Rimal

This is a strong and beautiful scent, quite safe and wearsble for spring/fall and early winter. Performance is very nice. Thick and very oily on the skin, a characteristic of this house. The opening and the first stage of its development feels like an oudy and slightly smoky bubblegum scent but this vibe dies after about 1 hour. To be honest the opening is not the best part of it. Then starts the magic.. gorgeous smell. I get a luxurious sub-sweet and lovely smoky saffron note with incense, styrax, mild vanilla, leather, musk and nutmeg. There is also at the background a mild jammy slightly powdery rose. The scent feels totally unisex. With simple words, this is a smoky/incensy/leathery sub-sweet saffron. Beautiful! Update Today I bought it and it feels nice in a hot summer day (28°C) with 2 sprays. But definitely it shines in cooler temperatures.

This one is a bit of an enigma for me. It is not the kind of fragrance I gravitate towards. Normally, I really don't like sweet fragrances, nor do I like gourmands. This one is sweet, but I don't find it cloying. Perhaps this is because the sweetness is counter balanced against the warm dry spices and woods. I mostly pick up saffron, cinnamon and nutmeg. As the scent dries down I start to pick up the woods, sandal, oud, maybe a touch of vetiver. Throughout the wearing a soft ylang pops in and out. I get excellent performance. Longevity is all day with good sillage. Projection is moderate, not bombastic unless over-sprayed. In spite of the sweetness, I really am captivated by this fragrance, much to the chagrin of my wallet.

Rightly pointed by the previous reviewer after the initial blast of dry petroleum washed suede and dry stingy saffron settle down the fragrance takes a dramatic turn. Its become cultured and appealing. A lovely spicy nutmeg some dry vanilla and sweet tonkabean vanilla accord over smoky luscious incense. A beautiful musk makes its way up towards the end. Seems like the best parts of Interlude and Reflection just had a baby which was adopted by Armani Royal Oud. I am strangely attracted to it. Damn. I hate pink peppers too. This is black magic. And yes I did a slight rose too. Just powdery hints. Performance looks excellent. Pricey buy charming.

a sweet, smokey, saffron-forward scent that reminds me of some Boadiceas. Love it. Not oud heavy but it has the balance of spice, sour, sweet that makes you sniff your arm. This scent is sweet but not cloying, subtle, hard to define. It radiates within arm's length at first application but quickly tones down to a skin scent. In the bottom it is such a powdery patch that it smells like a warm amber.

This is beautiful. I blind bought the whole first gen and this is the first of my wearings and I’m delighted. I cannot wait to wear the rest. Thick, Spicy and worthy of the price tag. I do get the TF Tuscan leather comparison but it’s got a whole other layer of spices and complexity added. Truly a beautiful and complex niche fragrance.

Rimal is a very sexy and gorgeous fragrance! If you like fragrances with vanilla, saffron, and oud this really is a no brainer. Its perfectly complex but also very wearable. The dance between the florals and spices is perfectly mastered. I can't imagine being without it.

This is my fav perfume so far! Very strong opening, sweet and little woody. It lasts for about 6-8 hours on skin for sure, but it stays on the clothes for days until I put them to wash lol. Worth the price!!

This is some amazing juice so beautifully refined smooth leathery scent! Just sprayed for the first time from a decant and I’m in love! I’ll have to update this review further as I wear it a few more times.

This one just oozes quality. Amazing fragrance, one of the best discoveries this year. So luxurious and refined. And the performance is really what I like for this price. Just try and thank me later.

Gorgeous opening. Slightly smoky vanilla / gourmand with hints of leather. Refined and sophisticated. Modest performance and not loud. Versatile and unisex. Shukran Habibi!

Sophisticated ambery gourmand scent stuffed with the most delectable spice and fruit notes. The perfume opens with notes of dried fruits, saffron, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. The brief heart has incense, rose, ylang, a sweet Barfi like note and patchouli. The perfume settles on a powdery bed of caramel, sandalwood, vetiver, musk and amber. The unisex scent has moderate to strong projection and excellent longevity. Gourmand lovers need to get your nose on this. Enjoy!

Almost a 😍. The opening is really great. Peary. Fruity. Dried. Intense. It fades away as the scent assume a more or less typical stale oud and saffron on a leather purse type of character. I can still smell that beautiful fruity opening but it’s become little more than a background nuance. Damn. Refined. Better smelled near the skin. Smells better on skin than on paper. Challenging wear, dress up!

After 20 min it's a nice one worth to check it out

Very soft and delicate leather perfume. It’s nice, but there’s something almost cloying about it. There’s a sweetness that to me feels out of place. Like it smells like what my aunt’s purse smelt like when I was a kid. Soft used leather, with paper money and some old candy and lose caramels. This definitely leans too feminine, in my opinion, but maybe mostly because of where the scent memory takes me. Also, in the dry down the sandalwood note is reminding me of Perris Monte Carlo’s Santal du pacific, which is my least fav sandalwood note. More like Sanjinol than Javanol. Pleasant overall, but ultimately a bit disappointed. Still better than Tuscan leather tho. One of my favorite “leather” perfumes is Lonestar Memories by Tauer, and every time I think that will be the leather note in fragrances I purchase, they always ends up being a similar take on Tuscan leather. If anyone is familiar with any leather perfumes in the same vein as Lonestar memories, please give me a heads up. Much appreciated.

Rosendo mateu 5 or babycat smells kinda in the same no thanks

Woooow, this is such a beautiful fragrance. I tried this on my skin at the ‘Spirit of Dubai’ boutique and immediately fell in love. The sales assistant also spray some on a paper strip for me. On the way home, I kept sniffing my wrist. It reminds me of a more elegant softer Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. This is totally unisex, unlike the Tom Ford perfume which I feel is very masculine. To my nose, this is a beautiful blend of saffron, suede, oud, fruit and leather. I’m sure there are more components to this heavenly scent but these are the notes I get. When I came home that night, I put the paper strip on my bedroom dresser. The next morning, whilst I was sitting at my dresser table I asked myself what is this lovely smell. I thought I have not sprayed anything on myself yet, nor sprayed anything in my home. Then I realised..ahhh it was the paper strip and the scent of Rimal. I am tempted to buy this but I must admit the high price tag is somewhat of an insult. If anyone can recommend a dupe for this, I would be very happy. Putting price aside however, this is a beautiful perfume with monster longevity and projection.

I take in the spotlight a saffron with a soft 'suede' leather, a delicious cinnamon, a floral bouquet and especially the woody notes smoky by the precious 'oud with incense intertwined with the creaminess of sandalwood and the sweet ambery accord adding even more softness to the fragrance. Rimal is predominantly an Oriental, Leathery, Spicy, Woody and Amber fragrance. The perfume gives the feeling of crossing the desert with a caravan with its camels and leather accessories loaded with spices, incense, etc... crossing scorching dunes with a warm breeze mixing all these sensations.

Rimal has an Intense dry spicy opening, with sweet leathery saffron and nutmeg, I have smelt a similar opening before in Mendittorosa Alfa, it is followed by a sweet accord that reminds me of Roja Qatar, but has that plasticky feeling that you find in the opening of Rosendo Matue 5. It gets more leathery in the drydown with a benzoin based bone dry resinous amber accord. Composition wise, this might be one of the better ones from the house but I didn’t like it personally.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed as i lived my first 20 years in Dubai & by far it's the best place on earth , so I'm positive by God's well it will be a grate perfumes & by the way bottles design are awesome ! P.S. where are the NOTES ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

What a great fragrance this was.But now the new one though good is nowhere near the early batches. The earlier one was a super refined extrait version of Tuscun Leather. New one has the leather but more caramel too. Not a very exciting fragrance anymore yeah but still good for what it is.

This is just an excellent fragrance period. Leather can be super divisive but I think this is one of the most approachable leathers I have smelled. Masterful blending and well worth the 140$ you can find this for (unless you are a brokie!)

@Whateverwhocares - You can get that opening from Fragrance du Bois "Secret Tryst". It's not as harsh as this and is built entirely around the opening of Rimal, but it lasts *very* little (I'm talking 3-4 hours).

A very refined version of Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather. I’m blown away by this fragrance. It’s spice layered with leather. It’s smells thick and luxurious. This may be the one I’ll add to my collection.
