Alluring Fig

I bought a sample from the company and then a bottle. It's a fascinating scent. It's like real figs. How did he do that? People who don't know figs do not recognize this scent. It is the scent of the fresh fig, directly from the tree. I once ate a fig that I picked minutes before. In Spain. It smells like that. A ripe/overripe fig picked in summer in Spain. It's puzzling. I remember the day I picked that fig. There is no other scent like that. A real fig. It was a beautiful day and I rarely ate something more delicious or ... heavenly. I felt so successful and cunning. I found free fruits in superior quality. In my holiday. The tree grew beside a depressing and ugly road in the middle of nowhere, the asphalt was on fire, the figs split open in my hand because they were so ripe. I had never smelled something like that. I grew up in Germany. I didn't even know the taste of fresh figs. I only knew them in their dried form. The figs were so ripe that their skin became so thin that it was almost see-through, less than paperthin. I didn't even know that fully ripe figs developed this thin of a skin. Obviously imported figs are being harvested a bit unripe but this fact never made it all the way to the ground of my brain, so to speak. No one could commercially export fully ripe figs for more than 10 minutes. It was a hassle to put them in between my clothes in my suitcase. I had to eat them within the next 2 days. They were hardly jostled in between my clothes. Do you know the smell of these figs in real life? Then you know the smell of this fragrance. I know of no people who don't like the smell of figs. But if you don't like to smell like them do not buy this perfume. What's more is that the smell stays the same throughout the day, and the hours. I can smell no opening or drydown. It's always just figs. Very sweet figs.

The opening is very milky fig and coconut. Very creamy, smooth, and somewhat gourmand. It also has a very noticeable and bright green note rolling though. Slightly sharp or tart. Kind of like the inside of a snapped thin tree branch or a leaf crushed with your fingers. I am kind of blown away by how silky and smooth this opening is. So delightful. I want to bathe in it. The middle stays true to the opening. If anything the light green leafy smell is missing and I was expecting that to show up more as it dried down. The coconut slowly transforms into vanilla. So far this scent is both bright/energetic and warm/mysterious at the same time somehow. The dry down is still very similar to the middle. Fig and cool vanilla, with a hint of coconut. Slightly powdery in scent texture. But not like baby powder, more like powdered dairy creamer. The expensive kind. There is definitely a gourmand aspect. Not overly sweet but in a way that feels like you're drinking cold, thick cream. The green note has completely disappeared by this point. Projection stays strong until it becomes mostly a skin scent at about the 5-6 hour mark. But even then, the scent is still potent on the skin. The figgy/vanilla/coconut smell is detectable on my skin for 12+ hours. What an absolutely incredible fragrance. I'm so impressed. This is exactly what I want to smell on warm days at the beach or sitting under the shade of a tree in a grassy park on a sunny afternoon. So lovely and inviting. If I had any critiques it would be that I wish that green note would have lasted a little longer, but that's nitpicking. It leans feminine, but men can totally rock this. I know I will be.

The scent reminds me of my childhood. Every summer when I go back to my hometown to see my grandparents, there is a very old old fig tree. The scent is like a fig smoothie pureed with fig leaves and coconut milk. The opening is a slightly sour, bitter taste on the tip of the tongue, like the acrid smell blowing in the wind. It's like I'm sitting under a real fig tree. The first 10 minutes is the smell of ripe figs falling all over the garden, falling all over the yard. When the smell of ripe figs has just stopped, the wind blows again a whole fig tree full of green, sweet, and full of ants. Extremely refreshing and relaxing, just feel the symphony of the fig tree with ripe or unripe fruits. Mixed with that is the sweet and fragrant floral scent, although the ingredient list does not list any floral scents, but I feel it very clearly. maybe that greasy sweet smell comes from vanilla. Light sour, acrid, succulent, sweet, green, steamy, creamy, makes me extremely excited to relax A scent that is not really flattering, but very impressive, easy to remember, the smell of figs is very very real, extremely fresh, the smell of figs when drydown is very luxurious and relaxing. Sillage well, although it's creamy, but it's very good to use it in the summer.

I'm not a big fig fan, but I got a free sample of this with some decants of other TK fragrances (Coffee Addict and Tobacco Maniac, which are both INCREDIBLE). Given how good the coffee and tobacco fragrances are, I'm not surprised at the quality here--TK seems to specialize in hyper-realistic accords and Alluring Fig is no exception. There is vanilla underneath, but this is primarily a very green, very fresh fig scent, especially in the opening. In those first seconds, you could probably hold this up to someone who is blindfolded and they would think there was an actual fruit in front of them. Not just the fruit, but also the leaves, the branches, this is the whole fig tree. The vanilla starts to balance it out later on, but it doesn't turn it super sweet; it's more about adding depth. I'm still not a big fan of fig (as a scent; love to eat them), so this still isn't one for me, but anyone who likes fig as a note should absolutely try Alluring Fig. Try the whole house, actually; they're doing something different in the fragrance world and putting out really high quality, realistic scents. Addendum (3 hours later): Okay, this dries down into the most beautiful fig-tinged vanilla I've ever smelled and I'm absolutely getting a full bottle.

Alluring Fig by THEODOROS KALOTINIS is much more than your standard issue fare of single fig notes in BDK Gris Charnel, or Lattafas Liam Gray. Sure those are lovely fragrances that offer the wearer glimpses of sweet ripe fig, but Alluring Fig goes way beyond that. I never had the pleasure of living around an orchard of fig trees, but I can easily tell you what each part of the fig tree smells like from green leaf, bark, branch, sap to fruit because of the amazing progression of fragrance notes throughout the wearing of this magnificent fig parade. I’ll not bore those of you who are already familiar with this fragrance’s nuances step by step, but I will say that Alluring Fig fragrance had me beyond curious & amazed through each transitionary change as they occurred. The process was so well executed you would have thought it was a symphony being lead through each movement of an orchestral piece of music on exact cue. Alluring Fig; is an utterly brilliant, blooming olfactory composition. Incredibly vibrant, rich & pure. It begins boldly green yet elegant, and ends dreamily and softly balanced between textured fruit & vanilla cream intertwined. Alluring Fig is the purest definition of fig in it’s entirety, ever recorded in fragrance notes.

You're in a land inhabited by fae and other likewise forestry indwelling folk. They have their ways and you must abide by them. You look around and see a fig hanging from a tree, reaching out only to eat it, but a fruit is not just a means for nature to feed one's stomach, no– the whole process of the tree slowly but surely, gracefully and quite extravagantly sprouting out from a mere seed, with all its branches architecting themselves upon one another, and all the lush leaves taking shape and absorbing the sun, the myriad of ways the flowers bloom and let themselves be transformed into fruits; among all these processes the fruit is but one part, though the most alluring part it may seem for the hungry and unheeding. So they bottle up the essence of their ways and grant it to you, turning a blind eye to your ignorant ways. And behold! Upon smelling it you are taken in by the allure of all processes related to nature's eternal raveling and unraveling... In the beginning, it's an explosion of everything related to a fig. It's the whole ordeal of the vegetation, a complete reenactment. In the drydown, leaves a woody fig vanilla trail behind. Oh I will mend my ways, show the fig to me once more!

I think this is the most fitting name for a perfume I have ever seen. Alluring Fig is simply alluring. I really, really love the smell of fig and here it's executed in such a natural way that I had the impression of breaking apart the fresh leaves of fig with my hand. It smells a lot more like fig leaf than the fruit itself but that's a really big plus for me. I honestly am so allured by this fragrance, the initial spray is a burst of green freshness and as it dries down the sweetness starts to build up and beautifully balance this fragrance. Theodoros does vanilla in a very unique, balanced way. Unisex, leaning slightly feminine but incredibly easy to pull off by men as well. I genuinely can't believe the quality of the juice I got for this price. Mr. Kalotinis, you are a genuis. A beautiful Spring and Summer fragrance, although I believe that Spring is the ideal season for this one. Living in a really hot, humid climate myself; I'm happy to say that I'll be able to save this bottle for when the time is exactly right. So far I have four fragrances from the house but I can sense that pretty soon I will have their entire collection.

Mechawitch said it all. I am also a fig lover, this fruit gives me the chills as it melts in the mouth, ripe, sweet and warm, straight from the tree in a summer day under the hot sun. Highly erotic experience. And that's exactly how it smells. As a Greek from the island of Crete (just as the creator), I have memories of the smell of fig trees since I was a child. In the Greek islands whenever you pass near these trees you can detect the green sweetness in the hot Summer air. I think that this perfume is heavenly made and so accurate that is insane! The creaminess of the vanilla rounds the scent and matches perfectly the vibe of the fruit itself -something which is difficult to achieve in a perfume and never believed that could be possible. Only 3 notes and BOOM! Spray once, close your eyes and you will definitely hear some cicadas and waves crushing the shore, even in the middle of Winter. PERFECTION. P.S. I was hopelessly searching for an accurate straightforward fig perfume. When I discovered this masterpiece, I was in such a bliss that I immediately phoned Mr. Kalotinis to congratulate and thank him for his creation.

This is a really likable perfume. Figs are grown in my town so the taste and smell of them are familiar. This fragrance is basically a moment in time-it smells so realistically of fig. Every time I wear it, I get visions of honeyed figs and cream dessert. I feel like the word photorealistic is played out on this forum but it’s a good word to describe my experience with this brand thus far. This is the second fragrance I’ve tried from them and they’re SO good with these damn near hyperrealistic notes. Like, you can smell the wax on the fig leaf. It’s a very distinct green note that goes vanillic lotiony in the wear. If you compare this to Philosykos, you’ll find that it’s less of a refreshing green accord and more of a literal take on figs and fig leaf. Idk if I’m obsessed with the perfume or the artistry but, at the brand price point, I’d be willing to find out on my second FB buy from them.

Wow... well done Theodoros Kalotinis!!! I am truly impressed. A hyperrealistic fig with a gourmand-y flair. I’ve tried many fig fragrances (with Philosykos being my go-to) and can confidently say that this is some good, heavy stuff... Though I’m apprehensive to recommend this to lovers of Philosykos. Philosykos has a light and airy quality to it in both its EDT and EDP forms, which is part of its appeal. Meanwhile Alluring Fig behaves much like a cologne with more depth to it. A sweet, fig fragrance with good performance was exactly what I was looking for, and this delivers... but I’m contemplating if it’s safe as a signature or what kind of occasions I would personally wear this for. Again, it’s very strong and a little goes a long way with this stuff. I don’t know. It was only 55 USD for a full bottle on ScentSplit. Either way I’m *very* satisfied with my purchase and give it a thumbs up.

Tl;dr: Fig leaf soaked in a tall glass of milk On my fig journey I stumble across this and what a pleasant surprise. I love fig and I love vanilla. This is the perfect marriage of those 2 accords. The opening you get blasted with the green note of fig leaf and the sweet scent of vanilla. As it dries down, the green aspect slowly dwindle too while vanilla remains strong. The slight bitterness from the fig leaf combining with sugary vanilla makes the profile almost chocolatey - the artisan ones with dried fruit in it. Mind you, I classify this frag as vanilla one not fig because vanilla stays consistent throughout the wear, while the green note is strongest during the opening and soon takes the backseat during dry down Overall, I'm impressed and bought a full bottle. The longevity is decent for the price (6+ hour). The sillage is small just barely over skin scent.

Alluring Fig has to be one of the most interesting and unusual fragrances I have ever sampled. It really does smell like green leaves and slightly unripe fig, with a sharp, not sweet vanilla accord that's a little salty, a little vegetal. I could see how this might become addictive. It's very different from the fig I have smelled in other, more gourmandy scents (La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu, for instance). This doesn't smell like a perfume to me at all, but it smells appealing and even addictive. It smells like you're walking the grounds of some picture-perfect Mediterranean resort. Truly gorgeous and unusual; I'm going to try to hold onto this as my "reference fig." I do get a touch of banana peel, but it just adds to that resort vibe.

The most beautiful and realistic Fig scent I have ever come across! Born and raised in the Greek countryside where fig trees are everywhere (I dare say the most delicious figs you have ever tasted and take my word for it) I think, I have the prerogative to know what a true ripe fig in the warm August, smells and tastes like. And that's exactly IT!!!! I am so happy finally, after years of searching for this amazing Fig smell, I found it in a perfume creation by a compatriot! Bravo Mr. Kalotini!! P.S.: It has nothing in common with Philosykos that is quite sour for a fig perfume. The closest I can think of is the discontinued Sous Le Figuier by M. Micallef and still, not really. Simply Amazing!!!!

Wow I LOVE this perfume! On first spray it is very green and smells very true to a fig leaf. I have heard some people say they smell freshly cut grass in the opening, and honestly I can get that vibe too- but I can definitely tell it’s a fig leaf. As it starts to dry down it transforms more into a super realistic fig scent, somewhere between green/fresh and sweet. About an hour into wear the vanilla really comes out on my skin and I am left with a beautiful, creamy, realistic vanilla fig scent. I really enjoy the transformation this fragrance goes through! I get a pretty long wear time from this, about 8 (sometimes more) hours.

The fragrance opens very green – like when you smell a freshly broken fig branch. At first, I was a bit worried about how it would develop, because the scent of the fresh tree was really intense and didn’t give the slightest hint that it could turn into a delicious vanilla-fig sweetness. But after about half an hour, it starts to become sweeter, creamier, and not only do the ripe, sweet figs appear, but also gorgeous vanilla and coconut milk. It’s divine! It may seem rather innocent, but it actually has quite a presence, and just when you think it’s gone, a gust of wind reminds you of it in full strength.

#1090 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Bought this for a girlfriend but I'm hoping she doesn't like it so I can keep it. I concur with the others who say it reminds them of Gris Charnel and Lattafa Liam. I have both, but this is a simpler fig scent and I actually like it that way. The fig leaf in this works better than the black tea note in Gris and Liam, at least for me, giving it some green without the bitter of the tea. Car pool, elevator and small office safe. Year rounder. Versatile for any wear. A successful blind buy for me whether she likes it or I get to keep it for myself ; ).

It opens up really fresh smelling and green, almost like freshly cut grass with a hint of soap. It's not a sweet, ripe, fig, but the cut stem of a green baby fig and fig leaf. On my skin, after about 3 hours the vanilla really stands out. Growing up in the Mediterranean and walking past fig trees on my way home, I've associated this scent with summer. I wouldn't call this alluring, but it's very natural smelling and pleasant (and to me, almost nostalgic). Longevity is good, I can still smell it on my wrist after 6 hours and I only did a spritz.

Good gawd this is soo good! it is fruity, yet earthy w/ fig leaves and the fruit. hands down if you love fig you NEEED this! dry down is sweeter - creamy vanilla fig. gaahhh. sooo nice. *just to add -- I dare say -- this is better than my favorite fig Philosykos. I love the coconut and fig combo in the Diptyque, but sadly it doesn't last. Alluring Fig is that same lovely fig but stronger, creamier, sweeter and .... it lasts longer. It doesn't have coconut, but it is just lovely and if not better.

Oh man, Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis really blew me away! It's like sitting under a fig tree on a scorching July day, just the perfect blend of fresh and creamy. And while the packaging might seem a bit plain Jane, don't be fooled. The scent is a total knockout. Can't wait to rock this fragrance again and get back to those cool fig tree vibes!

This is a very realistic and quite unique fig scent, that every fan of this note should try out. It opens up with a blast of very green, fresh fig leaves. Later on, the milky, slightly sweet fruit comes into play and shortly thereafter, a creamy vanilla envelops the composition, rounding it up. I like Alluring Fig for its duality - incredibly fresh opening and smooth, sweet, almost buttery dry-down. I have a few fig fragrances in my collection and I'm very happy that Alluring Fig is one of them.

I have finally found my holy grail fig scent! I have tried so many from niche brands and indie brands and this one has everything I want. The first spritz hits you with a blast of GREEN. It's leafy and you can almost smell the fresh soil on the fig (I know they come from trees but stay with me here), with a hint of vanilla. Then it dries down to a juicy, pulpy fig with vanilla cream. This fragrance goes through so many phases and it's wonderful during each one. And the price is wonderful too.

This is so interesting! Very green fig (like, the whole tree) and vanilla? What?? But once it’s on, it’s a really beautiful, totally unique freshie. The vanilla is juuuuust sweet enough to make this truly unisex; otherwise, without any sweetness, it would lean masculine, at least on me. It lasts all day, even longer on clothes, with an intimate projection. I can see this one being office friendly. I’m blown away by how unique and sophisticated this is at such an affordable price.

opens up an eye-wateringly sharp green with vanilla, an unexpected combination that surprisingly works well. it's honestly a really beautiful scent, despite the harsh green, I would never get an entire bottle because I wouldn't wear it often, but wow, this is a fantastic fragrance, esPECIALLY after the fig settles down a bit and you get a nice creamy green vanilla. i respect anyone who pulls this off. 9/10 update: i got a whole bottle of it. go out of your comfort zone this year.

this reminds me of growing up in nigeria and buying star apples in stalls outside of school. specifically the burst of flavor you get when you chew the skin of the star apple, this lasts a few hours before dry down into a sweet and creamy vanilla that’s a little reminiscent of “Sweet Tooth” by Sabrina Carpenter. all this to say this will be going on my green list and i will be purchasing a bottle very soon as i only have a sample as of now.

Theodoros' perfumes are strong and realistic and this is no exception. Hyperrealistic juicy fig, green and a tad sweet. One spray fills the entire room. Vanilla kicks in gradually and mellows it out. I actually like both stages equally. I'm very impressed at the quality of these perfumes, beautifully made, simple really, but executed very well. Performance is stellar too, and they're very affordable. Happy to have found this house.

Really lovely green vanilla but I can’t detect the fig. It is powdery verging on salty. Maybe that’s how the fig develops on my skin. But I still really love the scent. I also love the price point and the power and longevity of the perfume. This is the second perfume I’ve tried from this brand and I really want to get some of their other products. The quality is way better than the price would have you believe. 9/10 Overall

I blind bought this, sprayed this and was taken back by the green note.. it was a super realistic smell of pulling out weeds of the garden and smelling the stems. BUT THEN, that went away after 5 min and this beautiful Vanilla came through and holy shit I love this. Its creamy vanilla pudding with a light fig and green background. Its one of a kind! Youll smell unique and amazing. Cant stop smelling myself

Compared to Philosykos and Figue by Molinard this lasts longer and projects better too. Philosykos is greener and resembles the whole tree, Figue is more flowery and aromatic. This is slightly sweeter and somehow spicy with a fresh character. The drydown is something like a green vanilla that reminds of crushed fig leaves. Essential for fans of fig fragrances and those who like green unisex scents.

This is great. A good dose of fig and pure vanilla. I can distinguish the coconut too, but it mainly supports the sweetness of the vanilla. Everything is wonderful, still my nose needs to get used to this combination. I can't tell if this is vanilla-scented fig or fig-scented vanilla. I'm used to fig in fresh summer fragrances, this is not like that. An absolute hit for green vanilla lovers💚.

I'll agree with the majority of positive comments here. This is a very realistic fig and for the first 2hours it keeps its fresh and green nature, with the vanilla playing a secondary role. After that, the roles switch. It's like going from spring summer to fall and winter type of vanilla fig, and it's equally as good. I love how this evolves, it's unique, and it lasts surprisingly much!

photorealistic fig scent, closer to the leaf than to the fruit. sillage and longevity are insane!!! this is an absolute dream for fig lovers like me 💕 however, take into account that this perfume is more green than it is milky or fruity (unlike other perfumes that include the fig note). I'm gobsmacked by how accurate this is, it's just like smelling a leaf straight from the fig tree.

Dabbing this on, my first impression was -- woah, that's GREEN! A few minutes later, its bitter, fresh greenness pulls away to reveal an undertone of fruity vanilla. The green is still there -- the leaves haven't left, just made a little room. The vanilla is DELICIOUS with the fig note. I keep pausing to take deeeep sniffs of my arm as I type. Suuuch a good smell.

Gorgeous , amazing scent ! It’s not a linear smell of a just sickly sweet , ripe fig , it opens more green, then gets sweeter like the inside of a fig with vanilla .. The perfumer really translated the notes listed to this perfume , and being a Greek like him it reminds me so much the smell of August breeze through fig trees on islands .. Thank you mr.Kalotinis !

So so so so green! It takes me back exactly to being in my childhood garden at four years old. Pinch of sweetness from the vanilla and the fruit of the fig. But mostly leaves. Unsure how I would feel wearing this without layering. Reminds me of sitting in a university courtyard surrounded by ivy-covered brick buildings. Would suggest this to my mom.

I’m on a bit of a fig journey currently, and some “green” fig fragrances have been too harsh or medicinal for my liking, but this one is very different! While it definitely has a punchy, green, slightly-minty opening, the soft vanilla balances it out well. I’m intrigued to see how this performs in different seasons but am really digging it so far!

On my skin it starts with a beautiful fig leaf, very realistic. Green, with strong tannins. It smells exactly like a fig tree that got hot under the sun in july at noon. After an hour it smells mostly like vanilla, which is a shame because I love the fig. A very gourmand vanilla, like ice cream, and the fig leaf is almost unnoticeable.

I love this perfume so much. it's a really leafy fig but the dry down is so sweet and subtle. i can see comparisons to philosykos, but for the price point, this is my number 1 pick! Philosykos is a bit smoother, while AF is greener and then has a vanilla dry down. both are wonderful fig scents!

I just love this charming Greek house. Alluring Fig is probably my favorite fig fragrance. It's creamy, but not too sweet, but also not astringent in anyway; I find that fig has a tendency to go in that astringent direction. Great use of ingredients for the price as well.

Without a doubt the most photorealistic fig leaf/fig tree scent on the market. It smells exactly like a fig tree in full bloom. With the beautiful creamy vanilla dry down this is a must have for any fig lovers out there. Absolutely stunning.

Wonderful very realistic fig and fig leaf scent. Lasts 12 hours + for me. Very enjoyable, full bottle worthy. Great for spring and summer fragrance for men. Definitely a nice change from aquatic, citrus, and berry scents.

This has the most amazing and realistic fig leaf note. This is like 100% fig leaf. I don't get the actual fig scent or the vanilla. I love this regardless. This smells like a wet fig leaf pressed against my nose.

This wins over Philosykos: stunning green fig scent: Greek summer in a bottle. It can be layered with Kayali vanilla 28 to make it sweeter, but it's perfect on its own. A big, big love. Bravo Kalotinis!

I love this one despite its major flaw - the notes don't blend together. Nevertheless it's a fresh green fig leaf on a very sweet vanilla bed, there is no intersection though. Still, I like it a lot.

To me this one is the best out of 6 I have tried. I am getting complements every time I wear it. I would say it is more like green fig leaves. Very and truly unisex. I love it in the summer time.

I love the green stem fig scent mixed with the rich vanilla, and it projects! I have been layering this with Spicebomb Fresh (discontinued) and together, they create an absolute stunner!
