Rebel Tonka

Rebel Tonka is a really beautiful perfume that, honestly, I don't find rebel at all but rather warm and enveloping. To me it smells like sugary coffee with spices. Over time, the tonka bean note appears, which progressively becomes the main note of the composition. This is an incredibly realistic tonka. When I smell this perfume in the drydown, I feel like smelling one of those cans of real bakery tonka beans, deliciously sweet, spicy and aromatic. Although for me it is not a lactonic perfume, I would say that, perhaps thanks to those tonka nuances, it has a creamy quality. In its drydown it also reminds me of those mixtures for preparing chai tea. It has a moderate sillage and a really good duration, around 10 hours on skin and more on clothing. The quality and originality of these water-based fragrances is really good and I love this one in particular for autumn and winter. Of the other two from the brand, I love Tropica for summer while Bossa Wood was not my cup of tea because it had little projection on my skin.
