improves my concentration, but it does put focus on the moment I’m in. Highlighting it with its elegant freshness for an hour or so. I can advice anyone ready this to also try the other two fragrances, they’re great.

It's like tropical surface wipes in a bottle. I smell like a deep cleaned a pepper mill.

Reminds me of the beach in the winter. I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of the heavy pepper note. It’s fine, would like it more if it lasted longer.

I bought this somewhat randomly in 2021 and enjoyed it at the time. It's cool to revisit now while looking into the notes breakdown. It honestly holds up really well - I love the fresh citrus and peppery combo this presents. I smell lavender or some kind of herb which is not mentioned here, which creates a calming and almost sinus-opening effect. Feels like you can take deep breaths of this scent without choking on a cloud of fumes. Knowing that The Nue Co has intended this by formulating scents with an aromatherapeutic approach, I'd say job well done!

This reads grassy and specifically lemongrass-y to me and leans slightly on the masculine side. Projection & longevity are both lacking but is pleasant & uplifting so I find myself reapplying every few hours. I bought the 0.34oz travel size and unless I could get a full-size one for a really good price on eBay, it probably won’t be a regular purchase because there are other fresh-spicy, unisex options out there such as Concentre d’orange verte by Hermes with better longevity.

This was very surprisingly citrusy without having any citrus notes. It very much reminds me of the drydown of Chanel Allure Home Sport Cologne with that smooth peppery note but as a whole, Mind Energy is spicier and more bitter. This is quite diffused and very pleasant. I’d second @adelaidesandrina in her comment about Gypsy Water. It wasn’t super obvious but I did detect that similar drydown on and off.

To me this smells like a fresher, more crisp, citrus centric version of gypsy water from byredo. I really like it! I use it whenever i’m chilling around the house. It does make me feel more lifted! Idk if its a placebo effect or what lmao. I also love to spray it all over my bedsheets because it makes it smell sooo clean. I’m instantly transported to the spa 🧖♀️
