Monsieur Chypre Holistique

one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL Chypre perfumes I have smelled in my life !!! It's very original for a Chypre, we don't really feel the animal side (civet) here it's more of a creamy and very classy Chypre a modern chypre maybe, but is beautiful 😍

This definitely comes off masculine and i find it a bit hard to define what im smelling Its very earthy and a bit spicy Definitely a lot of oakmoss and the spice/aromatic notes come from lavender and patchouli Not sure what the name means but to me this is definitely worn by a guy who wears linen, walks around barefoot and is into ayurveda or herbalism haha It's very pleasant actually and a bit old fashioned - you bad reviewers should chill a bit

Let's play a game of "This Doesn't." This doesn't smell like a "Monsieur" scent. This doesn't smell like a Chypre fragrance. This doesn't smell like it was made with 8 notes. This is a different kind of Mister...All of the stereotypical notes that define masculinity are in the note lineup but the problem is that it either doesn't exist or doesn't translate when sprayed(aka don't blind buy this). This 45min fragrant flimflam lacks confidence and performs shyly as an aromatherapy application rather than an ambitious red blooded fragrance. It doesn't take long to figure out that this was pretentiously labeled and underwhelming. There's nothing here to personify or distinguish those monsieur moments. Even if the intent wasn't to make this a "Monsieur" type of fragrance, it still fails because it's expensive, wimpy and expendable. 1 hour later. Not only is this scent boring but where did it go!? Smh...those fancy bottles will get you everytime. I hate to tell you this but...sorry bro...Jimmy got over on you. Sometimes you don't want art on your skin, you just want a damn fragrance.

This gives me the impression of a vanilla-forward 'blue' designer fragrance. Only thing that smells high quality is the citrus & mossiness when smelt up close. Worst of the bunch & a hard pass.
