Abu Dhabi AUH

Interesting scent. Initially it seems like it's going to be a very heavy and rich fragrance. What I get up front is kind of a citrusy, herby mashup with a bit of a heaviness that comes from the benzoin and musk. The nutmeg mixes with the lime and creates a nice enough opening. Transitioning to the middle notes was kind of an odd experience at times. The strength of the fragrance itself crescendo's at times and falls at other times. The benzoin and musk wafts in and out of the fragrance. I don't discern much of the individual notes listen in the heart of the fragrance, but it's still nice enough. It's kind of an animalic mishmash with perhaps some wood notes. If the drydown stays with you, it will turn a bit sweet with the tonka bean and vanilla mixture. And that is basically what I get. Anyway, this isn't an expceptional fragrance, but it's nice and I'm fairly sure it's reasonably priced. And it does kind of give the impression of what you would think Abu Dhabi smells like.
