Pear Gelato

This is amazing! I was very intrigued and excited about this new release but at the same time I was afraid because this is a risky kind of scent, as in the past I was rather disappointed with other pear scent. Also, description made me wonder if it would smell like that synthetic pear flavoured carbonated soft drink, which I was never a fan of. Or perhaps some artificially scented pear flavoured ice cream, not of the highest quality. But what I've got with this Pear Gelato defied all my fears and completely blew me away. It is such a beautiful, delicious, incredible mastefuly crafted scent! Yes, I get that clear pear taste/flavor and it stays through the wear. It is not entirely like an actual plain fruit, but rather like a flavour in a candy or desert, but not artificial or too strong or too fresh - this is not a sorbet. Instead, this is a very creamy, perfectly laconic ice-cream. Like that delicious spoonful of ice-cream that is on the pint of melting, so creamy, laatonic, sweet and delicious. It is sweet, but I think still fully wearable on a warmer day. The pear is not sickly sweet. It is not a beast, no monstrous sillage but does last and gives a lot of comfort. Love it! Any gourmand lover should be intrigued! Update: just came back to say that this is the best ice cream scent ever, smells just like delicious ice cream melting in summer sun, yummy!! And it does perform amazing in summer heat, it outlasts some way more expensive perfumes. Love it so much 🥰

If you are Dutch like me, you will know the taste of a "perenijsje": a very popular pear flavored popsicle that almost everyone will have in their freezer in the summertime. They are refreshing, fruity and sweet. This fragrance smells like someone put a melted perenijsje in a bottle, added some milk and vanilla, then crushed a waffle cone and added a sprinkle of that too. It's a photorealistic sweetened pear icecream. It's in a nice glass cup though, and the waffle is added as a garnish that scoop some icecream with and eat first, because that note disappears while the milky vanilla pear is what lingers. It really smells like food, not like perfume. It's yummy, although I'm not sure if I would wear it, but that's personal taste. The realistic fruit gets a little too sickly sweet for me, but I'm going to try layering with the decant that I have.This is definitely a very beautiful and special fragrance, that radiates at a modest arms length and last for a good couple of hours.

I love TK fragrances and pear is one of my favorite scents, but I really hesitated with this one. Some reviewers says, that it would be a bright, childish pear, with poor performance... ... still, I decided to blindly trust the brand, some experienced Tube-nose, and, oh Boys, How happy, that I did! The pear really shines in this fragrance! The scent doesn't lose the pear, even when the wonderful cream waffle becomes more and more prominent, making the scent very deep and rich. Even so deep, that for a nanosecond, I imagined find oud there. But no, there is nothing woody about the scent, the note of the pastry is only as dense. Amazing. I don't have a problem with performance either. For me, the scent dries into a shallow, but nice, deep skinscent, that lasts with me for a really commendable 4-5 hours. So delicious.

The freezer frost sweeps in immediately on spritz—sharp, crystalline, and blindingly pear. It’s the essence of frozen air, of glistening ice shards tumbling over each other, carrying the soul of the most pear-y pear ever. Not warm not juicy, but cold in the best way possible, like sweet pear ice dissolving on your tongue, the bright sweetness of sugar sorbet swirling like a snowstorm. The projection is immense too: visualise a frozen landscape where every breath echoes with pear, pear, pear. Jaw droppingly realistic, jaw droppingly magnetic. May be hard to wear on the daily, but hey—pure pear essence can do no wrong in my eyes.

on my skin it has a burst of pear when you first spray, then it smells sweet and lactonic, with an airy freshness and aquatic feel. It is light, not dense or cloying. My sample lasted me at least about 4 hours yesterday. Trying it again today as I am tempted to get a full bottle, it is quite affordable for a niche fragrance. Would recommend it! I would have blind bought this if I didn't read the comments below which made me feel uncertain as so many mixed reviews! I don't think it is sickly sweet at all, very well blended and well done. Great for this time of year - autumn/winter. edit. yes adding this to my to buy list!

Pear Gelato by Theodoros Kalotinis opens with a crisp, fruity burst of pear that’s both fresh and enchanting. The fragrance isn’t overly sweet or heavy like some gourmands; instead, it has a delicate, soft dry down with hints of creamy vanilla mixed with pear. It’s light and airy, bringing to mind fragrances like Tease Crème Cloud or Ariana Grande’s Cloud, but with its own unique twist. If you’re into fruity scents that aren’t too literal or overwhelming, this one’s a lovely choice.

Oh my goodness!!!! i love this scent so much. i’m so obsessed, i literally can’t stop smelling my wrist!! this perfume opens with a very sweet pear and waffle cone. it’s very waffle cone heavy to me but the pear balances it out. it then turns into a creamy milky sweet pear icecream. the notes are spot on, it’s literally smells just like icecream. as it dries down i get that creamy milky vanilla and pear ice cream with waffle cone! it doesn’t last the longest, i would say it lasts 5 hours on me and then turns into a skin scent. if you love gourmands please give this one a try, i think you’ll like it!

oh this smells so edible i'm in love. the pear note is giving everything i could have ever imagined! it's this beautiful, perfectly ripe, juicy, freshly picked pear. this is a genuine pear scent to me, and you can really get slight hints of the waffle cone note! it's really fresh & juicy when you first spray it but it has this GORGEOUS dry down. the pear note dries and turns into a more sweet milky/creamy scent after a while, but you don't lose the realistic pear smell. so light, airy, and delectable! perfect for summer<3 theodoros kalotinis always makes the most mouth watering gourmands honestly.

This is so interesting on my skin — and I love it. I’m already a fan of pear as a note, and this feels like a clean gourmand — if that’s even a thing. I gravitate towards clean scents, and I can see myself wearing this year-round. The opening, right when it hits my skin: warm, creamy banana pudding. It’s rich and mouthwatering at first. But then it shifts beautifully into this clean, sweet, warm, soapy pear. It reminds me a lot of JHAS Pear Inc., but this one is sweeter and a little cozier.

it does smell like pear ice cream but the pear doesn’t overstay its welcome and all you’re left with is the vanilla waffle cone (heavy on the waffle cone) in the drydown. this shines in moderately warm weather but you can get away with wearing it on cooler days too. i got the acetone smell when i first sprayed it, but it went away after a week or so.

It’s wonderful. More waffle cone up top pear comes through shortly thereafter. It’s gourmand but not overly so. I’m not sure how it will feel in the heat of summer but for spring and early summer it perfect. I got two other of the four releases on the strength of this and so far Cherry Powder is special too. I’ll grab Crème Brûlée for fall.

Its PURELY gourmand it gets to the point. There is some type of light nuttiness in this perfume. It smells a lot like a buttery/fried batter that cooled down like someone left it out a while, and then someone poured melted WARM pear ice cream on top. It smells good, but I realized it does smell like those jankee candles :/.

There’s a really cooling element to this perfume that fascinates me. I sprayed it in Athens on my skin and it lasted at least three hours. It was a hot day and the fragrance worked so well in the heat. I’m wondering how this icy sweet element is achieved. Either way - this perfume is excellent. I’m quite obsessed with it.

The pear in this reminds me of a shampoo I once had but I can't figure out exactly which one, maybe redken all soft? Because of that association for me it smells like walking into an ice cream shop with freshly washed hair and I LOVE it! EDIT: the shampoo was the function of beauty pear scent! definitely not all soft

So yummy! It has a sweet, buttery, creamy base, but it blends so beautifully with fresh, juicy pear. It smells like almost like a baked good, and it’s so well-balanced with the pear. Warm, sugary, and delicious. Not sickly sweet either, and I don’t find it to be synthetic. I love to see affordable niche brands!

a sugary, juicy vanilla opening that dries down much cozier and warmer. the waffle cone becomes much more apparent and i love it sooo much, it almost gives animal crackers. it’s not too cloying - i feel like it’s the perfect freshness as the pear peeks through. and that price?? definitely buying a full bottle

I'm in love <3 <3 Smells initially like pear drops with a hint of custard and then dries down to a sweet but not too cloying vanilla. My only downside is I find it doesn't last very long on my skin and doesn't project much (but I could be going anosmic). If you like pear and sweet perfumes you need this!!!

First minutes after spraying get the wafflecone (bf said I smelled eatable and like something baked), after that the pear takes the centre, at first the pear is a bit fresh, but it dries down more sweet and milky/creamy. When my mom smelled it in the air she said it smells like summer. Love it.

Mediterranean vacation in a bottle. When I blind buy a fragrance, it's almost never how I imagined it. But this is exactly on point and all the notes are so realistic, from the pear to the vanilla to the waffle cone. This will be perfect for summer. Now I need to try Lemon tart aswell.

I love love this, smells like a Swedish ice Cream with the pear flavor nomnom, u can smell the waffle cone too, very delicious. The only negative about it is that It only last like 2 hours on my skin. Otherwise the smell is a true pear gourmand scent.

Gorgeous pear scent, lovely to swear during spring/summer. More than pear gelato, it reminds me of the drumstick sweets I used to have as a kid. It’s juicy sweet, but not overly sweet. Delightful and a need for the gourmand lovers!

I have never smelled something like this before for sure, so it surprised me. To me it smells almost buttery, like a pastry instead of a waffle cone. Wouldn’t wear it on its own personally, but it’s an interesting perfume!

Crazy projection first 30 mins, then fades away with a strong pear smell combined with a warm waffle cone, gourmand, sweet, delicious, a unique fragrance that s worth it s money (50e), icy smell also.

everyone says hilde solani is the queen of gourmands but theodoros does it so much better. absolutely delcious, mouthwatering, lactonic and fruity. another perfect gourmand for the spring and summer!

Wow, an intense but wonderful scent

Category: Sweet, fruity, gourmand, musky Notes: Upon spraying, you’re immediately hit with a photorealistic waffle cone and pear-flavored ice cream. With time, that pear does develop a slightly shampooey undertone that to me doesn’t make this a full-on gourmand, but we’re like 99.99% there, at least at first. As this develops, the waffle cone also quiets while the pear becomes stronger and juicier. The scent is very, very sweet from the get-go, bordering on sickly, so I guess that sugar note is also very much present. Within 2-3 hours, this reaches what I’d describe as a musky pear scent, very clean, slightly fruity, and a more tolerable sweetness compared to the first few hours. If the opening is a decadent cream-based pear ice cream, the full dry down is an icy and refreshing pear popsicle. Vibe: Beach day. Vacation in Italy. Tivoli. Balloon animals. Cotton candy. Ice cream cone. Ice cream truck. Hot pavement. Sunny spring day. Pastel colors. Frilly skirts. Sandals. Popsicles. Victoria’s Secret. Bikini. Sheer kaftan. Fountains. Iced tea. Sillage: 4/10. I’d say this has quite a moderate projection. With just one spray to the wrist, it’s not really filling up the space around me, but it certainly wafts over as I move my arms. Had I sprayed myself a little more heavily, I do believe this would have a medium to strong sillage. That said, projection does diminish greatly after 2-ish hours. Longevity: 4/10. In terms of longevity, this leaves much to be desired. It lasted me approximately 4-5 hours before moving past skin scent status into undetectable territory. Not terrible for the price point, but poor performance compared to other Theodoros Kalotinis fragrances I’ve tried. Wear: As this is bright and uplifting, it’s strictly daytime wear for me. I could see this working all year round, and while the pear ice cream vibe certainly evokes associations of summer, I fear that the lactonic creaminess alongside that biscuity cone note could feel very heavy on a hot day. I would say this is quite unisex, but the sweetness of it for me leaves a slightly feminine-leaning impression. If you’re a man fond of sweet gourmands, though, I wouldn’t let my saying that dissuade you from at least sampling this. Overall rating: 6.5/10. I really didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. It is sweet, fruity, and creamy, and evokes nostalgic feelings of youth and childhood for me. Specifically, eating ice cream in the hot summer sun while on vacation with my family. The scent is simple and quite linear, but it works really well and delivers exactly what it promises - a pear gelato fragrance. It starts out as a wonderful, sweet semi-gourmand and moves into a fruity, generic musk that is pleasant, although admittedly a bit bland. This is the first of all of the Theodoros Kalotinis fragrances I’ve sampled that I could genuinely envision myself wearing. While none of the fragrances have been terrible, they have all been such realistic gourmands that I haven’t been able to view them as genuine perfumes. While this also veers dangerously close to photorealistic, crazy sweet, and more body spray than a refined perfume, it somehow speaks to me nonetheless. It is sweet and cozy in a similar manner to Bianco Latte, but bright and uplifting enough to work during spring and summer. I could totally see myself reaching for this if I wanted to project a more cutesy vibe. Even though that rarely happens, similarly to my urge to wear Bianco Latte, I think it’s nice enough to warrant having it in my collection for that once in a blue moon moment when the mood strikes. Who would wear it?: Anna Faris as Shelley Darlingson in The House Bunny (2008).

First of all, it is very buttery and oily. Fortunately, the top note does not last long and the buttery note fades away after 5 minute and the waffle-like note comes to mind later and then the pear-like note gradually begins. In fact, I can describe the olfactory pyramid of this perfume like this: Top note: buttery and oily Middle note: waffle and biscuit-like Base note: pear The top note of the perfume is unfortunately not well done at all and for the average consumer who buys perfumes in most cases based on the feeling they get from the top note of the perfume; it is considered a complete negative point. The top note of this perfume is exactly like another perfume from this brand, Creme Brûlée, and I wonder why they have worked so harsh on the top note of these perfumes, which is very important in selling, in these two perfumes. But if we ignore that initial note; in my opinion, it is a lovely gourmand perfume. اولش که بسیار کره مانند و چربه. خوشبختانه تاپ نتش خیلی طول نمیکشه و اون نت کره ای کم میشه و نت وافل مانند یا بیسکوییت مانند به مشام میاد و بعد هم کم کم نت گلابی مانند شروع میشه در واقع میتونم هرم بویایی این عطر رو اینچنین بیان کنم تاپ نت: کره ای و چرب نت میانی: وافل و بیسکوییتی مانند نت پایانی: گلابی تاپ نت عطر متاسفانه اصلا خوب کار نشده و برای مصرف کننده ی عادی که عطر رو در اکثر موارد با حسی که از تاپ نت عطر داره، میخره کاملا امتیاز منفی محسوب میشه تاپ نت این عطر دقیقا شبیه به عطر دیگه ای از این برند یعنی کرم بروله میمونه و برای من جای تعجبه که چرا تاپ نت عطر که در فروش عطر خیلی مهمه رو اینقدر در این دو عطر هارش و خشن کار کرده اند اما اگه اون نت ابتدایی اش رو نادیده بگیریم؛ از نظر من عطر گورماند دوست داشتنی هست

Will I reach for it often? With total honesty: No, it's way too sweet and girly for me🥹but it will be nice on holidays🌴The best part of the perfume? Despite some said they don't get it, I do: The waffle note🧇It's very prominent and I love it🤍I can predict it will be a hit this season among the youngest! Projection is moderate, can't tell about longevity or dry down yet because I've just received it and sprayed it on my skin less than an hour ago😋

Es una pena que este perfume, y otros de la misma línea, por no decir todos; son efímeros. El olor a penas dura, podría decir sin exagerar que en unos 20-30 minutos empiezas a dudar si realmente te lo has puesto o no porque no deja rastro, es como un crimen perfecto. Es la única pega porque por el resto es ideal, pero no es un defecto tan perdonable. Esta casa se caracteriza por tener perfumes fotorealistas, en este caso, más que helado, noto yogur. Un yogur muy fresquito, recién sacado de la nevera, con un poquito de endulzante. Pero no cualquier yogur, uno de frutas, no específicamente de pera. Me recuerda mucho a los yogures tipo albaricoque-melocotón. Es un aroma muy fresco, por eso entiendo que se catalogue como 'helado', podría llegar a ser hasta un yogur helado. Helado no. Es dulce, muy dulce, no empalaga pero sí confunde. El olor de cono de helado depende del país o región supongo, es una galleta avainillada, genérica. Pero esto no es malo, es único y querido.

Guys I finally got my hands on this perfume and was able to do full day test :) If you like smell of pear than this is it! On me it smells like fresh pear, sweet, gourmand.. there is nothing green, earthy or musky. Its a literal fresh sweet pear. I purchased it as I do not have any perfume in my collection with pear notes but I found out that I prefer another fruits in perfumes such as banana or pineapple. I love Theodoros Kalotinis (coffee addict is one of my favorite) but I think I prefer Lemon Tart over this but I must say that Pear Gelato has better performance than Lemon Tart. I sprayed 2 sprays (one on my clothes and on on my hand) and I could smell it all day. I mean after 4 hrs it sits closer to the skin but if you are oversprayer than people will definitely smell you.

Definitely smells like pear gelato with a distinct waffle cone note, but the pear feels quite artificial on the dry down. That being said, it’s quite nice and the waffle cone really adds beautiful depth especially as it develops more strongly a few hours in. The vanilla adds a bit of creaminess, but I can’t say I necessarily smell any milk. Has minimal sillage and lasts about 7 hours on me. I saw that this was compared to Xerjoff Italica and while the waffle cone slightly resembles Italica’s toffee note, Italica doesn’t have any fruitiness and is much heavier on the caramel-esque toffee.

Listen, I am not a hater, but also I guess it was a bit overhyped.. there was so much expectation because of people saying this was the best pear gourmand, I think I succumbed because of this advertisement. Which in my opinion, is not it. I don’t really get the pear. There is a fruitiness to it but not a succulent, watery pear. What I do get is a synthetic waffle cone smell that I do like, its actually what intrigues me. Again, it is a synthetic note but many times these create an allure for being so distinct to the nose. But its definitely not for everyone.

Probably my favourite from Kalotinis right now. It's what I expected from Kayalis Pistachio yum but this is more sophisticated with more simplified, but also more complex notes compared to kayalis that has way too much notes to even be able to separate them from each other. Pear Gelato Is just what it sounds like. A pear gelato you bought at an ice cream shop somewhere in warm, southern Europe. Easy to wear, very realistic, nostalgic and just perfect. Intoxicating. The lesser the notes the better in my opinion. Definitely recommend this! 5/5

Smells like pear yogurt more than a photo-realistic pear. It's light and airy the way a summer gourmand would be. Fitting for beach days and well layerable since the scent is faint, but nothing that simply spraying more on won't fix. (Don't let the three spritz warriors fool you) I love milk scents as well and similarly see through the spoiled milk and synthetic comments cause that waffle cone is present in a sneaky way that makes it smell a little weird straight out of the box. Update: Smells like Room Temp, Unflavored Yogurt. Womp womp

A very creamy, lactonic pear. My boyfriend and I both smell pear yogurt from this, but in a nice way. There is some sweetness that I associate with the waffle cone. It is somehow synthetic-smelling but also kind of realistic. It's an interesting one for sure. I am not sure how this will fare in the summer as it is pretty sweet, but it's not crazy strong either. I can confidently say that I have never smelled anything else like this fragrance. I would not call this a crowd-pleaser.

This smells so good on my skin - fresh pears over a background of warm waffle cone and vanilla ice cream. My husband is a huge fan of this one because he loves pears. Sadly, Pear Gelato only lasts for 2 hours on me before fading into a nondescript sweet skin scent. I really wish this had the longevity and projection of TK's extrait de parfum Creme Brûlée, which smells gorgeous and also lasts and projects like a beast for 8+ hours, because then for sure I would buy a full bottle.

this is one of the first scents that I've recognized lactonic notes in. On first spray immediately pear, milk, and sugar. It quickly transforms into sugar/waffle cone. for the next hour or so, it rocks between gentle pear and milky waffle cone. would be great for spring weather--IMO too sticky for summer, not heavy enough for winter, too bright for fall. excited to layer with this one because it's just a little too sweet and doesn't last long enough on its own.

'Pear Gelato' smells like juicy caramelized pear, with vanilla icecream and crushed sweet cone on top. Yummy! It's very sweet and sugary but I like it! A must try for pear and gourmand lovers. That being said, I can't wear it every day - it could become too much if you were to constantly smell it - the sweetness is just VERY syrupy. (I usually just wear a lighter perfume for a few days as a small break from all that sugar.)

When I first got the perfume a few months back it had a very synthetic pear note that seemed strange, and it lasted for almost the entire wear. Now that I have let it sit and it's gotten darker, no longer clear, the weird pear note isn't bothering me as much. After an hour, it becomes more about the creamy vanilla and waffle cone and less about the pear. I actually like it now. I'm glad that I was patient.

You need to like pear because you will get a lot of pear here. It is sweet pear, like covered in some kind of syrup. Pear is definitely a queen here. I can also detect waffle cone, just a little bit and vanilla. Im not sure if it will be easy reach for summer because there is a lot of sweetnes here. It is nice scent, but I expected something more refreshing

I appreciate the initial prominent notes of pear and ice cream, complemented by a distinct wafer accord. However, as the scent evolves, the wafer note becomes the sole discernible element. Both longevity and sillage are moderate. I would consider repurchasing this product due to its unique olfactory profile, or I could opt for Lemon Tart instead.

at first it smelled like rancid pear ice cream when i testes it on paper. but when I apllied it to my skin, it transfomed into a melting pear ice cream in a cone. you get the freshness and milky feeling of an ice cream, and after that fades away you're left with just the waffle cone sweet scent. and a lingering milky pear scent. i'm obsessed.
