Sweet and woody patchouli and vanilla scent. The name is misleading because to me the florals are more of a supporting roll and the patchouli is the star. The fruit notes are more like dried fruits to me. Rasins, dried figs and dates combined. Great cozy fall/ winter scent and not a bad price point. Firmly unisex

American nose here. I purchased directly from the website. DHL was fast to deliver straight from the website. When you make the purchase from the website, fast delivery, as far as communication or response to emails, if you're American? You'll get ignored. I do not agree with a reviewer below that this scent smells like Ylang 49 by Byredo. That's a linear scent without a dusty accord which oddly smells like bananas in a good way. I don't do swaps or buy decants because I never know the authenticity of sellers, I find sellers themselves don't know they're buying fakes. I'd like to see people who leave reviews say where they purchase their perfumes because I see far too many people buying fakes leaving inaccurate reviews. I'm hunting for perfume houses with photo realistic scents. One of my favorites if Fragronard. I own MOST of their scents EDP + EDT. From this house, I ordered a sample pack with a few full size bottles. Weather plays a huge role in scents, I live in Florida which is tropical humid heat. I'm a fan of gourmands. It's difficult to find a gourmand which works for a humid summer. This DOES. Application : Clean skin, unscented vani cream, bag balm w/ lanolin, waited 20 minutes to apply so I could smell the scent without any other scents interfering with the experience. You can use Cera Ve. Sprayed behind neck, inner elbows, chest, behind knee caps, ankles. Upon the initial blast, it smelled like a prominent duty potpourri accord. I had the same experience with Theodoros Kalotinis's Alluring Fig. (I ended up like Alluring Fig) once that horrible dusty accord faded around 2 hour mark. I sprayed 2 sprays without rubbing in the inner elbow/ cubital fossa to generate enough heat in my air conditioned room so the aroma developed with my body heat. As it dries down, the earthy patchouli subtly supports the fruit notes. It's not a dirty synthetic patchouli, but clean and earthy. The 'exotic fruit' notes in this scent reminds me of rehydrated dried fruits & I suspect that's why that dusty note is in this + alluring fig. The nectar from the floral notes mixed with the vanilla heightens the scent as it warms to the body's skin, Lily & Lily of the valley are some of my favorite notes. Mon Lys & Lucky from Christian Dior. Absolute love. To my nose, lily and lily of the valley are subtly supporting the vanilla & fruit notes. You won't truly get whiffs of lily of the valley until it becomes a skin scent. 90 minute mark. What I find interesting in the vanilla used in this scent, any American familiar with bath and body works Vanilla Bean Noel, will understand the vanilla used in this scent is a more sophisticated photo realistic version of that. So for those who like to layer, that would be a great lotion to layer with. I love the vanilla bean accord. This could be why some rate this as a winter friendly scent. *Americans tend to be over sprayers compared to Europeans. I dislike smelling like every one else, and respect this house's risqué bold approach to what I can only describe as a horrendous initial dusty accord, but confident enough in the ingredients to give an experienced niche lover time to permit the fragrance to develop to truly appreciate the craft. I personally wouldn't want anyone to smell this scent on me until I've been wearing it for an hour at least. I'm not picking up a shampoo vibe, but in the USA, most shampoos are synthetic, I'm not picking up overly chemical vibes from this fragrance to say it's 'shampoo'. Longevity wise, for spring weather, one can spray more, for summer spray less, move around if there's a wind, you'll give off a pleasant vanilla, sweet, scent from the nectar of the lily notes & fruits. Top notes combined typically 50%, Middle notes combined 30% of a frag, Bottom notes 20%, I would purchase this scent in a full bottle due to it's uniqueness and that lovely 'true' vanilla bean scent which is summer friendly. Fruity Vanilla Bean dancing with fruits. I find this scent inoffensive, didn't make me sneeze, great for brunch. If the company ever responded to me with a coupon, I would definitely purchase a full bottle of this and a few others. On my skin 12 hours. While I love Fragonard's Mon Lys as a straight Lily Of the Valley scent for those looking for solo scents, this is more elevated with better longevity. Around the 90 minute mark, the scent profile stays the same. Sadly, This is an under rated house. I look forward to trying other scents. *I prefer my scents to LEAN feminine, while this does? I find it's unisex friendly.

I recently won this perfume here on Fragrantica. A big thank you to the brand owner and perfumer Theodoros Kalotinis for his generousity! :) Lily is a warm, rich and sensual fragrance. It opens with a quite heavy patchouli note, but it is not sharp or overly dirty in any way. It's a very smooth and pleasantly earthy patchouli, and it is paired with a rich sweetness from tropical fruits. It almost has a vibe of damp jungle filled with tropical fruit trees. But not quite. The sweetness is too thick, almost like a fruit syrup smell, and it keeps the scent from smelling too much like photorealistic nature. The sensual, slightly soapy - but soapy in a very soft way - lily slowly appears and gives the fragrance a very appealing and attractive vibe. It smells elegant and passionate at the same time. The fruits are lingering, but still feels a lot softer after a while. That pleasant earthiness from patchouli is also lingering, but it keeps getting smoother as well, and it feels creamy in a way when the soft, shy vanilla kicks in. A lovey pair, patchouli and vanilla. Especially in this composition. This is not a fragrance that develops in crazy directions. It pretty much smells the same from you spray it on until it's gone. There are just some soft nuances that change and makes the scent grow rounder and, yes, softer on the skin. The soapyness from the lilies are not like a bar of soap by the way. It's more in the direction of shampoo or hair conditioner. And not in a bad way. The scent actually smells very much like an expensive, all natural and organic hair product. It has that same rich, creamy feeling that a deep conditioning hair masque has. So it's a perfume you might wear if you don't want to smell like you've doused yourself in perfume. It smells more like you've just showered and washed yor hair with quality products that smells really awesome. I've been drawn to this a lot since I got it. It's a very pleasant perfume, and at the same time it feels really sensual and attractive. For an all natural perfume this lasts a long time on the skin. I get about 8-10 hours out of this. Sillage is really strong to begin with but slowly dries down to a medium. A quality fragrance for sure. :)

Lily by Theo Parfums is the little bottle of Greek perfume I had been longing for because they perfectly combined two of my favorite things - lily flowers and Greece! This opens as a very spicy patchouli that is almost deceiving until the dry down when you smell the most divine crystal white lilies peeking through with just a hint of vanilla underneath. If you have ever smelled Le Labo’s Ylang 49 (which smells nothing like ylang-ylang by the way) then I would say that Lily by Theo Parfums smells very similar to it, but so much BETTER – because it does not have the fecal note like Ylang 49 does. To me this Lily is bold and sexy, I would definitely rock this with my little black dress on a night out!

This smells like fig newtons. Doesn’t smell remotely close to lillies like the title would suggest, but this is an interesting fragrance and I still kind of like it.
