Apple Pie

Sampling Theodoros Kalotinis Apple Pie, a 2025 release with notes designed to mimic the smell of the dessert itself—namely, apple, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, and general breadiness. My initial impression is that this is very well-executed, accurate and easily lovable, with only the slightest suggestion of something along the lines of a body wash or candle, otherwise frankly unusually well-refined for a gourmand, jumping immediately to the upper echelon of gourmand fragrances, even perhaps among the house’s own catalogue, with Coffee Addict being their biggest standout to date, to me. It’s really both quite delicious and accurate but also wearable, not overly sweet, and not overbearing. Performance-wise, it’s not as robust as Coffee Addict or perhaps a couple of other strong entries, but it certainly does not leave me wanting more in terms of projection from the onset, and the longevity seems good from what I can tell so far. This is EDP concentration, and in the US, is sold via Luckyscent, at a frankly astounding price of $60 for 50ml, almost unheard of in the current market for niche perfumery in general and perhaps anything else sold by Luckyscent, so it’s really an outlier in terms of modern pricing. I’d categorize this as a must-try for gourmand lovers, a really splendid and exciting execution of the concept of apple pie in fragrance that’s both accurate and wearable. 8 out of 10

The apple pie escaped the dish, went out got drunk, but remained on it's best behaviour. The dough is much more buttery here, the apple is more lively and the spices are more generous. So far this is the best interpretation of a dessert by Kolotinis and my favorite so far. Enough sillage, enough lasting power, good gourmand.

This smells amazing. It’s the perfect holiday fragrance. It smells the way the very best apple pie should smell. Tart apple, doughy pastry, holiday spice. Immediately added to my cart.

A delicious scent, perfect for Christmas. It's literally a freshly baked apple pie with tart apples and a generous amount of cinnamon. The dominant cinnamon might remind you a bit of last year's Cinnamon Rolls. The apple note is interesting because they're not overly sweet but slightly tart. There's also a slightly waxy note and after a while, I realize Apple Pie smells like a Yankee Candle Christmas candle with the scent of baked apples and cinnamon. This doesn't bother me because I love being surrounded by such scents in December. Unlike Gingerbread Dough, Apple Pie lasts quite long on the skin. It's probably the longest-lasting in the new TK line. 8/10

This is probably the most festive, best suited for Winter holidays scent that I've ever tried. It beats any other perfume on the market when it comes to the characteristic holiday scents. Yes, or is a lot like a Fall/,Christmas candle and I love it. It is spices and a little bit of tart apple. Does not smell like baked goods or like apple pie to me. I detect no butter or flour notes. However, it had something that reminds me of a fir tree quite a bit. Lovely and festive, and a must have for those who love theme scents and gourmand leaning perfumes.

Very "Christmas Appropriate" scent. Prominent apple with cinnamon and sugar. No apple "pie" detected, so this doesn't go to Sora Dora Jany area. This is more like the apple in Kayali Eden Juicy Apple on steroids with a lot of cinnamon. Very pleasant smell but I am not sure if i want to grab a full bottle of it. It's not too too different from Khamrah for example which is perfume that for double the quantity costs half the price of Kalotinis. It reminds me of a scent from my childhood but I just can't put my finger around it!

Smells like every apple pie or apple crisp candle/air freshener on the market. Simple

This reminds me of a hot cinnamon jelly bean in perfume form. It’s very cinnamon-forward with a hint of tart apple. I don’t quite get an “apple pie”- I wish it had a touch more sweetness - but overall it’s not a bad fragrance. It’s also holding up really well so far, and it layers nicely with vanilla scents.

A cinnamon apple bomb! Super apple forward, a little bit plasticky, almost reminiscent of a craft store holiday section from the cinnamon. I wish I got any of the buttery, bready, or flakey notes that would normally come with an apple pie scent! Not my fave TK scent, but it's still exciting for the holidays!

I get more of the green apple, sugar and butter, but not much cinnamon. It smells exactly like Pear Gelato from the same brand. It's not the apple pie I was expecting.

Smells exactly like an apple pie candle, even down to a bit of a waxy scent.

Sad day..... This smells EXACTLY like a holiday candle/freshener from hobby lobby or some store. I was expecting different ... Not for me. This house has great quality and I like the brand a lot. This is just a sad miss. Synthetic cinnamon that reminds me of a bathroom freshener we grew up using in our bathroom.

This smells like a cinnamon apple air freshener, where the apple is too artificially fresh for this to read as gourmand

This is not a photorealistic apple pie, this is literally spiced apple candle. Specifically this smells exactly like a Xmas themed candle from the brand 'Yankee Candle' from a few years ago.. the red wax ones. tl;dr a photorealistic Christmas themed candle. No dough, pastry, butter, nothing (also Jany voters...seriously? lol). Smells like like a $25 candle. end of. Easy pass.

I'm sooo bummed out! I was excited to try out this perfume, thinking I had found the ONE.. So I bought a sample, and thank God for that. I cannot smell the apple pie, I mean at all. The only thing I can smell is some kind of flower and a little bit of flour, there is nothing similar to apple pie in this perfume!! :(

I can tell there’s an edible, “pie-like” vibe in there, but it still feels like someone ate the apples before this was released. The price shouldn’t excuse the lack of depth, and honestly I feel a bit betrayed.

Fresh and juicy...very realistic one and sooo good for autumn. Apples are so real as if i am baking them in the oven with some cinnamon and butter. Yummy perfume
