Organic Glam Jasmine

Oh, no. It looks like I'm the buzzkill here, but I have to be honest. This one didn't do it for me. I like the idea of the Organic Pharmacy brand. The design of their bottle is elegant and simple, which drew me to trying a few samples at my local Frends Beauty. To my dismay, none of their fragrances really worked out for me. In general, there is something about this brand that doesn't go with my skin chemistry. In the air, it's a decent jasmine white floral, as inoffensive and unremarkable as can be. Jasmine is already a mainstay of white floral perfumes, though for me–and I think for many others–it's a major offender in polarizing fragrances. The jasmine in this fragrance is slightly more organic and less mineral than the jasmine of, say, Mugler's "Alien," at least at first spray. But after the opener, it starts to lose its sparkle and natural fresh note. On the scent card, OK, but just edging on mediocre. On my skin, however–it's a nightmare. A bitter, acrid and unpleasant smell that makes me cringe whenever I smell it. And unfortunately for me, it lingers. It lingers a long time. It took me three separate tries to finally scrub it off. I will say this–it was a lot less offensive than their Rose Oud fragrance, not on this website–that one was horrific. Sadly, not an option for me. For others, this may be a good, sensible white floral. But as for me–hard pass.

I see i am the first one to write a review on the Organic Glam, Jasmine fragrance. This one is really fresh, green Jasmine, i have to say it is a very interesting fragrance...not exactly what i am looking for, but my olfactory system seems to like it ;).. I think this fragrance is similar to Jasminora from Guerlain (i think it's the jasmine, bergamot combination)but a bit more simple and most of the time that's what i like...jasmine, with only a hint of something else to make it stand out.. Definitly a spring/summer fragrance, light, green Jasmine...buuuut, nothing that truly stands out

A very light,pretty and natural Jasmine. I was told by the sale lady that this all is natural and can be sprayed on the hair although she couldn't confirm if by natural she means it is made with natural essential oils. I liked the bottle too. The cap is made of plastic.
