I Am Beautiful

I've just got this beauty in a wonderful, generous swap and I'm so puzzled why this excellent fragrance does not have any reviews yet. It's a honor to be the first, however, I'm not trained enough to write a proper review this fragrance deserves. To start with, I didn't know that patchouli can be done as beautifully and with as much taste as in this fragrance. It is predominants fro mthe very first moment with a red berry juicyness without being too girly or too mainstream or, I will say it, too reminiscent to LVEB (which is a beautiful fragrance, btw, and it's a pity that the cheap dupes made it too mainstream and bacause of these cheap and often untasteful dupes many people hate the original, too). Amber is sweet, warm, and I smell something that is not mentioned among the notes, that has a slightly vanillic, like a subtle vanilla biscuit scent. In the middle and the base the rose is present in its full bloom without the slightest dusty, vintage feel to it. As it dries down, powdery and lipsticky notes come up to make the fragrance even more beautiful. This fragrance is close to a modern, absolutely natural smelling chypre aspiring to become a classic and absolutely loyal to it's name: I feel very beautiful while I'm wearing it now. Edit: I was sure this fragrance reminded me on something and now I know: it remonds me on MIss Dior Le Parfum. While MDLP opens with a citrusy tp note here we have the slightly tart, realistoc cranberries and MIss Dior has more vanilla warmth in the base but they have very similar vibes with the strong patchouli and dewy roses, the modern chypre quality with the elegant and soft powderiness are also feature sthey share. I am beautiful is not a dupe by any means but if you enjoy Miss Dior Le Parfum I think you would love this fragrance, too.

This one opens with a tart, juicy cranberry that feels fresh and bright. After a while, I get more red fruits mixed with warm amber, making it sweeter and a little warmer. The rose is definitely there too, and I think it works really well with the fruit. It gives the fragrance a more floral feel without taking over. I also like the patchouli here. I can smell it in the background, but the fruit is still the main focus. The sillage is just right for me. It's noticeable without being too much. Overall, this is a fruity, slightly tart fragrance with rose, warm amber and a touch of patchouli. I really enjoy it.

I find this a fascinating fragrance! If I had to describe it I would say it smells like Thanksgiving! In the US we have a turkey usually with a rosemary and sage rub, cranberry sauce, creamy gravy and so on! This, with the patchouli and cranberry reminds me so much of that! It would be great in the fall! It’s completely unique and it’s one of those fragrances that I feel is an acquired taste. I won't wear it a lot, but when I do, I’ll feel like a cozy autumn potpourri! I don’t know why, but it takes my brain to Stowe,VT during late fall! I feel like all the adorable shops kind of smell like this and have an overall earthy, cozy with a sprinkle of bougie old money feel! I find it beautiful but I also feel I’d grow tired of it. I’ll save it for a few cozy fall nights in New England and it’ll be perfect!

A big and primarily fruity perfume. I get rich, juicy, sweet, deep red berries on a sweeter amber base, patchouli is not loud. I think it smells slightly tart as well as tropical somehow, and it doesn't come across tacky despite it's fruitiness. It wafts beautifully in the air, sillage is quite big. I don't think it smells like a body spray, it smells more luxurious. It's more a popular style than 'niche' style. Indeed it can be compared to Miss Dior Le Parfum, which is not as fruity and a lot more ambery. At 45 dollars / 50 ml I think this is good value, the price / quality ratio are good here if sweet & fruity are your style.

A very nice and bold from Kalotinis. Just 2 words. If you like perfumes like Pleasures EL you need this. V

Reminds me of something from the 2000s, but not in a bad way/does not smell too dated. It is sweet and bit green at the same time. Somewhat more floral, but I also get the berry part, it is not very prominent or realistic. I would say even though it is not what ai expected, I get the notes in some way. Wears lovely outdoors, with some breeze. Only that I find that this perfume is not 'me'. The fact that it is not truly a berry scent and the reminiscence to something from 20 yrars ago (is it smell or is it the feeling?) must be the reason...

This smells like a sweet cranberry candy. Or any other red berry candy. Very long-lasting and linear. TK's scents have always been linear to me and that's neither good nor bad and it can be both good and bad, depending on one's expectation; it just is what it is. (Non-linear scents give me two experiences while these give me one.) Reminds me Leonard Leonard. I generally wish it was somewhat more interesting but who likes sweet gourmand-type scents, this is one. I don't find it synthetic (as a negative property) as some others do.

I liked this for the first few minutes but it soon became painfully obvious how artificial these "berries" smell... strongly reminds me of lip or body products with a mixed berry scent profile. So far I've tested 8 fragrances from this house and I Am Beautiful was in the lowest category overall. (My 2 loves are Coffee Addict and Jasmine of Athens, other than that I had 3 I liked and 3 that were quite meh.)

Roses and syrupy sweet cranberry juice. Not for me

I got this as a sample with my order ..I liked the smell on a blotter paper...but on my skin i don't I like it. It's very fruity, and not a nice kind of fruity. I can only feel generic fruit notes ..no amber and no roses. For now, I'm not a fan ..but the sample is pretty generous so I'll keep using for the next 2-3 days and see if I change my mind about it

When this fragrance opened on my skin, I really thought this was promising. The cranberry initially smelt lovely supported by the rose and patchouli. But as it dried down, the cranberry started to become overwhelmingly synthetic smelling, and the rose and patchouli started to smell dirty. The lasting power is excellent, but sadly it was a scrubber for me.

Synthetic fruity cranberry with some patchouli and florals It is sickening me as it is way too sweet and synthetic Reminiscent of cheap hair products

As other said before me: promising on paper, scrubber on skin. Screechy, unpleasant, synthetic.
