Pistachio Latte

Oh. My. God. I have tried so so so many pistachio perfumes now*, but this is the absolute best. The pistachio is very clear, but the nuttiness is well balanced and doesn't overpower the lovely, cozy sweet milk scent beneath it. It has none of all of those extraneous notes Kayali or some of the others have. No woods or peach or whatever. It's simply the smell of pistachio ice cream, but warmer. A warm milk with pistachio syrup. Nothing more and nothing less. It's fairly linear - the milky notes are stronger in the drydown and the pistachio less at the fore, but really it's just comfort in a bottle - 100% absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted from a pistachio. Buying a full bottle now as soon as payday comes along! Sillage is arm length on skin, a bit more on hair and clothes. Longevity is medium - a few hours of my nose pressed to the back of my hand. Unisex, as long as it's a man who can wear straight gourmands. SO GOOD. *Pistachio scents owned or trialled include: Kayali Yum Gelato, Zara Moonlight Whisper, Obvious Une Pistache, SDJ Cheriosa 62, Dua Pistachio Almond Cream, Seventy Seven Scents Creme de Pistache, Claire's Pistache Cerise, M&S Discover Sunset. This is the best one.

It smells exactly like pistachio spread used in italian desserts. I love it omg!! It’s so realistic and yummy. 💚🍦 Ps. This shares ZERO resemblance to yum gelato, like zero. Not trying to be rude but no idea how anyone can compare them, because they are 2 completely different scents lol. Yum gelato is a fresh floral with the tiniest bit of nuttiness and doesn’t actually smell that gourmand. TK pistachio latte smells so photorealistic and sweet and edible with a strong nutty pistachio note and a frothy milky sweet vibe!

I bought cinnamon rolls and then i tested out pistachio latte and automatically fell in love. I had to buy it. It is so yummy. It smells exactly like that, pistachio and heavy condensed sugary milk, super super sweet. It reminds me of girl of now’s sweetness. And it also reminds me of yum pistachio as someone said previously. Pistachio latte is more gourmand, but definitely the pistachio note is very similar on both. It also lasted on me much more than cinnamon rolls.

I have quite a few from this house. I like this. This is a freeze dried ice cream and pistachio blend. I don't get the deep milky latte effect. This is more dry powdery milk pistachio. This last all day on me! I actually layer this with Pear Gelato from this house. I spray my beard with Pistachio Latte and my clothes with Pear Gelato and had people asking what I was wearing all day. 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿. So far, the only fragrance I don't like from this house is the Cherry one.

I love this, the opening is very impressive, to me it’s photorealistic sweet pistachio and marzipan, delicious! Although this quickly dissipates and smells to me almost like creamy/milky pistachio porridge maybe? Which I find very comforting! Okay silage and pretty good longevity. Super happy that I blind bought this and love!

I sampled six fragrances, and this was my favorite. In my opinion, this evolved the most. It started off very green for five seconds then a creamy, sweetness developed. Very girly bright milk smell. Hopefully it doesn’t curdle. Jk. Smells like a dessert I would like to eat.

Incredibly photorealistic frothy, creamy pistachio and almond milk. Very lactonic and not too sweet. An ‘adult gourmand’ as it’s not overdone, just a frothy nutty latte. Nothing like the soapy cheap mess that is Kayali’s YPG. Lasts for hours on my skin and projects well.

The first note that I smelled was pistachio, but it quickly transformed into an almond note, like Disaronno (almond liquor). The dry-down smells sweet and milky and like caramel. It doesn't have a strong projection, which is a shame.

This is the best pistachio on the market, for that price point is unbealivable

This was an instant love for me! To me this smells exactly like pistachio ice cream or gelato. It smells so realistic. I don’t get peanuts or spoilt milk. It smells exactly as it’s supposed to. I think this would be gorgeous in spring or summer, maybe even all year round. It’s creamy, refreshing but also comforting, sweet and fun. I have only tried two other pistachio scents: 1. Jousset's Ciao Belle Pistachio which was extremely realistic, but too strong/overpowering and dry for me. 2. Kayali’s Yum Yum Pistachio which I found weird! I’m still unsure if I like it. It was very artificial smelling and wasn’t recognisable as pistachio. This is my absolute favourite pistachio scent! It has the perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness I was looking for. You really can’t go wrong with this in my opinion, and at £45 it’s a bargain! Absolutely delicious!

The are two types of pistachio flavours in desserts: the one which is just like marzipan and another one, which is toasted, almost savoury/salty pistachio. I prefer the second one way more! Now Pistachio Latte opens with the marzipan, but a sweet and delicious lactonic version of it. Also, it is pretty loud, the loudest from the recent release. Later is settles down into a more creamy, milky version of pistachio gelato, which is no longer that marzipan heavy and I really like it. The milky notes are creamy, but not fake smelling (unlike some other milky scents of there). Also this lactonic part is pretty similar to Cinnamon Rolls, and I like that too! In general, this is one of the best gourmand pistachio /ice-cream scents!

Sampling Theodoros Kalotinis Pistachio Latte, a 2024 release and one of the house’s several very deliberate gourmand offerings, a creamy, dusty, nutty blend with a modest suggestion of coffee, fittingly a latte that’s sweet and agreeable. It’s not the most striking version of this type of fragrance but nicely incorporates a sort of pistachio/almond sharpness along side a sweet creamy latte composition. It’s very pleasant and likely an easy winner for gourmand lovers. As with most of the line, its concentration is EDP, priced at a very reasonable $55 for 50ml and sold via Luckyscent in the US. 7 out of 10

Smelled like very synthetic almond for the first few minutes, which initially had me worried. Luckily, it settles into a nice, calm, creamy nutty scent with a hint of sweetness, not too overpowering (I only did one spray though, as the almond-y opening was a little intense). I kinda like it, but I can't say it's my new favorite pistachio fragrance. Gonna test out some layering combos to see if i can get more use out of it. Doesn't remind me of yum pistachio personally.

I had huge hopes for this one, as i've seen reviews that it's probably the best pistachio fragrance. Safe to say i'm still in search of the best one, most authentic. This one opens up very strong pistachio and a bit suffocating, luckily settles in a minute. In 15 20 minutes I feel only the creamy part of the condensed milk. It doesnt evolve much past that. It is also disappointigly moderate as longevity. I will definitely wear it, but it's far from "love".

Opens with a syrupy pistachio and cream. It reminds me of a delicious almond liqueur with milk and vanilla. On dry down that boozy quality settles down and the nuttiness becomes much more prominent. It really does smell like a bag of pistachios. I love layering this with other creamy gourmands to add a pistachio element. I probably would not wear this as a standalone.

The opening was massively impressive. My eyes widened with excitement at how realistic the pistachio was, and the gorgeous milky creaminess that is blended so beautifully into it. As it dries down, I’m finding myself loving it less. Ten minutes in, it reminds me more of a sort of boring almond lotion. Unfortunate. Still on the hunt for a beautiful pistachio. 6/10

At the opening it smells like pure almond extract then dries down to a very nutty “mazapán” scent. The dry down smells exactly like the Pistache skincare line which includes both a body butter and perfume (which is like 10 bucks cheaper). Was expecting more of a pistachio ice-cream or gelato kind of scent but this is too peanut-buttery for my taste

presents like a baking extract - concentrated, robust, single note. as a pistachio fiend I enjoy layering this with other gourmands to make my own little dessert treat. the dry down is where you find the supposed milk/condensed milk scent, but I second the other commenter who said its smells more like marzipan.

I hated cinnamon one but this one is really nice. First 3 minutes it smells like cheap almond extract but luckily it settles down and then I can smell green pistacio, salt and sweetened milk. It is nice, does not remind me of yum pistacio at all.

Category: Nutty, powdery, lactonic Notes: Just straight up almond and sugar. Nutty, milky and powdery. The longer it stays on the more it starts smelling like baby powder and condensed milk, but overall the dominant notes are almond and sugar. Vibe: Semla. Baby powder. Powdered sugar. Almond. Almond paste. Almond biscuit. Sillage: 4/10. Quite mild and unassuming, but in this case I think it’s a positive. If this was any louder it would quite frankly be nauseating. Intimate but not a skin scent. Longevity: 7.5/10. Lasts about 6 hours with decent sillage. After that point strength quickly diminishes and by hour 8 the scent is just barely there. Very decent longevity considering the price point. Wear: Day. I don’t think I can accurate place this in a season, but I think it’s a little too thick for summer wear so anything except that. Unisex with a moderate feminine lean. Quiet, sweet and inoffensive and so it is definitely office wear approved. Overall rating: 4.5/10. This is a fairly enjoyable, photorealistic almond for a large portion of the wear time. Well, almond paste, to be specific - you know, the kind where almonds and sugar are blended into a thick, sweet and nutty paste. It is nutty and a little powdery with a pleasant sweetness, all against a milky backdrop which grows stronger with time. My biggest gripe as always with fragrances that claim to smell like pistachio is, of course, that they don’t smell anything like pistachio. Pistachio in perfumery is just almond and deceptive marketing. It just so happens that I am not a huge fan of almond, or at least this almond paste-y version of it, as I think it is a little too decadent and powdery. At the end of the day it kind of just reads as a remixed and modernized baby powder note, which I am also not a fan of, and this definitely leans further and further towards baby powder the longer it stays on. Unfortunately as that baby powder nuance becomes clearer, the overall impression also shifts towards that of something so clearly synthetic. I will also say that the “latte” concept feels somewhat deceptive as well - when I hear latte I’m thinking coffee, but there is no coffee here. There is that thick, balmy nuttiness which can, and absolutely does, carry some milky nuances but in my opinion it doesn’t justify putting “latte” in the name. A more appropriate/accurate name for this scent would be almond paste or almond sugar. While it isn’t the worst almond fragrance, it certainly isn’t the best either. Could not reasonably see myself reaching for this at any point. Who would wear it?: Lili Reinhart.

Insane longevity. I sprayed 3 puffs 3 DAYS ago and I still smell it from time to time (and yes I took showers, but not too high on the neck cuz i didnt wanna wet my hair). That being said, even projection is insane. About the smell itself: it’s meh. It opens with a very strong and pure pistachio but then it becomes very lactonic but in a bad way - that kind of milk that wasn’t in the fridge and starts to smell weird. Pistachio latte sounds delicious as a name for a parfume, but unfortunately on my skin it’s not the best.

The opening is super sweet pistachio ice cream. Creamy, nutty, and prominent pistachio, no mistaking it. As it dries down, the overwhelming sugariness dissipates and it becomes more nutty and salty. This might be too much perfume for me, but it is a well done and realistic pistachio if you like that sort of thing.

It starts out with a great pistachio sweetness and within 15 min that nasty synthetic base Theodoros Kalotinis is using is all you smell. It is very prominent in certain scents and Pistachio Latte is one. Sad.

Very sweet and nutty and milky, but in an unsettling way. Smells a bit stifling and musty coming from a human being. Almost play-doh like.

Well, ar first i thought it smells nice, its a very synthetic pistachio and almond with a creamy base. I am glad i didn’t impulse buy it right after, because I let it sit on my skin and the drydown is very dissappointing, like old milk turning sour...bacause of this, I cannot purchase it. Wish the drydown was different..

This has a very nice creamy pistachio opening and a great price, but to me the dry down turns sour and unpleasant. So much so that I've tried multiple times to wash it off, but it still lingers. It's unfortunate, I wanted to like this one.

This smells exactly as described, but it is overly sweet to the point that it's almost sickening. It's fine in small doses, but it was too much for me when wearing it on my skin all day as it had very high longevity.

Not worth the price. It smells very much like Yum Pistachio Gelato by Kayali, but lasts less on the skin. Wouldn't recommend.

I’m so glad I didn’t blind-buy this. TK’s gourmand perfumes in the £45 range have disgusting synthetic aromachemicals that are cheap and this is not an exception. Lemon Tart was disappointing, and I don’t know what this is. The waxy fake almond accord never goes away. There’s no comparison of this with Laura Mercier Almond Coconut or Demeter Pistachio Ice Cream, both of which I own and they're both natural-smelling quality scents you should try instead.

This should be called evil pistachio. in the bottle? gorgeous marzipan almond. then i spray it. there is realistic smelling pistachio in there... but my eye starts twitching. my nose burns. my head feels like it will explode. 20kg of salt.. deadly chemicals and lot of puke.. i need to call a professional to remove this from my home probably an exorcist

A dangerously sweet pistachio. I had high hopes for this, especially after loving Coffee Addict and Lemon Tart, but this was seriously unpleasant. The lactonic note is frankly spoiled. Quite disappointing.

I've owned several Theodoros Kalotinis perfumes including velvet chocolate, pear gelato, alluring fig and lemon tart. And now pistachio latte. Initially I fell in love with all of them in their own unique way, but after a while I realised that I barely use them. Couldn't put my finger on what bothered me. Pear gelato was the only one that I kept. Kept as in kept for around a month and then had to sell it. I didn't wanna give up quite yet though so I bought Pistachio latte and good lord. For some reason it gave me flashbacks to the day I first tried Italica and was completely overwhelmed. At first spray all I can smell is concentrated almond syrup. Luckily that fades quickly but into something that is even more cloying, and sticky in some way. The notes don't lie. You get what you pay for. Condensed milk mixed with pistachios. A big plus though, for the pistachio being surprisingly photorealistic. Eventually I sold this one too. I've had some theories about if Kalotinis purposefully sneaks the same DNA in every single one of his creations which makes them smell redundant.. All of them smell captivating at first but I quickly get tired of them, am I the only one? DM me in that case, would love to hear your take on it! But yeah, Pistachio Latte..it's addictive for a little while, then it fades down to a skin scent. Nothing complex, it's very linear. If you're a true hardcore gourmand lover I believe you'd love this one :)

This should be called 'Almond Milk.' The opening is strong almond marzipan. The dry down is sweet and creamy with still a bit of almond left, and I'm getting a slight green/jasmine/citrus vibe which I'm pretty sure is Hedione. It reminds me of the dry down of Yum Pistachio Gelato. It's surprisingly pleasant, and I usually don't like any hint of green/citrus/floral in my gourmands. Anyhow, I struggle to detect any pistachio among the almonds, and I think 'latte' to most English speakers would suggest coffee, rather than milk, so Almond Milk would be a much more accurate name! She's going on 6 hours on my skin and still definitely detectable, albeit a skin scent by now. I got arm-length protection for maybe the first two hours. Yum Pistachio was completely gone on me by the 2 hour mark, however I was able to just barely detect the pistachio in that one.

I'm not typically a gourmand girl and milk notes are hit or miss on my skin, so I was surprised I enjoyed it so much! Despite having "latte" in the name, it smells almost identical to pistachio pudding, with some added warmth. The condensed milk gives it the perfect amount of sweetness and it's not too foody (which is usually my concern!). Sometimes pistachio is so unsweet and nutty that it gets a bit sour, but that's not the case at all here. I would say that it's a bit artificial, tho. In the warmer weather I could see it get a little cloying, but now in the winter it's perfect. Creates a nice little scent bubble, maybe 5-6 hours of wear time.

Sickeningly sweet, it opens with a blast of pistachio weighed down by thick condensed milk. It’s heavy and cloying, before eventually settling after a few minutes on the skin and smelling like a better blend. The pistachio becomes more apparent with a softened, almost ground quality - warm and salty, as though being crushed in a heated press. However, I can't seem to escape this nauseatingly sweet condensed milk note that hits me in random whiffs. For someone like me who doesn’t enjoy very sweet scents, it becomes severely unpleasant.

Initial spray is almond marzipan and some alcohol note with green note. The alcohol is not creamy - not amaretto, more like vodka with condensed milk and pistachio, but the opening is not here for long!!! In 2-3 minutes I'm getting milky - creamy base with nutty accord. It's so cozy and comforting (other then the first 2-3 minutes). It's not very long lasting though (maybe because it needs to sit for some time)

disclaimer i tried it on testing paper, so i really only smelled the opening/mid. wow its like pure almond extract. it smells so good. it smells like the artificial flavoring used in pistachio icecream with hints of those lightly toasted chopped pistachio nuts. the best pistachio perfume ive smelled so far. want to try again on the skin to experience the mid/drydown. maybe my feelings will change after lol

Well I was expecting to smell a soft, light, creamy, milky pistachio, but the dry down strongly reminds me of the 71 sol de janeiro mist and on my skin it has a weird used baby diaper smell. If you want a sweet, extremely gourmand pistachio, go for it (if you like “ciao bello pistachio” or “accident à la vanille madeleine de proust” by jousset, you'll love it).

The opening smells just like these Christmas tree cookies my aunt always mails me around the holidays. I'm in love. It's quite nutty upon first opening, which I like a lot - I get pistachio and almond, and aside from that it smells just like a maraschino cherry with pistachio ice cream. It's beautiful and I can't wait to wear it in the cold weather.

This is the most photorealistic marzipan scent I’ve smelled, which is weird given that they have other almond scents, and actual marzipan scents, that do not smell as close to the real thing as this. It’s nice but the nuttiness disappears so fast and leaves sweet milk in its wake, which is okay but I already have perfumes that tick that box.

I loved every single one from this line up to... This situation. The opening is a mix of cheap candy and marzipan figures, maybe it’s me but my nose is blind to the supposed pistachio scent in this perfume. It just seems a combination of synthetic sweetness. Longevity and sillage seem moderate 🤷🏻♀️

I was sceptical and unfortunately did not become a fan. It is bitter almond cherry like pistachio and the drydown version just reminds me of zara's moonlight whisper. I really tried to like it but it's not for my nose. I'm yet to find a nutty, more realistic roasted pistachio fragrance.

Do people wait until the dry down to review this? Because while Pistachio Latte smells like a delectable, creamy photorealistic dessert upon first spray, it rapidly devolves into whatever those cheap perfume chemicals are which are used by indie brands as a base note. Hard pass.

If you want to smell like a photorealistic pistachio, this is the fragrance for you. It’s not sweet at all on me, just 100% nut. I layered it with Baklava Bite which has more honey and less pistachio, and then it became quite nice, but I won’t be buying a bottle of this.

On my skin, it doesn’t really give me ‘latte’ at all, and the pistachio comes off a bit too artificial for my taste. It’s not a bad scent by any means—just okay. Personally, I think there are better TK and pistachio fragrances out there.

A very very satisfying and for me the best rendition of the milk note. Smell like a warm cup of moderately sweetened milk. Very realistic and natural smelling. I do not smell much pitaschio. But the milky experience is top notch!

I think this needed more milk and less nut to truly be ‘pistachio latte’. It’s just pistachio. In its raw form. Which is great if what you’re looking for is an actual pistachio smell. But I wanted the cream :(
