Cinnamon Rolls

Before I peruse this perfume; I have to say one tip: If you have noticed, most brands in the world; put a symbol and a mark on their product, and people, by recognizing that symbol and mark; even if they do not know the name of that brand, guess that the product in question was from a certain brand. For example; consider the perfume brand of Amouage. Most of this brand have oriental notes including frankincense, benzoin, and myrrh, and most of them are heavy perfumes with huge silage. Here too, the above paragraph is completely true: Theodoros Kalitonis' brand has introduced a very buttery and oily feeling in most of its works, and it can be said that it has somehow made this symbol its own signature. For example, in the perfume Pear Gelato and Lemon Tart; you will encounter a buttery and very oily at first. This perfume is the same. It has a oily and completely buttery immediately after spraying and this smell may not be pleasant for most people; But fortunately, this initial note disappears after about 10 minutes and is replaced by a very delicious and appetizing smell, which is the same as cinnamon roll. Theodoros Kalitonis has recreated the smell of cinnamon roll very, very well, and when you smell the middle note of this perfume, you feel like you just bit into a cinnamon roll and you can smell that cinnamon and sugar and the smell of bread in your nose. I can say that if you are interested in gourmand and edible perfumes; you will almost certainly like this perfume and it will be added to your perfume purchase list; the only negative point in my opinion is the oily and very buttery initial note of the perfume; otherwise it will be very fragrant after 10 minutes. In terms of silage and longevity, both of these are average and neither too much nor too little. In terms of gender, I also think it is a unisex perfume. قبل از اینکه در مورد این عطر نقد کنم؛ یک نکته رو باید بیان کنم: ا اگر توجه کرده باشید اکثر برندهای دنیا؛ یک نشان و علامتی رو در محصولات خود قرار میدهند که افراد با شناسایی اون علامت و نشان؛ حتی اگر اسم اون برند رو ندانند حدس میزنند که محصول مورد نظر از فلان برند بوده است.ا به عنوان مثال؛ برند عطر امواژ را در نظر بگیرید. اکثر کارهای این برند نتهای شرقی شامل کندر و بنزویین و مردارند و اکثرا عطرهای سنگینی هستند و پخش بوی خیلی زیادی هم دارند در اینجا هم مورد فوق کاملا صدق میکنه: برند تیودوروس کالیتونیس در اکثر کارهایش یک حس کره ای و چرب خیلی زیاد رو وارد کرده و میشه گفت که این نماد رو یک جورایی امضا خودش کرده. به عنوان مثال در عطر پیر ژلاتو از همین برند و نیز عطر لمون تارت برند کالیتونیس؛ شما با شروعی کره ای و خیلی چرب مواجه خواهید بود. این عطر هم به همین منوال هست. شروعی چرب و کاملا کره ای داره وبویی هست که شاید مورد پسند اکثر افراد نباشه؛ ولی خوشبختانه این نت ابتدایی بعد از حدود ۱۰ دقیقه از بین میره و جایش رو به یک بوی بسیار خوشمزه و اشتها اور که همون نان رولی دارچینی باشه؛ میده.ا تیودوروس کالیتونیس بوی رول دارچینی رو بسیار بسیار عالی بازسازی کرده و شما با بوییدن نت میانی این عطر این حس بهتون دست میده که لحظاتی قبل یک رول دارچینی رو گاز زدید و بوی اون دارچین و شکر و بوی آلدیید نان رو در بینی خود حس میکنید. میتونم بگم اگر شما به عطرهای گورماند و خوراکی علاقه مند هستید؛ به احتمال قریب به یقین از این عطر خوشتان خواهد آمد و به لیست خرید عطرهایتون اضافه خواهد شد ( تنها نکته ی منفی از نظر من همون نت اولیه ی چرب و بشدت کره ای عطر هست) از نظر پخش و ماندگار هم هر دوی این موارد در حد متوسط هستند و نه زیاد است و نه کم. از نظر جنسیت هم به نظر من عطری یونیسکس میباشد.ا

Theodoros Kalotinis Cinnamon Rolls is a 2024 release and fitting representation of the dessert, capturing the spiciness of cinnamon itself quite specially, with additional notes of sugar, butter, vanilla glaze, and Melomakarona (Greek cookie). I think it does a very good job of densely blending the sweet and spicy with just a pinch of sharp almost citric vanilla in the mix to give the impression of a glaze. I think it’s very well done and an instant love for delivering on the concept, being pleasant, and high-performing. This might be my second favorite of the house (that I’ve tried so far) after Coffee Addict, very special stuff, sort of a cousin of Tijon Le Bebe, a special scent inspired by the similarly composed cinnamon roll King Cakes of Mardi Gras in the US. As with most of the line, it’s EDP concentration, priced at $55 for 50ml, really outstanding for a niche company in the current market, and I believe the entire collection is sold in the US exclusively at Luckyscent, which is where I obtained my sample online. 8 out of 10

TK back at it again with a photorealistic gourmand. Smells exactly like freshly iced cinnamon rolls still hot from the oven. Warm, gooey, cozy, spicy and sweet. At first spray, as well as for the first couple of hours, it's cream cheese frosting and cinnamon sugar. As you progress throughout the wear, it maintains the frosting and cinnamon scent while gaining distinct dough and butter notes. For the latter half of the wear, the cream cheese/buttercream aspect fades but the other notes remain strong. I didn't pick up on any distinguishable honey or biscuit notes. This perfume lasted somewhere between seven and eight hours on me. Overall, this is a lovely gourmand that is perfect for the fall/winter months and isn't too sweet att all. It's truly amazing, the realism and quality that Theodoros achieves at this price point.

I have been so surprised by Theodoros Kalotinis perfumes. This was one of the ones I really didn't think I would like. But turns out I love it! However this does not smell like cinnamon rolls to me. I do get the cinnamon, but it smells more like a cup of warm frothy cinnamon milk, or even a cinnamon heavy chai latte. On skin the biscuit note does appear a little bit, wich I don't care too much for. But on paper and clothes this is warm frothy cinnamon milk and I adore it. Maybe it's the butter note that gives it that warm frothy milk feeling. I will be getting a full bottle of this and wearing it all fall. My boyfreind agrees with the warm cinnamon drink aspect of it, but he gets mulled wine. Funny how our noses are so different.

THIS IS WONDERFUL. I love cinnamon, but beneath the cinnamon is butter, vanilla, yeasty soft sweet roll. It's putting me in a good mood just smelling my wrist after a long day at work. I am buying a full bottle. This house is fantastic at gourmands. Pistachio Latte was similarly wonderful. Like PL, this one is fairly linear -- the cinnamon is stronger and sharper on first spray and fades a little over time to create a better balance with the butter/vanilla/bread. Sillage and longevity are medium. Radiates around an arm's length on skin and a bit more on clothes and hair. Lasts 2-3 hours on me, a bit longer on my clothes. Anyway, it's wonderful. I may have to try everything from this house.

I've blind bought this one. While I think it's great for the value - pretty cheap so you cannot complain to be honest, is nice that at this price there are creators who put on the market nice fragrances -, I have to say that the most I get from this is cinnamon essential oil. That's it, and maybe a bit of butter. Keep in mind when buying that he is creating NATURAL FRAGRANCES and is using high quality essential oils, so that's the reson behind. After 30 min - 1h I can still feel something sweet but then it fades away completely (on my skin, at least). But still, I don't regret having it and I really appreciate his perfumes. Love it :)

this doesn't exactly smell like a cinnamon roll, but more like the different varieties of cookies and pastries eaten around europe during christmas- sweet, very buttery and slightly spicy. theodoros kalotinis website lists melomakarona as one of the notes, which is a greek desert eaten around christmas flavored with honey and cinnamon. the buttery note really stands out to me. very smooth scent. edit: I LOVE the scent but I developed an allergy to this (skin rashes) and my skin is usually not sensitive to fragrance :(

This was absolutely love at first smell!! I was seriously blown away by this from the moment it hit my nose. A lot of reviews here are correct, it's not exactly a cinnamon roll. More of a flaky, buttery apple pie with heavy cinnamon, or maybe an oatmeal cookie fresh out the oven. Personally this is the best "baked" gourmand smell I have ever tried, it's absolutely stunning and an extremely comforting autumn scent. Agree with another review who said this would be perfect as a candle I hope they come out with one.

This is a sweet, yummy gourmand. I definitely get the cinnamon (not sure there is any one signature scent for cinnamon rolls), sugar, caramel, honey, vanilla -- yup. Not sure about the butter. It does not smell synthetic and isn't cloying. It is mild and comforting like chai or spiced tea. That said, and I love this genre, it is more of a skin scent, with little sillage from what I can tell and lasts only about two hours. So, liberally re-spray! I will continue to get it and enjoy it.

Love this. Perfect for fall and winter. I personally don’t get cinnamon rolls at all—it doesn’t have that "freshly baked," "in the oven," or "passing by a Cinnabon" scent I was expecting. But as someone who’s Mexican, it instantly reminded me of Champurrado—a traditional chocolate-cinnamon drink. If you love champurrado, you will absolutely adore this. It smells exactly like it—warm, cozy, and spicy. Great performance on my skin, too; it lasts beautifully.

Okay so i just got the full bottle today and i have to say i love it. I was afraid it was way too strong on the cinnamon but it’s just perfect. The opening is very buttery, and after a couple of minutes you start getting more cinnamon. Very gourmand and delicious. The price is very nice too. The only problem is that it doesn’t last at all 🥲 i will have to overspray i guess...

9/10 this smells wonderful. it's kind of the vibe that buttercream cakes have, and then a spice vibe that christmas cookies usually have. it smells like an average theodoros fragrance, it's super warm with no brightness. it's not a perfect cinnamon roll, but it is absolutely an amazing gourmand. but it is very very similar to other ones from him. i'm so glad i found this

Blast of cream cheese icing followed by buttery gooey cinnamon and roll. The top notes don’t last long though and it becomes a skin scent in about 20 minutes. Smells yummy but wish it would project more past the twenty minute mark. After that its a cinnamon sugar scent.

Got my sample today. It's sticky sweet, buttery and heavy on the cinnamon. It definitely gives melomakarono (greek honey cake) vibes, which makes it the perfect cozy festive scent for Christmas. I will get the full bottle ASAP.

Starts off with sweet cinnamon which then moves into butter vanilla during its short lifespan. Yummy for the hour that it lasts. Still, a very happy fragrance and I can't stop spraying and sniffing myself over and over :)

It’s the exact same delicious smell of walking past a Cinnabon store. If someone smells you they would think there is a cinnabon store close by. It’s sooo yummy

Delightful, not as heavy as I expected from a gourmand cinnamon roll scent.

A beautiful dry cinnamon and vanilla scent, not to sweet , very balanced

The opening of this perfume made me want to buy the whole bottle. It smells exactly like the name promises – a very realistic cinnamon roll. The opening is a buttery cinnamon roll, more like a cake just before it's baked. Gradually the scent transforms into the aroma of a finished cake. The vanilla sugar is more noticeable but the cinnamon remains the most prominent throughout, which I really like because I love cinnamon. The scent is very cinnamony, indeed, wonderfully cinnamony. Unfortunately the charm wears off too quickly. The projection is initially quite intense, fades rapidly after an hour and after two hours it's completely gone. It's the same with another TK fragrance – Gingerbread Dough, with which Cinnamon Rolls shares a similar vibe, not only in terms of composition. A strong even excellent start and after two hours you're wondering where the scent went? Too bad. It's worth trying if you like cinnamon and Christmas in a bottle but not necessarily worth spending money on a whole bottle. Edit: After several extensive tests, I've changed my mind about the performance. I initially misjudged it, but maybe the frosty weather isn't doing it any favors. As the weather changed, I discovered that the longevity is much longer. The projection fades after an hour, but the scent itself lingers on the skin for about 5-6 hours. For me, that's reason enough to buy this perfume. 8/10

My ninth review on Fragrantica is coming with a fragrance that Edulge kindly added to my Pick 'n' Mix order as a free sample, however, I have seen a few people mention this on Tiktok before so I'm glad that I'm getting the opportunity to sample it. The opening actually made me laugh - this is a super realistic cinnamon roll scent. The reason I found it funny was because sometimes fragrances say they're something, and they're not - Bianco Latte for example which I wrote a review on yesterday. However, this is exactly what it says on the tin. The opening is slightly more creamy/buttery, which almost feels like the cinnamon rolls have just been taken out of the oven. Overall, it just smells great and you get exactly what you ask for. I hate how people throw the word 'gourmand' out as soon as they see caramel or vanilla as a note. Sweet doesn't mean edible. However, I can confidently say this fragrance is the closest thing to edible I have ever smelt. I'll update this later today in regard to performance. Performance was okay - I got 4 hours out of this fragrance until it became a skin scent, but at £40, you can't really complain. I hope this helps.

The final scent in my gourmand decant order, and I had high hopes for this one. This is not an ooey-gooey, fresh-out-the-oven cinnamon roll I was dreaming of. There’s no glazed icing drip, no warm, sugary dough steam hitting your face when you open the oven. No. Instead It smells like you’re rolling out the zingy dough, dusting it with cinnamon, still in the cooking prep phase. Not unpleasant by any means, and it smells deeply nostalgic. Like Christmas at grandma’s. Though I can’t exactly put my finger on the memory it’s pulling from. Still, bonus points for that. So is it bad? No. Is it the ultra-sweet, hyper-gourmand masterpiece I was after? Also no. I’ll probably bust this out once or twice a year, for December when I'm in the mood, but the hunt continues. One day, I will find my holy grail: a scent that smells like you just pulled gooey cinnamon rolls out of the oven and face-planted into them. Today is not that day.

Si tuviese que describirlo con algo más cotidiano, diría que tiene varias similitudes: arroz con leche recién preparado, con ramas de canela y canela en polvo, mucha de ella, humeante y cálido con el alma; natillas caseras, con una galleta maría encima y con canela en polvo; y por último, a una leche endulzada con canela y limón (que venden en mercadona) sin el toque de limón. Es un perfume que tiene dualidad, a algunos no les gusta esa potencia de la canela, pero a mí en lo personal es increíble y único.

I like this. I don't normally gravitate towards realistic gourmands but I developed a strong craving for a cinnamon dessert perfume. It doesn't smell like cinnamon rolls the way I know them, though. When I think "cinnamon roll" I think freshly baked dough, buttery syrupy cinnamon filling, sugar glaze. The baked good vibe is there in the background, but the main note for me is just very aromatic fresh cinnamon. And of course it's really sweet. As for the performance, I'm normally quite easy to please and I actually don't like beast mode perfumes – but this is definitely weak. I can't smell anything beyond the 2 hour, maybe 3 hour mark. I don't think it projects whatsoever, to be honest. I don't catch any random whiffs of it at all. I have to put my nose right up to where I sprayed it.

This is actually one of the most realistic gourmands I have ever smelled. This is cinnamon rolls before you have put them in the oven, when you have lathered the dough in too much butter, sugar and just a sprinkle of cinnamon. The butter note is very prominent, but it is actually very smooth and not as nauseating as I feared. In company with the sugar and cinnamon this is actually making me salivate. Even though I did in fact blind buy a full bottle of this I do not regret it as much as I thought I would. It is maybe a tad too sweet, but come on, it is a gourmand after all, what can I expect? The longevity and sillage is great, and you can’t really put a gender to a cinnamon bun? TLDR; If you are a gourmand lover and want to try this because of the name, do it. It delivers.

Delicious. Probably the most delicious cinnamon based scent I have tried. I know there have been plenty of them released so this might discourage you from trying yet another cinnamon scent. But if you love gourmands, you might love it just like I do. Out of all cinnamon scents, this does truly smell like a sweet treat. I almost get that delicious sweet doughey flavour one could expect from an actual cinnamon roll. However, my only wish it was stronger, with more projection and lasting power. Other Kalotinis creations pack a stronger punch than this. However, it is still worth it!

upon initial spray, the full cinnamon roll scent is there and its beautiful, i get the cinnamon and sweetness and the warmth and the cream cheese frosting. however, within a few minutes of drying down, most of that fades away and just leaves a cinnamon sugar scent, with none of the initial frosting tang and warmth. it isnt bad by any means, and i think it will be nice for the fall, but if you want the full gooey warm roll experience then this does fall a little short. it stays close to the skin, and seems to last about an hour and a half or so on me before i need to reapply

Edible! This fragrance is the dream of any realistic gourmand lover out there. It smells exactly like a warm cinnamon loaf. I don't pick up on the cream accord, but I definitely feel the warm feeling that is probably given by the combination of the bread notes, butter, and cinnamon. There’s nothing complex about this scent profile, but it's really cozy and delicious, perfect for colder days. I can smell it on myself for hours. For its price, I can't complain about the projection either.

I shipped over 50 perfumes while moving to another country, and only this one got stolen on the way. Moreover, it's the only thing that has ever been stolen from me, aside from the time I got pickpocketed in a mall when I was 11 and came home to realize my Nokia N96 was gone. The customs officers literally ignored all the expensive stuff, like my Balenciaga bags, and stole only this. That, or I accidentally forgot it in a cupboard. Anyway, smells like Cini Minis.

i was expecting this to be overwhelmingly loud and sweet but.. it's quite reserved? both babepdx and averycj hit the nail on the head saying it smells more like the prep work of the raw dough and cinnamon, it's a rather cold fragrance. definitely super christmas-y! kind of feels like an expensive candle a rich person would light during the holidays. i love it and think it'd be a perfect winter scent if it wasn't for the poor longevity. overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷🩷🖤 4/5

This is one of those scents you have to let dry down. Upon spray it's custard and red hots candy, but after about 15 minutes, it all makes sense. This turns to creamy icing sugar and doughy cinnamon. It's kinda wild. It's not super sweet and not overpowering. This is going to be a banger in the winter. I'm thinking combined with Angel Share this would be next level. A+ for photorealism.

You can imagine the cinnamon rolls but to me it smells more like just a cookie coated in cinnamon sugar. Has no sillage at all it lasts up to an hour close to skin. After an hour I wasn’t able to smell on my skin at all and just a bit of cinnamon was left on my shirt. Recommend getting a decant if you can but it’s not a daily scent because of the poor longevity

It doesn't smell like cinnamon rolls, but more like cinnamon donuts or cookies? The real cinnamon roll has the most addictive smell that I just cannot get enough. However, this perfume didn't capture that in my opinion. Nevertheless, it's still a pleasant, delicious and festive dessert scent. Great for this time of the year :)

I wish I could love it more as cinnamon rolls addict. For the first 30 minutes it smells to me like cheap artificial vanilla extract. After some time it gives of those cinnamon notes but it's not what expected - it smells more like vanilla cookie dough with lots of ceylon (bitter and spicy) cinnamon sprinkled on.

to me, it does not smell buttery at all. the first hour is filled with a nice cream cheese frosting/yogurt scent with a spicy chai latte profile. personally i think this fragrance should be described as sitting in a cafe with a chai latte and a cheesecake. very strong sillage and good longevity!

I like this on its own, but I love it together with a stronger, warm caramel vanilla gourmand like Bianco Latte or Escapade Gourmand 😍 On its own I think it pulls a bit more "cinnamon rum" than cinnamon bun, but with layering it turns into a photorealistic cinnamon bun 😋

I’m confused by some of these reviews. I bought a sample of this and immediately bought a full bottle. To me this is delicious, sweet and creamy. It smells as it’s supposed to... of cinnamon rolls. I don’t think it lasts too long, maybe an hour or so, but I love it!

it really is a realistic cinnamon roll through and through even down to the cream cheese icing. i dont think there is ever an appropriate time to wear this other than a mood boost at home but that’s okay because its a work of art.

A fun concept perfume; realistic cinnamon pastry scent. For an EDP, it’s on the weak, two hour side for projection making this perfume work well in the cooler months of Fall and Spring.

Someone mentioned it smells like cinnamon oatmeal and that aspect is what I mainly notice now although it smells of a really delicious cinnamon oatmeal :)

It is a pleasant buttery dough with a lot of sugar and a little bit of cinnamon. I would buy it if it had more sillage and a better lasting power.

To me it smells like a really cinnamony and chocolately kind of cake. Really, really gourmand I I love it a lot. I rate it a 9.2/10

Oatmeal Chai Latte. No more - no less.

this was the TK scent i was looking forward to trying the most :( sadly a bit of a bummer for me. doesnt smell like what i expected (im an american so maybe my expectation of what dessert this is supposed to represent is different), which is fine, but i just dont like the smell that is present. it opens with a strong harsh cinnamon, and quickly becomes a cinnamon pastry with hints of butter and i think that is what put me off. what is making this gourmandy smells kinda sickly and fatty, and the dry down loses the cinnamon and so the sugary sickness is what youre left with. it isn't horrible (OK maybe the dry down might be) but def not my favorite

Just received my full bottle and I would say the first notes I get are an icing type of laconic note that drys down to a warm cinnamon oatmeal scent more than a cinnamon roll. This is one of my favorite perfume house so disappointed they didn’t nail a photorealistic cinnamon role scent, but it’s not bad, and definitely gourmand without being too sweet.

Smells like a cinnamon scented candle, but in a good way? Like an expensive fall or Christmas candle-baking spices with a waxy undertone. I also get oatmeal with cinnamon generously sprinkled on top.

I had high hopes for this fragrance because I am enjoying most of the scents from this house, but it comes across as more of a holiday room spray than perfume. It smells like a snickerdoodle candle.
