Sequoia Wood

Classy, all season, gentlemanly woody fragrance. I get Terre D'hermes EDT (which I also love) vibes but without the flint and orange notes. Very similar in the opening to Jovoy Incident diplomatique but more subtle and I'd say slightly easier to wear. Sequoia Wood is most definitely signature scent worthy, especially for the older gentleman. Sillage isn't massive (about a foot) for the first few hours, after which it sits close to the skin. Longevity is 6+ hours

Deliciously musky, earthy, and spicy. Truly genderless to my nose-- there's nothing traditionally masc smelling about this unless you're one of those people who thinks wood automatically equals masculine, which is silly. Anyway, Sequoia Wood is the first real hit for me from this brand. I'd jump for an FB but they're kinda hard to find in the US without spending a ton of money on shipping.

Classy yet casual. Really for any occasion. It's got a great balance of wood and raw beauty. Unisex and unique. It's not going to offend anyone and actually has a strange quality that draws you in closer. I have old books from perfumers story also and it's that same vibe of allure that I've never experienced before with a scent.

I really do enjoy this fragrance. It's a clean woodsy scent that is perfect for fall/winter/spring. Quite expensive to be a signature scent, but still a quality fragrance nonetheless.

I wish I could breathe this fragrance 24/7.

Something about the dry down, on my skin, is realllllly familiar but I can’t put my finger on what perfume... Ahh! Ten Fifteen by Room 1015 is what this reminds me of, but less synthetic & musky, and with sequoia greenery added. Also, somehow it’s going sweet tobacco, leather couch, and orris root on me?? Very, very androgynous. Sweet and coniferous. This is my first time smelling palmarosa, I think it, mixed with the patchouli musk and neroli are somehow reminiscent of orris/iris (which I love). It’s spicy in that high vitamin C/conifer forest way that I’m a fan of. I’m not a neroli fan, but you can smell it, and it works well here. I think patchouli haters wouldn’t mind this one either. Very well composed fragrance. Simple yet extremely unique, and surprisingly complex smelling. Many hours later I'm coming to the spot on my skin and getting spicy green, watery floral, and tobacco.

Huge thunking sawn planks of serious, quality conifer resin and wood - I get hardly any neroli and wouldn't recognise palmarosa if it whacked me on the head. (although I thought I detected the odd whiff of something boozy, like whisky or bourbon, so maybe that was it.) You need to really LOVE pine and sap to love this, and apply with some restraint - when I overdid it, I could swear I began to smell scarily like a car air freshener for an hour or two. But it is classy, natural-smelling, quality gear, never plasticky or cloying. If you are seeking an extremely coniferous, very resinous, strong woody 'fume with NO RED FRUITS, and no spices or smoke either, this would do the job nicely. Sillage is not huge (as long as you haven't sprayed yourself into PineFresh excess like I did); longevity up to 6h as skin. Unisex veering slightly masculine, I think.

Woody fragrances are not my style, but this is so warm and comforting. I'm getting spice, sawdust, and resinous sap. Really good.
