Received this as a holiday gift and instantly fell in love. It is entirely unique - a flormand that whispers, leaves a delicate but very noticeable scent trail, and much like actual lokum, is gently sweet, floral and powdery. My maternal great grandfather was a confectioner with a shop in San Francisco and made lokum, pastila, zefir and, of course, paskha for Easter, among other traditional Russian sweets and occasionally some chocolate treats. Anyhow, the lokum was always dusted with icing sugar, which is like powdered sugar without the corn starch. It has a very particular texture on the tongue and somehow, I’m assuming with the iris, it is brilliantly translated here. That is one of the key things that makes this fragrance stand far apart from similar DNA’s. That note is incredibly long lasting and lasted 16+ hours on my skin and has stayed in clothes until washing. Let’s talk about rose water. I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned expecting a strong rose note. Rose water, at least in cooking, isn’t a strong note. Rose petals are steeped in simmering water until they lose their color. It is the most gentle expression of rose, never jammy or sharp. It is the suggestion of rose, not distilled or concreted or absolute. If you’ve only experienced rose water in cosmetics, go pick up a bottle from a well stocked liquor store or Middle Eastern or Eastern European grocery store. It’s usually available under $10. While you’re there, pick up some orange flower water, too and experience the most delicate expression of these floral notes. That rose water note is very present here and it’s divine. The tuberose and frangipani are the most dominant florals here, with frangipani taking the first position. These florals separate this fragrance substantially from the orange blossom/neroli marshmallow scents that preceded it, and in a meaningful way. This perfume is every bit as romantic as the story behind it, and lingers just as long. Here’s what this doesn’t smell like (and I own these, and have worn them many times): Oriana, which is heavy and much sweeter, strongly citrusy and doesn’t have the same persistence; Bianco Latte, which is caramel and has zero florals, linear and loud. I’m so confused why it’s being compared to either of these unless the people comparing them haven’t actually worn it. Hot take - this fragrance, if a comparison must be made, is more a combination of Blanche Bete (for the milky tuberose) and La Tosca (for the delicate watery rose) than anything else in the Reminds Me Of section. All that being said, this is utterly beautiful, delicate but long lasting, romantic, feminine and the same glowing pale pink as the delicacy it is named for. It speaks in a whisper just loud enough to hear and what it says is, “love me, as I love you.”

Dear Yusrayacoubi, according to your review you are just hater.. the fragrance doesn’t cost 115 but 110, which is normal price for exclusive creations he made for other stores (do your homework) and also this is nothing like his other Eau de Parfum creations, I have most of them and this is much much more complex and honestly longer lasting that Love don’t be shy. Buy a bottle, test it and then review on your own experience, cause with this type of comments it’s just an empty hateful speech or jealousy..

This is a dream! It’s soft and fluffy and I feel so sexy wearing it. Honestly for me it’s a bit like if Bianco Latte and Love don’t be shy would have a baby but there is something that make it still different and original. On clothes it lasts for days. So proud to have it here in Paphos! Love the fact it’s not linear and in my POV this is very different style than the rest of Kalotinis creations. Much more complex and bold. My new signature scent def!

This scent hugs you like a soft cocoon of a sweet cloud.. comforting, yet sensual at the same time. Notes are blended very nicely. The sweetness of vanilla and marshmallow balanced with white flowers and added lactonic touch. Not overly sweet, not too milky. Very complex. Great option for layering with other fragrances, depending on which note you’d like to highlight and amplify. (also, the best souvenir from Cyprus for all the perfume lovers!)

This perfume is soooo good! Yes it does remind me of LDBS by Kilian, but it’s lighter, more airy and fluffly. It’s not as deep and strong as LDBS but I actually prefer this one. Absolutely love the mix of orange blossom and rose water as a North African girlie! Reminds me of our desserts 😍 longevity is not impressive, 3h after spraying it’s a skin scent.

I was so excited to hear about this perfume, the inspiration, the love story, the quote "Some loves fade. Theirs became perfume." And I'm so happy I have it my collection. It represents the concept perfectly, it's sweet, it's intriguing, it's unique to me and it fits me so nicely. This is the perfume I want to wear on my birthday, it's that special.

This arrived today and holy shit if this isn't instantly one of my favourites. It's very sweet and very floral. It reminds me of a creamier kilian ldbs (which I liked but it was way too cloying). This one is a lot more manageable, less sweet and has more florals without being as screechy. Do not sleep on her.

Anyone in the U.S. wanting to part with their bottle, or perhaps a decant? Shoot me a message on here, I check up on Fragrantica often. This sounds freaking amazing, idk how I somehow missed this as a release.

I have owned and tested more dupes than original fragrances .I can see how people are comparing this to certain OGs because it is reminiscent of Reyna (Oriana dupe) and Eclaire ( Bianco Latte dupe) to me but with a nod to Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. It almost reminds me of the milky Salep drink from Turkey, it is certainly pretty lactonic. It isn't a rose flavoured loukoumi which is what I had envisaged, more like mastic or nutty and for that reason I definitely wouldn't compare it to Noble Blush. Yeah, it's definitely like a baby of the first two fragrances I mentioned but nicer, just not what I was really expecting. It does seem to have good longevity, the latter end being very vanillic/caramel fudge. I also wouldn't say this is a Summer scent, it is a little more cozy. A Cypriot Autumn, wearing monochrome cream, sipping warm milky Salep on a sunny cafe terrace springs to my mind. Delicious but maybe redundant if you own any of the scents I mentioned. If I decide to repurchase a BL type fragrance in future I would go for this one. Mood : stylish gourmand, coffee date

I blind bought this and had it shipped from Perfumora Store to the US. I can't believe it's another Bianco Latte dupe or inspiration or whatever. It smells exactly the same. Milky caramel and musk. Total disappointment because I don't like Bianco Latte.

I emailed the store, Perfumora, carrying this exclusively about whether I could buy it (I live in Scandinavia) somehow and got an answer saying that they will start shipping to the EU in a while. This one feels much more milky and smooth caramelly from the dulce de leche in the dry down, instead of the slightly more sharp caramel in Love. But it is just as sweet on my skin, just less sticky compared to love don't be shy. The flowers are generally also more smooth in this one and not in your face even though my skin usually amplifies them over gourmand notes.. Also, LoukouME lacks the coriander and bergamot opening of Kilian's 'Love' that I sometimes have a problem with and smells more like a powdery marshmallow from the get go. No obvious rosyness or prominent Lokhoum for me but it is in the background. Don't get a prominent cotton candy, but I assume it is what gives this scent this airyness, which I love. To compare, Oriana is more sharp citrus and has a fruity sweetness which is more subdued than LoukouME. If you love 'Love'. (Haha, bad pun intended!) you will most likely love this one! 🥰🙌😁

The orange blossom and neroli is not as sharp, no musky civet undertone that can smell weird some days. This one also feels much more milky and smooth caramelly from the dulce de leche and milk in the dry down. Love has a slightly more sharp caramel too. But it is just as sweet as Love is on my skin, just less sticky compared to love don't be shy. The flowers are generally also more smooth in this one and not in your face even though my skin usually amplifies them over gourmand notes.. God know how long in my perfume addict journey I’ve been waiting for a gourmand lactonic scent until finally few enlightened perfumers started making them😀 for me still the most perfect cold almond & white chocolate milk scent is Hot Sand by Librery but Loukoumé has also very fluffy sweet milky note that is just so hot! Yes, beginning can be very similar to LDBS but Loukoumé is less screechy, less intense, more fluffy milky marshmallow which rather creates a small sweet milk cloud around you, remaining a skin scent, not shouting loud like LDBS or Oriana. Longevity is really 2-3 hrs (but I find also other TK perfumes to last only few hours) but somehow it does not bother me as I got compliment in a very intimate moment that I have nice perfume and I smell sexy 😈 so yes, it’s sexy (very) but just in the right moment. There’s no need to suffocate the whole room just with you (and orange blossom sweet marshmallows) - rather keep it for yourself and one special person.

Wow, just Wow! So I am lucky enough to live in Cyprus, in Paphos, where this amazing little boutique is based, and also I am born and raised cypriot, where this perfume is inspired by. At first, it really resembles love don’t be shy by kilian. After a while, the milk note becomes more prominent, and it really reminds me of another traditional desert of Cyprus that’s called mahalepi. The scent instantly transports me to summers in Cyprus, that delicate, chilled dessert made simply with water, cornstarch, and rose or blossom water. Silky, jelly-like, and bathed in that sweet, floral syrup... It smells like home, like cool breezes and warm memories in a bowl. If you are ever in Paphos, its worth visiting the boutique. They did a great job with this one!

It smells like LDBS. This is NOT Bianco Latte dna. And it's NOT Rose Jam, Roses Vanille, Noble Blush or KEIKO MECHERI Loukhoum's either. It is very reminiscent of LDBS and all of the others that smell like that one (Oriana, Sintra and their dupes etc). So while it is pretty - I was hoping for a rose floral-gourmand. The rose doesn't show because the neroli & orange blossom shine through. Worth trying if you love LDBS dna and want to try something else similar but not exactly. This isn't as cloying as I find LDBS to be because the drydown let's up on the top notes some and let's the mid & base take over more. Still not like Bianco Latte at all.

This looks like a “pretty” fragrance. I’d love to try it. We just came back from Italy, I would’ve loved to have had this as my signature on the trip, that way I could always smell it and relive an awesome Mediterranean getaway. 115€ for a 50 ml trying to dupe Kilian don’t be shy is a joke. All the other Theodoros K. Perfumes are 50€ Max. You can get a refill of the actual Kilian perfume for 165€ and at least you’re paying for niche, with niche longevity.

Finally just ordered this after the article on the main page alerted me to US shipping. I think I have all his collabs now and I’m really excited for this one.

I have spent many summer months in Cyprus and if the narrative on this frag delivers; then this is a must try for me.
