Dark Forest

Beautiful. So much going on with this scent. It’s a smoky, resinous, earthy, woody bomb. I also get a slight sweetness from the honey. I can smell the Black Afgano resemblance. I think this leans slightly sweeter and it doesn’t have the cannabis, coffee and tobacco punch, but it’s one fine frag. Like the reviewer below says, you can’t stop smelling this once you’ve sprayed. An absolute steal off FragranceNet for $65 AUD. Edit: Running a side-by-side comparison this evening. Dark Forest is about 80% close to Black Afgano, not much more. Black Afgano is skankier whereas Dark Forest is sweeter. I do wonder if people go nose blind to this because I’ve smelled it all day. It’s a beast. Fantastic drop 👌🏻

Copying Luna_503....For the price it’s a great buy. The Woods Collection seems to make high quality fragrances on their own. This is very well blended. I have 8 Woods Collection fragrances and this is the best, followed by Dancing Leaves. Overall: 8.5/10 Scent: 8.5/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 8/10 Sillage: 8/10 Value: 9/10 (there are not many fragrances sub $40 that have the quality and performance) Buy these at Jomashop to get the best price. I think all of mine were less than $40/100ml. There is a waiting list and I think I received my Dark Forest in about 3 weeks. Well worth the wait!

I am a male. It is good and addictive. Strong upon the application then kind of fading down for a short while only to become vividly present for quite a long time sending you beautiful whiffs and leaving delicious dry down on your cloths. I guess this is how it evolves on the skin which is slightly different than some other scents I know. Anyway, it is worth its price but nowadays hard to obtain where I live. Update: Insanely strong after about a year from the first use. It will choke one out.

For my nose, it is a woody, spicy & Oudi perfume, with a slight hint of similarity to Encre Noire A L'Extreme Lalique in terms of spiciness and darkness. It is a blind-buy-worthy perfume for its amazing projection and longevity. Although I am not sure if this perfume is a good alternative to Black Afgano, it is still worth it to give it a try for its price value, 35$.

This one performs very well on me, the sillage and lastingness are all good. Has that warmish Nasomato black afgano vibes spot on, and also TT Laudano Nero. They are in the same family. Good price + good quality but hard to find. i secured a bottle by luck.

It leans more toward Gucci intense Oud which is a designer take on black afgano. Its an addictive deep scent, once you spray it on your hand you can’t take your nose off. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 8.5/10 Projection: 6.5/10 Worth the money.

Update: 5 sprays is too much. This is a sneaky scent that doesn’t need much application. It gets stronger and stronger as it dries down. Don’t do what I’ve done today. It’s a beast. 2-3 max. Thank me later.

Beautiful fragrance, and amazing performance. Anyone perceiving this as a skin scent is likely going nose blind. This fragrance has 100% beast mode performance.

I have never blind bought something and was so pleased with what I received. It's the perfect blind buy! Whoa, buttery smooth. it’s like stepping back into an era that still lingers, faintly yet vividly, just on the edge of a dusty memory. There’s warmth to it, like inhaling the scent of an antique library filled with leather-bound tomes and a hint of spices from far away lands. The floral undertones drift through, delicately yet mysteriously, swirling with shadows. Every note takes its turn, gracefully intertwining, almost as if they’re alive and whispering secrets to each other. You catch a soft trace of oud and the grounding embrace of wood, it feels so natural, as though you’re breathing in the essence of the very Tree itself. The quality is astounding. Citrus, Honey sweetness and some spice. Slight hint of patchouli which is off and on to my nose. I like it but do not love it. Day scent that isn't offensive. More casual than anything else. For the price and quality it is FB worthy. Enjoy!

Warm, spicy, and a bit of citrus. Not sure why it's called "Dark Forest." I'm struggling to find anything "dark" or "forest-like" in the scent profile. As someone else mentioned, it is a good day scent that isn't offensive. Although a great fragrance in it's own right, especially considering the price, it will probably see little wear. I was looking for something darker. Something actually reminiscent of a dark forest. Never tried BA so I cannot compare the two.

It's Nasomatto's Black Afgano at it's best! I love this fragrance! Having both Black Afgano and Dark Forest i can tell you that the smell is better on Dark Forest. Both last long enough, close to 8+ hours on skin and pretty much 2 weeks on my jacket. On my shirt, at first machine wash , the dettergent and the fabric softner didn't eliminate the perfume. So, i'm using Dark Forest because it comes in 100ml bottle and it's cheaper. Results are the same! BEWARE! It is a strong one! It's a beast! Use only 2-3 sprays!

This is 100% Raghba Wood Intense Lattafa, hands down, Almost to the point you would swear they just re bottled it. I've had Woods Intense for over a year now and just got Dark Forest yesterday and there is no difference as far as scent. Woods Intense is nuclear and a bit rounder after about a month with just 2 sprays, more than that it'll fill the house for a few days and cling to everything. If you cant find one, pick up the other.

Definitely reminds me of black afgano. Black afgano is a bit greener in the start. Also reminds me of Sospiro Perfumes Afgano Puro, but puro is more dry tobacco in the start. They all dry down more similar and then remind me of terroni from Otto parisi. For this to be in the same realm of those others I mentioned for the price is high praise. It's not as good as any of those but it still is good 👍

Bought it from Notino( EU) strong when you first spray, quickly fades into a skin scent after...like most of NOW PERFUMES...longevity its ok..around 6 to 7 hours as a skin scent at his best !
