Secret

According to Sommeleir de Parfum, its 20% green notes on top, 20/20% lily and orange blossom in the heart, and 20/20% vanilla and wood notes for the base. The green notes scare me a bit but I've heard this is a great dupe for Green Malachite and so I'm going to try this and see if I like Twilight or Secret better. Twilight was more of a green, white floral with an amber base. I didn't find it to be sweet and the white floral were a bit indolic. To me it smelled like a unisex white floral until the dry down and the citrus notes dissipated and the smooth amber takes over and it does become a bit sweeter. I like the idea of this being heavier in the vanilla and woody notes with a balanced white floral bouquet. I'm assuming the green notes dissipate slightly like the citrus notes do in Twilight. EDIT: This smells more expensive than Twilight. It's smoother, sweeter, and there's not any indolic quality to it. There are more nuances in Twilight, but Secret is just so smooooth. Twilight has spicy notes, fruity qualities, but doesn't smell as luxurious as Secret and Secret smells like it's made with better natural oils. White Twilight is brighter, sharper, and more punchy, Secret is softer and smoother and I prefer those qualities in my white florals. Also, TWC new bottles are to die for. This came in a very luxurious package with a bonus travel decanter. The bottle is so beautiful. Thick heavy glass, magnetic faux wood cap. The nameplate is a metal applique. The juice in Secret is a dark, rich color. It just exudes luxury for a $40 price tag. This is the 3rd nicest bottle in my collection, after my Tiziana and V Canto bottles.

Beautiful white florals with fresh green notes and a very distinct woody dry down. As it wears on it becomes very creamy when the vanilla shows up but the green, leafy notes keep the sweetness in check. Thankfully, there's no candy or cake batter anywhere in sight. 😉 Lux packaging includes bottle with magnetic cap and complimentary travel sprayer. I really don't know why they felt the need to include an empty travel sprayer to fill from the bottle since the performance is so good you don't need to do touch ups. It does make a beautiful presentation though, especially if you are giving this as a gift. Considering that this fragrance sells for five times more on the manufacturer's website than what I paid for it on the grey market that's a great deal for a beautiful perfume.

Wow, just wow. This stuff is INSANE. Smells very floral, of course, white florals to be precise. I can detect Ylang-ylang a bit but mostly Tuberose, it has a nice underlying sweetness and creaminess to it, you might think this leans feminine but I think it's perfectly unisex. It's very calming but alluring, smells like a succulent tuberose with vanilla sprinkled around it to give it some additional sweetness. Performance is outstanding, my skin eats fragrances and I tried it on twice on unmoisturized skin with just one spray and this stuff lasted, after 6 hours I could still totally detect it on my arm while going close with my nose. This is truly a hidden gem.

This is a really lovely, lush perfume melding the creaminess of white florals and the softness of non-gourmand vanilla. The lily note in this composition is very appealing. The soft wood notes help to ground the composition. I don't experience a lot of projection or longevity but it's inexpensive enough that I don't mind over spraying and re-spraying as needed. I do see the similarities between this and Armani Prive Vert Malachite but I wouldn't deem Secret a dupe. Vert Malachite is more complex and the ingredients seem to be of a higher quality. However, they are both excellent in their own ways. Secret is a stunner. An absolute steal for ~$40 on Jomashop.

Vert Malachite, Gardens Of India, French Flower, Casablanca Lily. Either they were too pricey or didn't perform or both, this one ticked all the boxes. It is quite similar to the fragrances mentioned, but this one is it's own fragrance also, lighter and smoother with great projection. I like this version the best. It really is beautiful.

This is a lovely, green and woody orange blossom. Just sweet enough without the cloying sweetness of, say, Prada Paradoxe. I haven't gotten my nose on Vert Malachite to make the comparison but this stands on its own. And the value for money is off the charts. Highly recommend, especially for Spring!

Beautifully lush mix of tuberose, orange blossom, and ylang, surrounded by a thick lactonic cloud of vanilla. Wears so strongly, projects immensely in the air and on the skin, gets stronger as it mingles with body heat. Perfect all year round, apply with a lighter hand in summer.

My bottle reads SECRET not SECRETS 🤔 Is anyone else's bottle misprinted? I bought it from FragranceNet, so I'm sure it's legit. 🤷🏻♀️ I've never smelled Vert Malachite, but this fragrance is really nice. I smell tuberose, something slightly green and vanilla. 😍

I’m extremely happy with this fragrance. I own VM but at the price point I tend to save it for special occasions. Well this one is so affordable where I live that I can just use it with wild abandon🤣😁. It smells exactly the same to me.

Almost two years have passed since my review. It's a bit less floral and a bit more vanillic now, I like it better, it's turned more unisex than before. Recommended big time.

I just got it and let me say guys this is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE TO VERT MALACHITE Vert malachite was my auntie’s signature scent for the past 4 years and i know exactly what does VM Smell like guys if u think VM is too strong and headache inducing try this give it a try its like taking VM putting it in another bottle and making it more wearable and less jasminy and soapy and more vanillic as creamy as white floral as jasminy as vanilic as waxy as VM almost the exact same scent also almost the same density the same creaminess but I believe secret is way denser the projection is quite good but im not gonna lie the projection isn’t insane as VM VM projects craazzyyy the longevity is more than a week the sillage is even more than the longevity for a whole 2 days u gonna be like a walking VM but secret isn’t as good it lasts 12hours projects for the first 3 to 5 hours then u need to hug someone if u want him to smell the fragrance but I don’t mind overspraying because it is HELLA CHEAP Does it smell like VM ? 10/9 Does it projects strongly as VM ? 6,5/10 Price ? 100000/10 Quality ? 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000/10 The woods collection never disappointed me there quality is INSANELY HIGH FOR THAT PRICE TAG

i think it smells like TWC Twilight which i also have, to my nose it is tuberose or white floral the main player here. Secret has that orangish or citrusy notes upon spraying. It lasts about 10-15 min and disappear. Then the white floral takes over. The drydown is almost similar to Twilight which has that sweet and a bit lactonic tuberose vibes all the time. Last very long anyway. But im not really into this , for which i seldom use. Secret is towards masculine and Twilight is more feminine, but both are unisex in general. Packaging is impressive.

It had the same scent profile with French Flower by Matiere Premiere. However, it is definitely not a clone, as it was launched in 2020, while French Flower was launched two years later - Mar 2022. The note of tuberose is really strong and milky-sweet, which is supplemented by the woody base. There is no scent transformation for this fragrance. In general, Secret by TWC is a steroid version of French Flower. The longevity is huge, and the projection is loud

This perfume is very interesting and also strong, almost beast mode! It reminds me of some other perfumes but i don ́t exactly which perfume. the problem is that I find it too feminine so it ́s a no for me, but the juice is very well blended, I like it but it ́s not my style :). Amazing value for the money if you like the scent!

Heavy florals. Leans feminine in my opinion. I got it sent to me by mistake as I ordered dusk but the store send me this one by mistake & later they send me Dusk. I did not use it much because I feel it is too feminine for my taste. Suited for cold weather. Performance is insane absolutely insane lasts 12+ hours & projects for hours. If you are into this type of heavy florals fragrances then it would be a gem for you.

Like the original Vert Malachite, Secret is not a true Lily fragrance at all. It doesn't smell anything like Stargazer or Easter lilies. It doesn't even smell like Lily of the Valley. Instead, what we have here is a powerful, dry, woody tuberose accord, softened by creamy nuances of gardenia. It starts promisingly enough: asserting it's white floral presence with incredible silage. It smells almost tropical, yet refined and elegant. I could imagine the concierge of an upscale resort wearing this with an expensive Hawaiian shirt. As the perfume reaches it's heart, however, a problematic note arises. It is a familiar note used in many classic tuberose perfumes that, to my nose, is a mix between mothballs and pink urinal cakes. I suppose the perfumer included this note to add a "heady" effect to the white florals. For me, unfortunately, this note is only "headache inducing". As the perfume reaches it's dry down, it becomes even more woody. A floral vanilla orchid appears, laced with solar green salicylates. The vanilla orchid amplifies in volume over time, eventually becoming very lactonic and coconut like. The base notes are pleasant, but not strong enough to temper the unpleasant chemical edges of the tuberose. Finally, about 12 hours later, my nose detects the slightest hint of civet alongside the now muted tuberose. It seems the perfumer wasn't satisfied with just a "heady" tuberose, he wanted one with feral and animalic qualities as well. If you are looking for a mostly unisex, beast mode white floral perfume-- and are a fan of tuberose-- this might be just right for you. For me, however, this is just doing too much for an enjoyable wear.

I wouldn't say I liked it, it smells like air freshener. It was a blind buy for me based on the notes, a one that I regret :(

There is a note that smells like chlorine on my skin, and it's missing that creamy ylang-ylang.

I got it on January 16 and It came as a surprise with a beautiful scent. At first, it reminds me of a certain scent that I sniffed because of floral and a bit sweet vibe. Give me two sprays on my neck and thank God since it lingers around me for nearly 8 hours. The scent smells a bit cloying at first but soon dries down pleasantly and keeps the comfort on the body. I, also, give 4 trial sprays on a piece of paper and right the time I am reviewing this gorgeous scent, it has still been present on the white sheet. I love it so much along with Natural by the woods collection DUSK, which are the hidden gems to me. Now it seems reminiscent of Atlas Garden by YSL and I instantly check the notes on the golden bottle of YSL. Everything was illuminated when orange blossom exists in both scents but the sweet vibe comes from Tonka bean in Atlas juice and from Vanilla in Secrets juice. These scents deserve each penny paid and it made me order Royal night in the collection of this house. Thank for reading my review. A scent lover from Vietnam.

I have never smelled VM but I like this very much. First minutes overwhelmed me a bit, a great cloud of white flowers, almost vintage, but in a few moments I smelled... coconut. And it was my second test. First I sprayed one layer, in 10 minutes another layer and after a moment I felt this coconut, nice, vanillic and creamy coconut. I lived that, cause I'm looking for a perfect coconut and I wasn't expecting to find it here. My number one still is Virgin Island from Creed, and here it's totally different, but still nice. The longevity is great, in the base I feel nice dry woodsy notes and vanilla of course, it's definitely more feminine to my nose, very cosy and good for winter. I like it :)

Are these notes accurate or has the formula changed? Looking it up to purchase there’s a completely different set of notes and no vanilla.

It is nearly identical to VM I love it.
