Earth

I love this, it smells like apples and dirt but in the best possible way. Probably not for everyone because of that very reason, but I think anyone who has tried it could agree that it's very photorealistic. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to last very long or project on me - I'm very jealous of the people who have voted the sillage and longevity as being pretty good! Despite that, I will always keep a bottle of this in my collection for as long as it exists.

Literally just dirt and moss and wet leaves after the rain, in the best way possible. My partner wears this and it feels so comforting, I get the best dreams when I sleep next to them after they've worn it. Goes very well with my Blood Rose by the same brand, very fae power couple vibes when we are both wearing them :p

Finally they added Society of Alchemists!!!! I've been wanting to see more UK indie brands on here! What can I say? This is straight up dirt (complimentary) I have no idea how they managed to encapsulate the essence of wet soil and mushrooms but I absolutely love it. Likely offensive to people that generally enjoy more mainstream scents but it's an amazing scent to layer with others if you're wanting to smell like Baba Yaga roaming through a damp forest. The dry down tones this down of course, it does become a lot more wearable and also sweet in a very earthy and green way.

Delighted to see Society of Alchemists on here. Owned by The Yorkshire Soap Company, these guys know how to create strong, photorealistic fragrances. Unfortunately that means that earth smells EXACTLY like a wet compost heap with rotting apples on top. Could be great as a courtyard garden fragrance but definitely not for me, even though I generally love green, earthy fragrances. Their rose scent though is amazing. Absolute photorealistic old fashioned heavily scented rose, not a fragrance interpretation of it, one just like you’d bury your nose in when in the garden. Get that, don’t get this.

I discovered this brand through clicking through notes, and saved the shop locatiin. Got my hands on "Earth" a couple days ago and it smells exactly like my childhood where i spent loads of time outside between the bushes, trees, sweet water lakes, muddy paths and peatbogs. but it has a sweet scent to it. like a slightly damp earth! it is perfect if you enjoy the smell of dirt!!
