Cloud 9 Juice

This is such a multifaceted homerun. The stated notes are both identifiable and also so well blended that they create the most beautiful landscape. The watermelon is not sweet like in Wavechild; instead, it’s more like the earthiness of natural watermelon juice. The herbaceous of the cypress and saltiness make for something aquatic feeling. The notes suggest a summer perfume, but I’m wearing this in the middle of winter and I’m getting so many compliments. It stays on my clothes for the entire day. Very high quality, worth the price point for true artisanal perfume junkies IMO.

Tldr : coconut water cucumber mojito Wet on skin, cloud nine juice produces a blast of fresh cucumber and mint with saline foundation, having worn it for the passed day, the perfume loses most of its vegetal bitterness and becomes distinctly coconut, though there is no coconut present in its notes I assume it is due to my skin, all the better for it. The cucumber does mellow into watermelon alongside the coconut coming forward, however I cannot find any lemon here, perhaps it has blended Into the saline foundation I mention earlier 8/10, I will upgrade my sample to a bottle.

HEAP of salt in the opening, to the point where the first 10-ish minutes is an assault on the senses. Afterwards, it dries down to something kind of minty with a touch of cucumber, like a fresh green bar of soap. Maybe it's the shiso, but I get something very reminiscent of eucalyptus. Edit after some wears: Truly dries down to the experience of a day spent on the beach. Salty seawater dried on the skin by the sun. Thought this was a blind buy fail, but it's growing on me. I find myself craving it after I've smelt something impossibly heavy and cloying to clear my nostrils.
