Vetiver & Sandalwood

Monetarily cheap but not cheap in terms of scent, I use this as an everyday scent along with the other products in the line like the shaving soap and balm which again are inexpensive yet do the job they are intended to do, you end up smelling fresh and clean, like a man who can be bothered to take care himself without trying to make a song and a dance about it. For the snobs out there, leave this beauty to the everyday guys doing everyday things.

There are some real snobs on here. Firstly I have been a fan of vetiver for many years and this fragrance is Guerlain Vetiver at a quarter of the price. The negative reviews posted show how little they know or appreciate fragrances. Smelling good has to cost a fortune to those that need to flaunt their ignorance.

I was very lucky because I was able to return it, even though I sprayed 2-3(it was 3) times. It's just so weak, and the smell so synthetic and unappealing. It is so(SO) below what Floris, Geo. f. Trumper, or even Trufitt & Hill make. To put it simply, you get what you pay for.

I bought the gift set of Vetiver and Sandalwood by Scottish Fine soaps. Which has the hair and body wash, After shave balm and 50ml EDT for just over £20. Based on the same excellent gift set in the line of Thistle & Black pepper. I am very impressed. I have a lot of fragrances but find myself reaching for these 2 more than much more expensive designer fragrances. Not beast mode projecting or longevity but boy do they smell super clean and of high quality. Using all 3 products in the gift set together is a wonderful experience. My wife who is bored of smelling fragrances always comments how clean and fresh I smell. I slightly prefer the Vetiver and sandalwood offering but it’s very close. Perfect for when you want to smell squeaky clean. The aftershave balm leaves a cleansing tingle making my Nivea go to balm virtually redundant. If these fragrances were made by an Italian shaving giant brand they would sell for double the price. Support a smaller company selling great products at great prices. I usually get bored with fragrances and move onto something new when I finally finish a bottle. These 2 offerings will be re purchased, hopefully they continue the gift set as my shower routine has been improved with this experience. The Vetiver is not dirty at all and smoothed off with the sandalwood brilliantly. Best find for me in 2022 and I have bought over 50 fragrances this year.
