Gardenia

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Gardenia, and it's truly captivated me. At first spray, I was immediately transported to a lush garden on a warm summer evening, enveloped by the intoxicating scent of blooming gardenias. However, as the fragrance develops on my skin, it takes on a fascinating transformation. The gardenia note softens, giving way to a more powdery texture that adds a sophisticated, classic touch. This powdery quality is complemented by a growing vanilla presence, adding a warm, sweet depth to the scent. What really sets this fragrance apart is its beautiful evolution. The opening is a stunning, true-to-life gardenia note - rich, creamy, and intensely floral. It reminded me initially of Profumum Roma's Volo AZ 686 in its opulent white floral character. For those who love white florals but also appreciate a touch of powdery sweetness, this fragrance is a must-try. It strikes a perfect balance between fresh and cozy, making it versatile for various occasions.

It smells so good! Surprise for me because having tested many TK's scents I haven't found too many that I would like. But this is certainly one of those. Once I thought I'd like to get a full bottle of Plumeria because it is so special. Now I see that Gardénia is another such possibility, equally interesting and enjoyable. I generally don't like vanilla-based scents because they are just too sweet but this one is an exception. It was still on my hand the next day so it lasts long.

I didn't expect this would be the more powdery and vanillic version of Quelques fleurs L'Original, to my nose! And the sweet, floral and powdery scents are absolutely my cup of tea!!! So I'm very excited for this happy blind buy: it will be one of my favourite and most used fragrances in this hot summer!

I had to test this a few times, because the initial blast of powder, is a powder-bomb, however, literally about five minutes later, the powder note is much tamer. I then get the white florals and vanilla and I really enjoy it. It blends extremely well and is on the gourmand side rather than floral - which I won't complain about, I love gourmands! However, I wanted to throw that out there for those that aren't fans. Overall this is a clean white, fluffy, floral (not indolic), vanilla. I love to wear it casually straight out of the shower but I look forward to wearing this with pretty outfits in the spring.

The name of this is misleading, I get no gardenia , it should be called 'powder'. The first few minutes this is a powder bomb of epic proportions! Give it a while and the powder starts to mellow and then the vanilla gets to be the co-leader, it gets smoother and sweeter.There are some flowers , not gardenia to me, just non descript white flowers, dancing very quietly in the background , adding some interest in the main 2 notes. It's feminine, different, long lasting and heavy on sillage, but disregard if being hit by powder is not your thing!

Just bought my first two samples from TK perfume House - Jasmine of Athens and this , Gardenia. Firstly , my impression of both is that they are very unique, I haven’t smelt a perfume like either before . They are very well made , their composition speaks quality especially for the price . Being a white floral lover , I thought I would venture out of my taste zone and try the scents that had vanilla as the base notes . This started out as gardenia and wow this is heavy on my skin with the opening powdery notes mixed in . Then , the gardenia left and all I got was creamy vanilla . A very sweet, gourmand fragrance . I feel this is a youthful , modern scent but the name is misleading as I don’t get much gardenia . I’m not into smelling like sweets so it’s a no from me but on the positive side , silage and longevity are enormous . Also , I usually hate powdery scents as it borderlines on being grandmaish but I didn’t get that with this fragrance . It was so well blended that I just got creaminess . Still a pretty scent if that’s your fragrance choice .

It is a pleasant floral, unfortunately there is not the gardenia you are expecting here.

Sweet Talc powder! Really beautiful 🫶🏾

This has a weird mustiness when first sprayed that I have a hard time dealing with. Eventually, after about an hour, it goes away, and it becomes a light powder vanilla with an unrecognizable floral. I know that no real gardenia is used in perfume, and that other florals are used to approximate that note, but this doesn't even have anything like that in this scent. I am not smelling the jasmine here either. It just smells like a sweet vanilla powder scent on me and that is it. I've since given it to the goodwill.

Gardenia by Theo Parfums is the epitome of romance and elegance! This opens with a beautiful cloud of powder that slowly mellows to a sweet vanilla and lush gardenia blend with a tincy bit of tartness from the jasmine. This is not at all what I expected from this perfume, but I must say I am pleasantly surprised because this is my favorite out of the two that I own. This is perfect for those days when you want to smell delicate and feminine – so gorgeous!

This is a beautiful modern powdery floral fragrance! I love powdery fragrances, and I haven't smelled another one like this. It is unique! It is airy, floral, and feminine, and doesn't have a vintage feel to it at all. If you love jasmine and gardenia, and are looking for a powder-bomb, this is it! Unfortunately, my skin chemistry seems to need a heavier, warmer, more resinous base, so it didn't work as well on me as I had hoped.

Total disappointment. There is a very faint scent of Gardenia at the far end of the olfaction mix in this fragrance with a bit of laundry detergent...It's like a blend of some flowers and soap. No gardenia as a first note-at all. 5 out of 10

If you're looking for a powderbomb, this is it!

I was really intrigued by this fragrance so finally I ordered it from Greece, the first testing i am not sure i like, too sweet and nothing stands out to me, oh well, i gotta learn to stop my blind buy obsession and just stick to the traditional way of testing/buying

Gardenia is truly a powder bomb! Smells like a bucket of baby powder with the slightest floral hint. Very romantic and pretty if you are into that, but I prefer more edible/gourmandish scents. Will be passing this on.

I like this but hate it at the same time very powdery but on my skin the powderiness becomes almost spicey? Idk strange. Very powdery warms Spiced vanilla floral. Not the gardenia your expecting
