Tales of Oud & Dates

Fig/date and incense heavy, but not a ton of Oud that my nose detects. Will pair nicely with pure Oud oil. Smells a bit Amouage adjacent. Vaguely like a sweeter version of purpose 50 or something. I also am reminded of Gris Charnel due to the fig. It is like if Gris Charnel was reimagined by a middle-eastern perfumer. Performance is decent. Decent longevity but in my experience it does not project a ton so you gotta load up with sprays like the guy does in their ads. I am overall a fan of it!

For me the smell reminds me of a winter day beside the fireplace in a wodden house. It starts of with sweet oud notes. As it settles it gets more of a smoky Oud smell. Very high Quality and Long lasting fragrance. On clothing it lasts for days. It starts of with sweet date and fig notes and light oud notes. This is some amazing perfume, very long lasting , deep projection, the dates really complements the Oud. Out of the fragrances series this is my fav. Learning about the inspiration from the owner at an event recently about the various fragrances and the history opens a whole new way of thinking. From the entire series this is a must try even in the warm weather works well.
